Overdrive next week

Nuggets are starting to get frosty and ripe. If it was inside I'd keep flowering them for another 2-3 weeks but since it's outside and there is mold, so I'm probably harvesting after one week or 10 from day 71 max. Suprised how fast they progress. Really good smelling ganja. Theres hint of berries and fruit. Have to say I am really suprised by the potency of the smoke already. Such a joy to experience this.

So this final week the buds on this Orange Hill Special are filling out. They are getting rock solid and the calyxes are doing their final swelling. Also, the trichomes have started forming and up close, they are forming a white sticky film over the whole bud. The buds feel heavy and compact, although their size could have been bigger but not complaining with this amount of bud. I have just been feeding some perma tea and clean water since this soil is probably very high in nutes by now. I had some brown leaf points so just adjusted and all was fine. Now we go into the final one or two weeks. I did some final defoliation to expose some underside buds, they are swelling too. Removed some sticky underside larf, kept it in a box to gradually dry for a preliminary taste test coming days. Loving the steady growth !! Fimmed and bottom branches tied down . Another week/ten days and I reckon she’ll start flowering.

So she really stretched super hard when she geared up for bloom. Over night she hit me with 6 inches of growth. Leaving my grow light far to close for the fragile new growth that was coming in. It was a lot worse mid grow week last week. I re adjusted my lighting SMH. Her tips slightly recovered but They will never fully recover. Other than that... shes stack amazing. Super bushy and LOTS of budsites. Bunch of donkey dock cola candidates. If I can stop beating em up with light intensity. She spans the full 2x2 like a beast. What an autoflower. I preventative treated her again with Dr zhymes. Shes due for another shower mid week. Got her on a solid balanced feed. I will adjust levels as needed from here. Until next update. Day 29 Wed 12/14/22-Watered today and FIMed plant 3, so now plant 1 has been topped and is getting LST and plant 3 has been FIMed. Plan2 has only been pruned, so now I'll be able to see the difference of these 3 methods. Day 30 Thurs 12/15/22-Just watered today. Day 31 Fri 12/16/22-Feeding day. Added .5 tsp recharge & 4 ml cal-mag to 1 gal water, reduced pH to 6.2, then divided equally, with one quart for each plant, watering-in 1.5 tsp Dr Earth fertilizer mixed with 1/3 c worm castings and 1 c coco coir. Day 32 Sat 12/17/22-Auto watered today with globes because we were out of town for Christmas with my family. Day 33 Sun 12/18/22-Just watered today and did some pruning close to the main stem on lower branches. Day 34 Mon 12/19/22-Just watered today Day 35 Tues 12/20/22-Just watered today

Started the week with a plastic dome to help with humidity, and after six days the dome was not needed anymore. The seedling outgrew the dome. I keep the watering very light during the seedling stage to make sure there isn’t any overwatering. I take my photos about 24 hours apart

Smells beautiful really can’t wait to crop her only 7 days left now this has been such a nice plant to grow she takes to topping very well and micro topping well and I now know where the name shinning silver haze comes from as she shines with thc proper happy with her

Second week of flower and I defoliated again. There are small bud sites starting to form at the end of week two flower. The apple fritter has fascination which is making the stems grow interestingly with lots of bud sites.

Day 1 - 03/31/2022 Hello, World! 34th Street AK-47 Autoflower from OCS.ca germinated in 1 day after placing seeds in the freezer over night before planting. This was my 3rd attempt and the freezing method seemed to have done the trick! Sprouted on day 4. I placed the seed in the Aerogarden sponge pod and didn’t press it down too much. When the tap root started, it had nothing to grip onto, so I solved this by cutting a small portion of another sponge and placed it above the seed securing it in place with a loose “lid” on top so the sprout could easily push through. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 3 - 04/02/2022 Hygrometer is in. Was drier than a popcorns fart in the closet so I got the humidifier going and it’s looking good. Went from 22% to 38% humidity in ~1 hour. pH, water temp and EC/PPM all seemed high so I added ~0.5 mL of pH Down that brought the levels to 5.4 (too low). I added ~2 cups of Brita filtered water (water was getting low anyway) before I went to bed from the fridge that helped raise the pH, lower the EC/PPM, and the temp by a few degrees as well. In an attempt to cool the water down a bit over night, I took the “cap” off of the Aerogarden reservoir to let the water ‘breath’ while the light was off between 2 am and 6 am – that did not work... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 4 - 04/03/2022 Water temp remains high at around 28 c. I replaced about 1/3 of the tank with new water and added ~1ml of Miracle Grow. Didn't effect the water temp at all. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 6 - 04/05/2022 Levels appear the same. Tomorrow I’ll change the water out and start adding FloraMicro, FloraGrow and FloraBloom with some CaliMagic. Might pick up some Root inoculate of sorts or at least some preventative root rot formula – better safe than sorry. I’ll have to start seriously taking care of the water temp as well. Having it always around the 30 degree mark is not good. On a side note, I inadvertently found a great way to bump up humidity and air temp quickly: add boiling/hot water to the humidifier. My humidifier ran out of water over night while I was asleep. At 6:30 am I was lucky enough to notice since the humidifier rattles when empty. Humidity was down to 38% at that point. I went back to bed, woke up at 8:30 and it was down to 28%. As luck would have it, there was some left over boiling water on the stove in a kettle and I needed something easy to pour with. I checked back 30 minutes later and the air humidity/temp was up to 60% / 30 C respectively. Perfect conditions for our little lady to get big and strong. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 7 - 04/06/2022 First water exchange went smoothly. This was also the first time I added nutrients other than the NutriGrow formula. I mixed everything together in 16 cups of water. NOTE TO SELF: 16 cups is not enough for 1.1 gallons! I had to add another 5 cups of water/nutrients to get the water volume right. I added a bit of NutriGrow only in the last 5 cups with ~1mL of pH down (didn’t measure; kept applying in small doses until pH was around 6). 15 hrs 31 mins daylight as of today Everyone is settling in well after the transplant last week, they seem very happy are are definitely shooting up. I removed the support hoops for the row cover because the Blueberry has grown above it. Speaking of, it is the only Blueberry because the other 2 went to live with my friend. She's about to start another round of chemo pills, which she told me she has to do for the next 5 years😩 It's terrible, and I wish I could do more for her. Not much to report this week as this girl is very happy. Unfortunately it seems there's some technical issues here on GD. The past couple weeks my diaries haven't been updating properly, and the 2 diaries I started last week for my autos are missing. They don't show up under my "Diaries" tab, which says there's 17 but only shows 15. I also tried searching for the 2 missing diaries by strain and by diary name, and couldn't locate them. Anybody else having issues? Update 6/26- I totally forgot to add that on Monday the garden got a spraying of horn manure. Horn manure is a biodynamic preparation of cow manure that's been fermented in a buried horn. This results in a material that's teeming with beneficial flora and fauna for the soil. Ideally it would be sprayed prior to planting in the spring as it encourages healthy root growth. I purchased the pre-potenized so that I only had to spend 20 mins stirring rather than an entire hour. That would have been brutal😵 I sprayed it at night when the earth is breathing in and used a spruce bough to sprinkle it over the plants in the garden. The extra icing on the cake was that there was a rain the day before, and another the day after I sprayed so it was well watered in.

The trichomes on the Runtz are all milky and I'm getting some amber on the sugar leaves, I think the end is near 😁 The G13 is looking great and smelling wonderful, the buds are getting heavier and same for the GDP
