They completed lfirst week of Flower. Decreasing Humidity gradually to increase VPD to 1.5. Heady OG turned out to be a male one so removed it :( But, the ladies seem to enjoy life and they keep stretching every day. They have doubled in size just in one week Humidity is fluctuating between 52-58%. Temp is 22-26 Celsius. VPD is relatively constant around 1.30 except for very rainy days where my dehumidifier gets info play. PPFD is around 900 uMol.

This lemon cheese is growing very well s lot of nice nugs covered in trichomes. The nutrients plan and watering schedule stayed the same as the previous week. I bought an electric microscope so expect trichomes pictures soon. 23/07 Update as promised I caught a couple trichomes pics and I can count 2 amber trichomes in the crowd, I will start flushing starting tomorrow

04/09 - Started minor defoliation. Shes getting too bushy and blocking bud sites and causing moisture spots. Will remove a couple of leaves every other day for the next week. 05/09 - Full res change. Realised I mucked up the ratio. Went 35ml Micro, 25ml grow, (Shouldve been the other way around, so added an extra 10ml grow), 15ml Bloom and 15ml Silica. EC 1.4, PH 5.7. Will keep an eye on her and add some additional grow if she does alright. 06/09 - Minor defoliation. Removed about 12 leaves total so far. LST to spread the canopy a little more. PH stable at 5.8, EC at 1.4, Water level dropping. Seems to be stretching and pistils have begun to form! Responding well to the uptick in nutes from the res change. 07/09 - Leaf tucking, LST and took a leaf or two. Shes getting her stretch on for sure. PH stable at 5.8, EC stable at 1.4. Water level still dropping. 09/09 - After much deliberation, I ended up going for a fairly heavy defoliation session and am now going to leave her the hell alone until at least mid flower. I removed a large chunk of shaded leaves and bud sites and effectively ended up lollipopping her. I also removed all the old LST, and added a couple to pull leaves out of the way. The canopy remains largely unchanged, but shes much more airy now, and Im seeing far fewer damp spots where leaf perspiration has occured. Now to see if I can keep my hands off for a few weeks!

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Grand Daddy Purple auto was doing great most the week. In the last day or two her ph jumped up. She is getting more hungry. I flushed her and got the ph back down. I then provided her fresh feed. She did have a few magnesium deficiency spots on her leaves. That should be resolved now. Beside that she made good progress, and is trained and ready for another week. Everything is looking good now. 7 months after planting her from seed the day is finally here. A little earlier than I would of liked due to insects (crickets/grasshoppers eating buds) but she's thereabouts finished. Probably lost 1/3 of buds from the chewing insects but still a big yield and my drying room is full 😊 She survived two rainy season's and some serious wind from a tropical depression back in September. I have kept this grow completely organic so no pesticide or chemical fertilizers used. Apart from heavily amending the soil at the start I mostly fed her crabmeal once a month and seaweed and molasses in most waterings. A few of those waterings were diluted with my urine 😆👌 NPK right!? Why not.. then at the end I added a cultured pro biotic yogurt to the soil 2 days before I harvested. (Tip from a fellow grower @med_in_tropic - thanks bro) Not sure if it made any difference as I cannot compare with another plant but, the plant starting smelling like lemon furniture polish.. like a lemon scent with a fuel undertone. Almost menthol like 🤷‍♂️.. smells amazing. Me and my wife drank tea from the trimming and the citrusy flavour came though into the tea which was nice. Weather wise the temperature is down now to around 16c at night with RH around 50% so the buds should dry much slower than the last harvest so I should get a better flavour profile. Smoke report to follow after she has been in a jar for a week or so.. I did try a bud sample a few weeks back and the taste then was already pleasant so for sure this will be fire... 🔥 Thanks for all the kind comments, this was my first ever grow start to finish. Day 1 - LST mostly. Will start using bloom nutrients this week. And reduce humidity to 60-55% Learnt from my last batch that 24hr light is best,

Today I switched the light to the flowering phase. The light is now on for 12 hours. All plants were fertilized with Hesi Bio Bloom. The Tropical Marker and the Plurple Kush each received 2 liters of water, and the Pink Gelato received 1 liter. I trimmed off some large leaves. I hope they have a smooth transition into flowering. Day 42: The girls are growing well. The Purple Kush and Pink Gelato received 2 liters of water with Hesi Bio Bloom and some Biobizz Calmag today. I dimmed the light to 60%. The Pink Gelato is catching up a bit, but is very small in comparison. Day 43: They're all still growing well. The tropical marker has been given 2 liters of water with hesi bio bloom and biobizz call mag. I've raised the lamp a bit higher. Here you can see how the stems of the plants have developed; the pink gelato has grown like crazy. The humidifier from Spider Farmer does a great job! Day 47: The girls look good; the first signs of flowering are visible on the Tropical Marker and the Purple Kush. I also defoliated them; it was definitely too much, and they thanked me a day later with preaching leaves. Unfortunately, the Pink Gelato didn't tolerate the topping well and only developed one shoot. I then removed this shoot. Afterward, I watered the Tropical and the Purple with 2 liters of water mixed with fertilizer and Calmag at a pH of 6.3. I set the ventilation to 50%.

things have been going a little different from planned since these are now photos and not autos i think i have my tent dialed in to keep the door shut and the temps and rh stabable ish so ive switch the lights to 12/12 i top dressed with 5 tbs of 2-8-4 power bloom with gaia greens and 2 tbs worm casting but instead of just power it directly on the top the plant soil i pre mixed it in a bowl with a couple hand fulls of the gaia green living soil so it mixes in better with the least amount of root disturbance i also set up a scrog net to see how that goes i did contact Canuk seeds via instagram and shared my diary link and they have been more then helpful i cant be happpier with there conustmer service, i found that reaching out through instagram is the fastest way to get ahold of them

D-104 : Last week, I noticed a problem related to the calcium OR to the Ph. I didn't know if it was a deficiency or an excess. So I tried to just wetered girls with the right Ph and A bit more of CalMag 0.8 > 1.2/L. We'll see this week if It was the good choice. fingers corssed !

Super harvest , my best yield with an auto strain and what a stain !! This is an auto that will break you down like a photo periodic strain , maybe less long lasting but clearly equally potent
