Borked the time tracking on the previous diary weeks, both are still going strong. Grapefruit is developing a lot of new internode fan leaves, but she's too late into bloom now to defoliate etc. and don't want to stress the GG XL either. Latest GG XL photos are in Week 5. Microgreens are also coming up fast. 17/07: Forgot to take Day 42 photos for both girls, my apologies as my wrists have been giving me hell but will get some more up soon. I've been keeping with the same watering schedule, some bud sites are being shaded by fan leaves so I'm trying to VERY carefully bend them down to prop up the little bud sites better. I've rubbed my fingers on some of the fan leaves to get rid of whatever weird white dust is ending up on my leaves, probably just debris from the air and the fan might need a cleaning soon but holy shit my fingers smell strong like Pomegranate and fruits. It's getting quite addictive to smell the bud sites and rub that resin of her fan leaves, I wish I could describe it better but damn it smells good. If the resin is any indication of the final smoke I know that the Grapefruit is gonna be dank. Can't wait till drying + harvest time :)) 18/07: Plucked off some lower burnt leaves that were really old, snipped off two more big fan leaves shading new bud sites and removed the stumps from old leaves rather making those closely cut down stubs instead so no bug invaders can get a free home. :P Humidity has been ridiculously high today >~65% and dropping now in the evening after the rain has stopped to <~60%, I added some Sodium Bicarbonate in plastic jars around the tent to help pull out water from the air. (18/07: Seems to be helping, I'm seeing about a ~2-5% drop overnight and this morning, usually the humidity in the morning before+after rain is ~60-65%) 20/07: The paper ref regarding RH and Bicarb. of Soda: W.-Y. Kuu et al. / International Journal of Pharmaceutics 166 (1998) 167–175 / PII: S0378-5173(98)00049-0 - I don't know how or why but keeping temps at ~21-23C drops the RH down to a stable mid-low 50's range. Thank fuck now I don't have to drop tonnes of money on a huge dehumidifier... Occam's razor baby :) 21/07: Had to move the light, fan, carbon filter and literally everything. Some minor shit for the cover broke on top of the CaCl -RH% and the bicarb got knocked over. Wiped, sprayed down and cleaned out the fan filter as well. What a fucking start to the day... 31/07: GG XL is in Week 7 now, so getting well into flower, growing at an exponential rate and starting to give off a very subtle smell, Grapefruit smells quite noticeable now too. 03/08: GG XL ending week 7, getting massive. ~77-78CM now. Had to defoliate the Grapefruit since leaf miners were still assaulting her, hopefully this helps get more light and airflow into the bud sites, been having humidity issues but can't do much.

finally!!!!! My first growth will be without any fear. Legal!!! I have time until the middle of July to finish with it, then I will go on a long vacation, so I have to catch up:) I haven't decided the time of its vegetation yet, it will be seen how fast it will grow :) but I will try to make this growth better than all of them have been so far:) Beautiful growth buddies :).

Looking good hopefully all will be showing signs of flowering at the end of this week. I'll update a few more times this week.

Everything is going AMAZING! I have started giving her some fox farm big bloom every other feeding. As you can see she's flowering now. The smell is very strong and sweet. Additionally, one set of nodes just split into 2 growth tips as if I had topped it. I've never seen anything like that before. So far I have nothing but good to say about SpliffSeeds!

Received the clones on Sept 5th and planted them in a 1L Airpot filled with Coco Coir, added Dynomyco Mycorrhizal Inoculant Started to irrigate at 900 EC working my way up 100 EC everyday until I reach 1250 EC

Another good week!! I defoliated the smaller of the 2 plants mid-week... I think she is doing very fine. A small hiccup with the feed that same night. Only a few leaves are showing any sign on nutrient burn. I went ahead and fed them again today. I plan on watering them in a day or two... they were very thirsty this afternoon!! So, I definitely need to up the watering. I've still been feeding 3 quarts twice a week. Otherwise, all seems to be going well!! They are frosting up very nicely!! So exciting!! Peace!! Update for grow question: @The8thChevron thanks!!! I pulled them and will hope for the best for now. So close to the finish line. If I see more trouble brewing I will pull the plant. At the moment, my FC 3000 is hard working but she'll be free in 7 days and will be added to these grows. For the moment I'm using a viparspectra at 45cm at 65% intensity. Using Green House Feeding for nutrients, biobizz light mix & all mix. For the moment they only on light mix but on the uppot in 7 or so days I'll add some All Mix. Every 2 weeks I'll add 1g/1L of Bioenhancer, and that's it. Real easy, will give me more time to work on the girls as they grow and not worry about what needs what, just water and go, depending I get the mixes right. Week 1, seedling day 3. All the girls done in Rock Wool showed roots down the end of the wool, all but 2, I could see in the hole that she was strangling herself, I carefully cut the wool in half, still no roots, so, I went in, and I'm glad I did. As you can see, she literally cut her own roots, it was dangling and came off with ease. Using gloves I held the stem over the 3/4 full wet pot of substrate. Made a small hole in the middle and placed the roots in it and held the stem and folded the dry soil around the stem making it secure. Now, there's no need to wet the top, (as the roots were in the base I made that was wet, so there is no wet soil around the stem. (I'm only thinking of it now, I have clonex gel that would of rapidly increased root growth and helped take some risk out of her not been able to make it) After a few days when I know she's out of danger I'll spray the top of the substrate to activate the nutrients and hopefully get some good mycelium/fungus going. I had a feeling this would happen, it happens a lot in soil but we don't notice it, and if I was using synthetic nutrients she more then likely would of grown out of the rock wool but as the roots need to be touching the soil as that's where the nutrients are it would of struggled. So needed to be done. Next few days will be do or die for this gal. She was stressed a lot and lost half of her tap. Let's see.(update below) Seedling D 3 was when she was uprooted from Rock wool and transplanted with cut roots, D5 you can see her, 1 of her cotyledons has turned pale, so she did struggle to find her footing, but she is doing well. The other WatermZXVelvet moon that was was done with rockwool is in much better shape, have a look. The nutrients are mixed into the soil and you just water every time she needs it, the bioenhacer needs to be given once every 2 weeks. I mixed 3g/1L of substrate. As she gets older when I uppot her I'll add extra powder per/L of sub and I'll also be introducing some biobizz all mix. I just want to get going on some good fungus action and if I added some all mix I wouldn't of been able to add enough powder to get mycelium/fungus going, this is healthy and good. You'll see it when you use root stims, it'll make stuff fuzzy, mycelium. Good fungus that will decay with organic matter and make for a good bacteria ground for your gals. Seedling Day 5 We have fungus lift off, she out of the woods after Harsh transplant if you haven't read about above. Seedling Day 5-7 Okay steady normal growth. I can just see the next set of nodes to up come. So she's on track for normal growth. Her sister though, is miles ahead. 2moro is a new week, so now that the RH/TEMPERATURE is dialed in I'm hoping I'll see explosive growth. Day 15: 3 nodes now visible on both plants. Day 16: Lights lowered. Canopy now at 20000 lux. At 22" from the canopy, my light is hanging lower than recommended by HLG but I am using a lux meter to ensure the amount of light isn't too much for my plants. I'm at home almost all day almost everyday so it's the perfect time for daily lowering of the lights and monitoring carefully. Day 17: Lowered light to increase LUX readings by another 50%. Canopy now at 30000LUX. One more lowering should bring us into optimal amount of light. Noticed a slight amount of curling on leaves last night so upped the ProCal just slightly. I make my mix using pre dosed calmag & potassium silicate water. I adjusted the final EC with this water to ensure calmag levels remain high enough to prevent the coco from "stealing" it in its own cation exchange points. Ended up adding Green Planet GPH Uptake to the lineup today for the PM feeding. Will continue at recommended dosage going forward. Also picked a foliar calmag. Made a foliar spray with recommended dose of GP Ocean Magic as well; adjusted pH to appropriate level. Did one application then ditched the Ocean Magic as you're only to use this as a foliar once weekly. Made calmag foliar spray and am now regularly using this in my mister. This will allow me to adjust with plain water as to keep the EC down and my nutrient mix stronger. Also had a revelation! Root Guard and GPH Uptake have very minimal impact on EC so therefore can be added after dilution as to insure a full dose of each of these are being applied at each feeding. Day 18: Ladies doing so great now in veg phase of growth. Calmag and Ocean Magic foliar application yesterday and continued Calmag applications throughout the day seem to have really given them a boost. Adding GPH Uptake seems to be a great addition to the lineup. It will take a few more days to truly notice the results.Looking like only a few more days until the Lamb's Breath sees its first round of LST. Noticing a bit of leaf curl on both plants. I have been fertigating with a litre of solution twice daily. I am going to reduce to once daily for at least today. Will try for smaller feeding tomorrow morning and see if I can still achieve the required 10-20% runoff with an EC no higher than 300 points more than inflow. Ceasing foliar calmag applications until plant stops showing signs of oxygen deficiencies, especially the Blue Diesel. Added a Wyze cam to the setup which is awesome. I can check the ladies all the time with out opening up and disturbing their environment. (THIS IS THE POINT WHERE LIGHT BURN WAS FIRST VISIBLE BUT I WASN'T AWARE!) Day 19: EC rose dramatically as i skipped evening fertigation (Day 18). This is NOT a recommended course of action. I was trying to adjust for what looks like oxygen deprivation to the root system of the Blue Diesel (IT WAS ACTUALLY TOO MUCH LIGHT!). I think this plant is lagging behind the Lamb's Breath a bit due to being bleached (TOO MUCH LIGHT!). I believe this may be the root problem (hahahaha!) and why it is a bit behind the Lamb's Breath. Droopy leaves are usually indicative of an over saturation of water in your media. I will fertigate 3 times today to correct EC issues. Still keeping EC to just under 1000 microsiemens. Reducing volume of solution given to the Blue Diesel by half. Day 20: Started LST on the Lamb's Breath. Slowly raising EC back up to ~1000 for the Blue Dream. Lowered the light by about an inch and shuffled the plants just a bit to get optimal light saturation. Everything chugging along at this point now. Day 21 & 22: Soooo I lowered my light too much. Started noticing signs of light burn on the LB. Watched some videos, read some articles then found my manufacturer's recommended hanging height. This HLG 100 V2 should be at 24" for veg stage. So thats where it got put back up to. Measured 20000LUX on the meter still which is within optimal range. I'm sure with the light up higher, the penetration to the lower canopy will be better due to the reflective walls of the tent. I removed the first pipe cleaner of LST on the LB to let it grow up toward the light a bit more. The one day of being tied down has had a dramatic effect on the production of branches lower down. I'll (probably) let it ride out for this week to allow unfettered growth before starting to tie down new branches. Days 23-26: Everything rolling. Figured out optimal EC is around 800 for inflow for both plants. Thinking this may be the optimal inflow EC for the Green Planet Line. Decided to pick up an HLG 65 V2 4000K light as well as an HLG 135w RSpec. Both are KILLER lights for sure. The 65 has really helped in veg phase. I would highly recommend it! Optimal light hanging height ended up being around 24" for the 65 which is manufacturers recommended height. Can't wait to see what the 135w fixture can do. Day 27: Switched lights to the HLG 135w RSpec today. Lowered light down to 90 watts so the lights aren't too much of a change from one day to the next. They are about 50% brighter than the HLG 65 V2 4000K when hung up to the maximum height my tent will allow. It looks to be a sweet light and the plants are getting new hues of green showing almost immediately.

Started some very mild LST... I know I'm probably a worry wart but these are my first time babies hahaha seems more even though

Despite her flaws due to my own fault she was giving me a real cheese smell but now the wedding cake comes through and sweetens it up. She smells amazing

New week and this means official flowering for the girl, stretching, preflowers, pistils and a big smile after some 9 weeks of vegetation and mainline formation. I believe this is a very promising strain very sturdy, never seen any slowing of growth after any cutting or stress low or high and hoping for some big fat frosty colas with the new addition of more missing nutes such as Silica, voodoo juice and sensizym as I believe roots are very important too and I saw immediate results when I added those missing elements to my other autoflowering plants which apparently stopped drooping just before lights off and just from day 2 and never saw them droop since...check other diary... Peace
