Die Ladys sind jetzt ordentlich am wachsen

This past week was lovely with her growth...I decided to set her in flower mode from today i.e no more extra hours of solar light from this week. Looking for her to flower from next week with all the darkness.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2201 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today the tap root on one of the seeds was about 1/4 to 3/8" so at 11 am I transferred it into a Jiffy Peat Pellet that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened ...calling the #2 a 'fail to germinate' and I'm not going to soak another... We'll let it ride with just one of this tester. 😉👍 12/5- Well this is Day ONE for the #1 FBT #2201! I'll keep her in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see her roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer her gently into her 4g Gronest fabric pot from FastBuds. 12/7- Yesterday I checked her, she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so tomorrow I'll transfer her into her 4g Gronest pot. 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Flower is in full Mode

Shes continuing to fatten up. Trichomes are looking mostly cloudy with some ambers so I will start her final flush this week. We’ll see how much more she’ll swell in the next 10-14 days.

First week of just water no issues so far!

Belle couleur gorilla sherbet#1 sens très fort.

86 days from seed in soil until chopped. Roughly 40g dry weight. I ended up pressing most of it into Live rosin, however I kept some in flower form to smoke. Personally, I'm not big into the scent or smell of this strain, but it stays true to it's sativa roots and everyone who has tried it has really enjoyed it. I'm not a big fan of this strain, purely based off the fact that my nose doesn't like the smell of this plant. It smells like chicked-peas (the stuff hummus is made from). It's very odd I know. However every one who has smoked it, including myself has enjoyed it. But if I'm picking and choosing, then this one would be near the bottom. I ended up turning a vast majority into live rosin and it is much, much better. Amazing for listening to music and cleaning the house👌

Onto the next week of flower. Going on a short trip away for 2 days from 17-19th, so the reservoirs will be full before we leave. Got back to more growth and had to raise the light up. Ladies looking great and getting big. We are a few days before lollipop so the tent is a bit humid but not bad. It will be easier to keep VPD at 1.2 after day 50 or so when some of that unneeded growth is out of there. Lollipop done on 21st and 22nd. Next on 23rd to finish up. Things are getting frosty with the CropSalt Bloom nutrients. Ladies didn't mind the haircut one bit Buds are starting to swell!

This week the plant was bended, and accidentally i broke a branch ... But she recovered well, she selected the other branches to grow just like in 2 h nothing could be done, but as you can see she is concentrating the growth in the other colas, so the structure is bended against the pot and with 3 main branches at the moment... Another little problem appeared when, 2 days after using Green Explosion in a half dose, i raised the Top Veg to 2.5 ml/l but she reacted bad and some overfertilization spots are apperaing in the tips of the leaves, im uploading it when the next week is complete... But dont worry is not too much overdose, just a little, (Its like she said thats the limit at the moment ) so after this, next 2 irrigations are being done with plain water to flush the soil... Im not using Micro Vita, but i gotta get that magic microbes to avoid this messy things, they muffle all this changes in PH !!! So next week, transplanting to definitive text pot, bacterian life and until the end :) But everything is fine this plant is soo strong and nothing cant stop her at the moment :D Take care GD !!

(Flush) Today i checked the trichomes and they are all milky. I will remove all the large fanleaves and i will let them stay in the dark for 48 hours before i will chop them down. 30-1 First day of darkness. Temperature: 27.9 degrees (lights on) 18.8 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 48% (lowest) 31-1 Second day of darkness. Temperature: 24.5 degrees (lights on) 19.5 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 50% (lowest)
