It's amazing how quickly the weather can change. Just a few weeks ago we were bundled up in our warmest coats, and now it's finally starting to feel like springtime. With temps in the 40s and 50s, it's the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. My pound cake plant is finally getting somewhere. It's totally weird, because the stems turned this super cool purple color. Soon it's going to be covered in pound cake buds that'll be ready to eat. I'm thinking fancy frosting might be the way to go, but I'm also considering something fruity on top.

Day 30. Worried about running out of space. I have been tying the plant down perform LST which is helping. Only change in feeding schedule is I have reduced call mag from 5.0 Ml to 3.0 ML and have added big swell by aurora nutrient lines 2.0 ml

08/11: La troisième semaine de floraison commence enfin on devrait les fleurs prendre forme. J'espère que le stretch est fini car elle est assez grande et doit laisser un peu de place au autres. 08/12: la troisième semaine débute sur une note un peu amer. Espérons que les prochains jours seront plus cool et que cela vas arranger mon problème. 08/13: après avoir fait plus de recherche je suis enfin tombé sur un article sur le blog de pevgrow et mon problème correspond en tout point à une carence en magnésium. Je devrais voir voir des améliorations dans les 4 à 7 jours. Et bien-sûr continuer à donner du calmag. Le problème viendrai du fait que je tourne en 24/7 avec les auto's enfin c'est ce que je pense après avoir croisé les conseils et avis des "growers" de GD et certains articles. 08/14: c'est dernier jours ont été intense pour moi, lors de mon premier diaries j'avais déjà eu le même problèmes avec une purplequeen auto à l'époque je n'avais pas de calmag... enfin tous ça pour dire merci à la communauté growdiaries.com qui m'a conseillé et supporter. Maintenant cela c'est stabilisé et n'atteint aucune autre feuilles, les nouvelles feuilles sont belles et viguoireuses. Day 42 flowering: What a start to this update with the #3 Mango cream being ready for harvest NOW!!!. She has been maturing very quickly during the last few weeks and I have been concerned that she was somehow going towards a toxicity issue. Her buds began darkening really early in flower and I thought it looked very different to the others. As the last week has passed I have been looking at her trichrones with the microscope as they oustils had all gone majority brown too. They had mostly clouded and a couple of odd amber spheres were visible too. as the week went on I saw more begin to amber so took her out a day ago too have a dark period before trimmed for drying . She is the first I have ever had this quick in decades of growing !. The video shows her colours off well and her maturity to harvest too. @exoticseeds have a winner here. lol she smells amazing too with a really nice icky sticky feel . I will update her progress once trimmed. #1 is the smaller of the 3 remaining ladies now ansneven with the #4 beingna week behind her she is still the smallest in height. Her buds are nice and chunky and just as we hit the budswell period too , so shebshould finish with some nice sized colas. #2 Mango is a beast of a plant and by far the largest. Her main is a beast of a cola already with the side branching really picking up some size now too. A brilliant example of the strain I think. Her main is really tacky to touch and the nice smell it leaves all over my fingers is mouth-watering now. She should yield very well. #4Mango at day 35 looks very like the #3 plant for her bud appearance. slightly different pheno i think. More like a wedding cake strain but still very nice and colourful. She has been using pellets in the soil mix and just waterings but they are not good in my opinion and I have had to add megacrop to keepnher growing well now I waited as long as I dare to see if the pellets helped in flower but even using the second part of the feed has not helped. The megacrop has already begun to colour them back up to a more healthy green so i am hoping I can keep her happy until harvest now. She is pushing out a very nice fruity smell now too. I am looking forward to trying the photoperiod strains I have from exotic now and will be germinating Herz Og and Quick sherbet in a couple of weeks time for the summer run. Top genetics from a great breeder . Thank you Exotic. ###UPDATE###UPDATE###UPDATE### The Mango cream #3 has been in the dark for the past 48hrs and has now been trimmed and is hanging to dry. She will be dried low and slow now for approx 10-14 days at around 15-17°C in a large cardboard box with a steady air exchange. She has a surprising size and weight to her for such a short time from seed and is as finished as any plant i have harvested before . What an amazing little lady she has been to grow She looked a little stunted initially and soon filled the pot she was in. 20L was way too small for these genetics to flourish and at least a 30L would be my advice. Happy days , let's see what she yields dried while we wait for her sisters to join her. Be well Growmies

Saturday Jan 10, 2020. Germinated seeds in pH 7 water for 24 hours January 11, 2020. Soil was ammended with homemade worm castings, activated bio char, endo/ecto microhyazae, diastatic malt and high quality basalt and gypsum. After root tip emerged seed was placed in soil around 1-2in deep, root tip facing down. Day 1: January 14th. First day of seedling stage as it has risen above the soil and the chotyledons have opened.

I have a fan blasting her most of the time in an attempt to replicate strong winds which hopefully will help strengthen the stems . I'll be giving her one more week of veg and then I'll flip the lighting schedule from 16/8 to 12/12 I will also be using Advanced nutes PH perfect from now on as Im out of the Professors nutrients A+B Thats about it for now 👊

Ppms jumped back up to 1600 flushed her down to 900. Gonna feed at 750ppm for the rest of the week with a half dose of budxl expecting her to go another 3-4 weeks easy, still throwing tons of white hairs and waiting for the final swell

The plant is growing extremely, especially due to the flower stretching, a second net was hung up and high shoots were tied down again. The lamp is now running at 75% As a result, the DLI value is approx. 28 and the ppfd value 700. Flowering day: 14

Mandarin Squeeze has had a very week start. She sprouted, then acted like she was gonna dampen off. So I stuck the second seed in the rockwool. It looked undeveloped a bit. So it might not sprout or I will have dueling plants if it does. She is very week, but looking way better then a few days ago. 🤞🏻one of them gets established. Germinated with glass of water then moved to paper towels. Soil is a 3:1 promix to organic.

Flowering day 70 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update.
