Welcome to my Royal Gorilla Diary This grow will join the RQS outdor grow contest at later time, I hope i get lucky and bugs won't eat it. After receiving contest box, i asked about germinating indoors, after confirmation i popped a seed in the soil. Germinated in pot indoors (gift pack was massive! see pics), after germination i put outdoor but i kinda forgot her. This one is growing together with a small tobacco plant to keep some unwanted insects away, i want to add some dill and coriander soon. So our royal gorilla is in her second week already, and she looks pretty healthy. Soil is reused soil with new fertilizers added to the soil. I'using a mixture of dried cow poop pellets and chicken poop pellets to give the soil some renewed power. Most of this is in the top layer of the soil (watering from above) so nutrients can be spread extra during watering. This should be enough for the first 6-7 weeks, so when the buds start to take shape we can start with adding some mineral nutrients in addition to the organic feeding.

La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 3 ejemplares seleccioné los 2 mejores para completar el indoor y trasplanté directamente a macetas de 7 litros, cambien el fotoperiodo a 12/12 y aplique una buena poda de ramas bajas, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color y progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento, están cogiendo ya una tricomada seria. 9/11 Week 22 Looking better seem to have closed the Phos hole in my nuets, in the future pots will be amended with it from the start. 9/13 Weather degrading (heh relative term) plan to harvest Poly on next spat of "good" weather, Zona couple of weeks tops. Poly water only but there is plenty of nuets in that pot. 9/14 No decent sun today at all, high humidity forecast is saying it just gets worse from here (heh like those guys know) but if true I need to harvest poly ahead of it which may mean tomorrow. Decide then see if forecasts change. Next year things will be different damit 9/15 Day 146 of the grow and Poly's last day Weather is entirely the reason for taking her a bit early, wanted to prep her a bit more but thats life in the outdoors. She has a beautiful day for her last, she was never any trouble and grew well, I am glad to have grown her, she is a good girl. So harvest time finally. Only 2 plants at the end but still I am happy with the result. After cutting them I placed them for 4 days inside the dark tent. I struggle a bit with the humidity as the air was really dry. So now its time for curring. I have placed the bud inside jars. Lets wait for a few weeks to have a first try ! 16.4.25: I have retied the fabric ties again, as they're growing like crazy. Trying to open up the plant, to grow out as well as up. This will also create new colas. At this stage, I'm trying not to over fertilise like I did with the last grow. Focusing on Cal-Mag amino acids and Mega Crop Part A. The medium is my custom super soil, which is already fertilised with Ecothrive dry amendments. So I could just add water. However, as we've already run into deficiency, that would be careless. I find it easy to keep an eye on the plants and carefully inspect them daily to act quickly when issues arise. Learning how to determine the issue is what I'm still learning, which is the hard part 😅 It's all fun though, and I'm really enjoying this grow with all the toppings and FIMs. So far so good! 21.4.25: Hope everyone had a great 420! Northern lights is absolutely beautiful, great structure. I'm determining when to relax the LST as we are now in the beginning of week 3 flower. I do have height. However, I'd like to keep it reasonable. You never know when they will stop growing. I'm not really adjusting any ties since the last time, but I have added an LST clips as one of the middle tops was much talker than the others. I am trying very hard to exercise some much necessary self restraint here! 😅 it is becoming increasingly difficult! I have also noticed that there are signs of Nitrogen excess. Maybe 2 leaves have very thin overlapping blades. Instead of Mega Crop Part A and Cal-Mag amino acids, I will use Bud explosion PK booster with the Cal-Mag. This will make the N5 the only Nitrogen being given. It still may be too much, but will monitor closely to see the effect this change will make, if any. Balancing the nutrients is very important for me to learn, and it's going to be an ongoing process. I watered today with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients: ♡ 1/2 Tsp of Bud Explosion PK booster by Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients 23.4.25: Plant seemed to be drinking heavily, so I watered again with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with;- ♡ 2.5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients, and ♡ Ecothrive Biosys 1/8 tsp. I removed the plant ties and retied the plant after watering. Less ties are necessary as the plant has moulded and stayed in that structure. 25.4.25: Northern Lights was much overdue for a retie of the fabric ties. After this session of LST, the plant is absolutely huge. I really could easily fill the tent with just her. The fact that this plant could fill out a 4ft² space absolutely proves that autoflowering strains can outdo photoperiods. This particular strain, as well as my RQS Fat bananas, have been an absolute dream to grow. They take training like they're craving it. 😍 Thanks for checking out my diary and hanging out 😃💚✌️🍃😊

🌿 Woche 4 🌱 Wachstum & Training 🌱 Es war an der Zeit, das Training zu beginnen. 🔧🌱 Der Plan ist, sie so symmetrisch runterzubinden, dass ich die allermeisten Triebe auf einer Höhe habe. 📏 Ich hoffe, dass sie sich nicht zu sehr in die Quere kommen – und alle Triebe wieder schön hochkommen. 🌞🌿 Ein kleiner Bruch ist mir dann doch passiert. 😬✂️ Bin aber guter Dinge, dass das wieder wird. 💪🌱 Hier und da musste auch wieder gut entlaubt werden. 🍃✂️ Ich fahre gerade so etwa 300 PPFD und werde es nur langsam erhöhen. 📉💡 Somit sollten die Triebe immer wieder nach Licht streben – und hochkommen. 🔝🌞 💧 Blumat & Gießen 💧 Ich gieße weiter nach Fahrplan: 🕒 Alle Paar Tage bei 110 mbar 🚿 2 l Wasser ☀️ Wetter 🌞 Kurzzeitig waren die Temperaturen wieder fast normal warm – so 26 °C. 😌🌤️ Aber ging dann wieder Richtung 30 °C und mehr ... 🔥 🎶 The Grow must go on! 🌱🎵

Week 3 started off good but ended horrible. I finally made my first big fu🤬k up. After LSTing on day 19 the next day I tried tighten up the LST and ended up snapping the main stock🤦‍♂️🏾 Forcing me to try and mainline just to save her, so now I’m just hoping for da best. On da positive side at least it happened to one of the freebie seeds from seedsman and not one that I spent a pretty penny for

Hello everyone, 🇬🇷 ...the previous week had a lot of growth and training... Angie has her natural shape, Lucy's been topped and LSTed and Michelle was LSTed...they are growing fast despite the low wattage Leds that they are under as the weather outside is cloudy and will be for days...they don't get any nutes, they have everything they need in their home...this is going to be a long grow,as mother nature will decide when these girls will go to flower... ====================================== WEEK 6:"FIRST AND LAST AND ALWAYS" ☠️Day 36...💧it's sunny and the girls are enjoying it...I watered them today,I changed again the watering pattern...now I give them 1,5 L every 3 days,depending on how dry the substrate is...Today I toped Lucy again on the two new main colas... ☠️Day 38...sunny again and the girls love it...Angie has become a beast,tall and bushy,while the other two are growing side shoots after the LST...I am impressed by GH Feeding... ☠️Day 39...💧watering day...What bothers me is that I will not be on time for the contest...I am growing outdoors and the girls will start flowering on late summer...harvest time will be on October,wee too late for the contest...I have to find a way to force flower them earlier...the problem is I have no dark room for that...its a challenge and I have to find a solution... ☠️Day 40...the girls are stretching more...they need light... ☠️Day 41...the weather here is crazy...sunny in the morning,raining in the afternoon...the girls take about 5-6 hours of direct sunlight... 🌚I decided that from today I will be placing Michelle and Lucy in a dark closet to force them flower.I hope it will work...I will put them inside it at 20:00 and get them out to the sun at 09:00 the next morning...13 hours of darkness will be enough for them to start flowering...Let's see how this goes...It's the only free space I have to do this as I cannot use my tent.There is no light leak in the closet...Angie is too tall to get in there so she will be flowering when nature calls... ☠️Day 42...💧watering day...first day of 11/13 for Lucy and Michelle...the closet they are in is small so I am a bit worried for air circulation...in the morning they seemed fine however... Hello. This is the end of week 12 and the beginning of week 13 of veg. The plants are doing good and smelling like citrus/lemon when I work with them. It will still be another week or 2 before I start flowering. I'll continue with training them till they fill in their spaces. A couple of plants have made it to the edge now, but still have to fill in the spaces. They are getting a gallon of rainwater each 3 to 4 days now. There's lots of compost in each pot (5 gallons per pot) to keep them going for a few more weeks before needing nutrients. In the past, in this greenhouse, I've used my 15 gallon hydro reservoir to give a some nutrient each day, and hand watered when they seem dry. And got great results. So I'll try that method again this year. Give enough nutrient each day for 6 days so the 15 gallon tub lasts 6 days. Then make more nutrient and wash the tub/reservoir on the seventh day. Then fill it up for the next 6 day schedule. I'll do that starting the 2nd week of flowering with flowering nutrient. Just so's you knows. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

French Macaron hit peak purple and trichs are all ready to roll. Chem Brulee smelling amazing and packing on weight. Pineapple Meatball remainders have now started going DEEP purple. Could end up with a few head stash nugs off of this late harvest.

Couple more weeks of feeding then flush. This girl is stacking hard and buds are forming rock solid.

Last week i found some seeds grown in the bids and i released them. Was a bit of work but i think its worth it. I start to give just water for both kush, the haze will get 2 weeks nutrients. Hope that come more seeds. Have a nice week✌️

Day 29: LST is done. 600W LED, 20 hours on 4 hours off the same with ventilation. Insetvrhe lamp approx 36 cm away. Water intake: 75 ml per plant plus triggering, humidity around 60 percent. Fertilization is on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with BioBizz family, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. Critical Orange Punch started flowering se grows very quick. Rest of them are OK as well they are on the way... Day 30: I did LST again. I didn't have enough elastic band yesterday so I bought today and bent them better. I also set the lamp closer approx 32 cm.Day 31: I did LST yesterday and bent them. They already "lifted up" their heads toward the lamp. As they grow I will keep bending the main stalk and the side ones. I will try to create a spiral form and spread the plants with time. Day 32: Almost all of them started flowering except Sour Stomper. Day 35: Auto Critical Orange is the monster here. She is the most developed and tallestbwoth approx 28cm. (Hard to.measure property because of LST). Pre flowers developing nicely along the plants. I changed the lamp as it needed to my other tent because my other lamp is shit. So I will swap them one week here other week there... End of the week the tallest is Critical Orange Punch with approx 28 cm and the shortest Sour Stomper with 14 cm.
