Diese Woche habe ich beide Pflanzen entlaubt, sodass mehr Licht an die Blüten kommt. Gegossen wurde etwa alle 2-3 Tage und gedüngt nach Herstellerangabe mit 50% Wachstumsdünger und 50% Blütendünger. Beide Pflanzen entwickeln sich gut und ich hoffe es bleibt auch so.

Day 14: Still not much sun this week or higher temperatures. Therefore my plants don't grow faster and thicker. Just bit by bit. Also because of the lower temperatures, my medium doesn't dry up and the roots don't drink that much, so I can't water them often. If I would water them everyday or once per 2 days, they will get soaked, roots will rot and the plant will turn lightgreen and stop growing. I gues the same climate temperature will continu for another 2 weeks, meaning that my plants won't veg into maximum size before going into flowering. Let see how it goes and hopefully i'm mistaken. Would definitely grow this strain again with some lst work and a large pot from the start I would hope to double the yeild atleast. I'm a fan of the chunky buds atm and this plant has some nice chunky buds! The smell is very earthy and a little bit of sweet. Smooth taste and a pretty heavy high! Buds are super sticky. I have heard alot about fastbuds and I will continue to purchase there seeds! If it wasn't for mars hydro and there affordable products I wouldn't be here!

Was facing some difficulty when it came to lighting (what brand, wattage, output range, full spectrum etc.) Did a watering today with a mix of Epsom salt & purified water which was the 1st nutrient mixture since my ladies been in the soil. A couple of changes made since I've joined GD is I changed the distance of lights to plant (was @ 14-18 now 20-24 inches away thanks for that folks) lighting schedule is still on a 18/6hr. Another trick I choose was the water used...it's either rain water or artesian water both help eliminate unwanted pH unbalance. This is my 1st grow and Im going to post more photos of the entire setup. If you guys&gala have any other helpful tips for a better grow lmk. I also wanted to do a LST on my autos but not quite sure when to do, they're currently coming out of week 2 into week 3 vegg mode. Every tip and hint helps so let em fly.

Wow what a week this has been, the plants have all undergone fair dramatic changes. A real flurry of leaf yellowing, pistil darkening/curling, and bug swelling. The smell is really coming along now, I think we're really quite close to harvest. On the assumption that pre-flowering was two weeks, this strain should be ready at the end of week seven flowering, so in the case of this diary the end of week nine (i.e. one week to go!). Pistils are about 70-80% amber, and the lower pistils on buds have started curling inward. Trichomes look to me to be something like 10% clear 80% Milky 10% White. I have smoke tested a small bud off the lower part of plant 3 today after quick-drying overnight in the airing cupboard, taking into consideration the obvious chlorophyll from the fast dry, the high was much closer to what I am expecting than the last smoke test. It came on at the normal pace, was quite effective, and lasted a good while. I am really hoping I can navigate my way through the next process, as I feel quite close now to having some home grown bud for the first time. The plants are being well watered this evening with just water, and this will be the last time that I water them until harvest. I will continue to monitor these daily, I intend to harvest at the first sign of any amber trichome. Advice and comments welcomed. P.S. Exciting news! El cambio de alimentación les ha venido muy bien para terminar de engordar, y coger peso en las flores, bajaré la EC progresivamente y subiré el PH a 6.7 para que se pongan amarillas y así eliminar el maximo de clorofila posible, tras bajar la EC y regar un par de veces con agua solo, eso espero. El olor de esta variedad es brutal, un olor a fruta profundo, el típico olor de critical pero con un toque añejo y fuerte, y los cogollos son duros y compactos incluso en los bajos, es una variedad que os recomiendo cultivar, no os arrepentireís 😉 #emeraldharvestofficialtester

Hanging tight with this kiddo... If one thing is for certain, she is dedicated to her life as a bushy Betty. Having to so often defoliate has stressed this lady out. Despite that, she is surprisingly still hauling strong. I have to say, in my experience Fastbuds genetics really take a beating. My cycle with her goes something like, bush out, defoliate, stress, bounce back with full on bush, repeat.

Cloudy week

Another week of blooming for the HighCloudz and the buds are growing well. The top leafs are not looking too good because of the excess nitrogen, but the new leafs are healthy again. I'm glad it didn't slow down the flowering and I'm extra careful from now on to not overfeed her. The smell on this plant is amazing! It's sour/lemon and very spicy, almost like fresh ground pepper. I never grown a plant with this terpene profile before and I'm already looking forward to the smoke report :) The smaller plants have the same aroma, with a hint of candy. Not much more to say for now, my plan is to give her the peace and quiet to grow some beautiful flowers ☘️✌️ Stay tuned for more updates and pics later this week!

19.1.25: I have watered all plants with 300ml of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3, with 1/3 jar of black strap molasses with Ecothrive Biosys-1g. I am looking to increase the sugars for microbial life and plant processes. It'll also add some extra Calcium, Magnesium and trace elements. I also, watered all plants with Bloom nutrients. Using dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients: (ml/l) ;- ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag ♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max ♡ 1g of Ecothrive Biosys I watered around 1-3 litres per plant. Depending on size and requirements. I'm still spilling water containing the nutrient solution. 🙄 I am using this to rub into the leaves. I think a nice foliar massage won't do any harm, make the most of the situation. The plants have become very hungry and thirsty. Increased the water by double. I ran out of my TNC cal-mag. I decided to order the Xpert Nutrients brand, as I like their products. It isn't organic as far as I can tell, but I don't think it matters too much to me, to be honest. I also want to top dress this week, so I bought some Green Leaf PK bud Booster dry amendment from Amazon, too. I'll mix it with canna coco, perlite, worm castings, and Ecothrive Life Cycle. 24.1.25: I went ahead and top dressed all the plants with 4.5 gallons of my supersoil custom mix. This consists of the following substrate and dry amendments: ♡ 60% Canna coco ♡ 20% Worm castings ♡ 15 % Perlite The remaining 5% consists of the following dry amendments;- ♡ 10g Ecothrive Biosys ♡ 1 Tsp RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules ♡ 3 Tsp Vitalink Bat guano ♡ 4 Tsp Diatomaceous earth ♡ 8 Tsp Ground Cinnamon ♡ 10g Green Leaf Bud Booster PK booster. ♡ 3 Tsp Ecothrive Life Cycle. •Worm castings for some all round nutrition. •Cinnamon for mildew and bug repellent. •Canna coco base substrate. •Perlite for adding oxygen to the root and soil system. •Green Leaf Bud Booster PK Booster for blooming. Pics taken on day 36. Some, if not most of these are lightly seeded, I've checked for herms but cant find no nuts. Sucks but from what I've read and people I've talked to seems like it wont be too big of a deal in the end, some old school growers even prefer lightly seeded nugget, I've never tried it intentionally. The green buzz nutes are working well. I'm almost out of the more PK so I had to add herculean harvest liquid bonemeal to get the ppm where i want it while trying to conserve the Gbl to last the rest of the run. Didnt have the lady to take my pics today so I was limited and had to take them lefty one handed and was shakey af. #1 is a little weird and compact but looks like it has potential to fill in pretty good. #2 is exactly what I was looking for. Showing some purple tint and the nugs are perfect nice and chunky. I like they way shes put together.
