As the soil had settled after a few weeks, the pots were filled with fresh soil. -16.02.2025 Today is the last day of the third week of vegetation. Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. After exfoliation, leaf spot has virtually disappeared and main cola has really put on weight. Flowers are also growing much more densely than with my dwc grow but the blueberry pine diesel smell isn't there this time around. I have also been fertilizing quite high this week, double strength because soil gets completely dry in under 24hrs and I'm not seeing any lockout or toxic signs. 9/15 Started flushing despite last dwc with Jack grow went 12 weeks. Bud was potent but lacked odor.

She was getting a little pale so I added a bunch on nutes last week to see if it would help. Doesn't seem like it did so I tested the pH and it was pretty high. Added some pH Down this week and got the pH down to 6. She got a good dose of nutes after that. We will see how the week goes. Hopefully next week she'll be a lot happier. 💚

Last week of flowering (72days from the light switch) Gonna cut soon when the dirt is dry. A quite late harvest. Many buds denser more, and stem can’t longer resist. This season so satisfy. It began flowering but it looks like this process is going to be slow, i am hoping to harvest at the end of july. I have made so many mistakes that im as bit worried.

This lady is getting real big, i wish i had induce her to flower 1 week before, but shit happens :) HST to deal with it :P Never had a Blue Dream Pheno with so many sativa %, I'm sorry about the quality of pics and videos but my phone sucks, i promisse some good bud porn with better quality for the next weeks :p

Big troubles with LST, I managed to broke two colas, the first one recuperated but the socond one I had to remove. So strange for me why are they so fragile and not flexible. I need to wait more time before switching to 12/12 to get her away from stress.

Week 18 for Gelato 41 by seedstockers She's just becoming a monster... i know i went through a period of barely feeding her... well this week she's been fed 5-7L of water plus heavy heavy sprays every night😂 so a bit of a change up she doesn't seem phased either way. Im a little worried when it comes to flowering because she barely/never gets wind & her branches aren't very strong. Which is one of the reasons I spray them heavy every evening to build some strength. She also needs a nice defoliation again to keep PM away + also need to start thinking about giving her flower dry amendments top feed because i think she's partly going into flower because of the shade.

Hey guys welkome back in week 14 this will be the last week of flowering, yesterday i gave the last part of nutrients and ill start flushing and continue doing till next week monday that will be harvest day, Im very excited!! After cutting them down ill at least let them dry for a week and after that week il put the buds in glass jars for 2 weeks (at least 2 week without me smoking it...) As soon the buds go in the jar the NL X Haze will be put in to flower for atleast 8 weeks or so. After that ill cut clones from the “leftover” NL X Haze for outdoor growing. Thats it, see you guys at the harvest next week!!

This girl is coming along really nicely I'm really pleased with how she had turned out for my first ever grow. I have noticed this week she is starting to get a lot more of purple colour to her stem and branches she looks amazing. Her buds are are looking really frosty and are nicely dense I can't wait to try them! This week I have started the full flush by doing a full reservoir change to just water at ph 6.2 - 6.5 and will continue to add just water untill harvest. Happy growing 🌱

This week has been really hard. Until this week the electricity was turned off on average once every two days, for 4 hours in the evening peak time. But the last 7 days the electricity is turned off twice or thrice a day also for 4 hours. I think that in this case it is better to reduce the light day and slowly started to reduce it at the beginning of flowering, and already reduced it from 18 to 16 hours, and that was a bad idea (((: The temperature outside was already around 30 degrees in the shade, and it rained almost every evening, as a result, the air humidity up to 65-70% so it was impossible to leave the girls in a closed box without a working fan. I had to cover the windows and work with my hands waving a piece of cardboard)))), adding back 30 minutes of evening sun outside the window each day. Same story since morning, but this more positive, we meet the morning sun, and move around the whole apartment behind the light frame of the window, running away from the shadow))) the main thing is that the morning is sunny, because will have to continue working with a piece of cardboard until the light is turned on (((: Also, as you can see in the first photo, I installed a large fan and removed the lower wall of the box, because the ventilation system did not help ((: Looks crazy but I already like it, new challenges and new experiences all the time, big plus a good habit to wake up at dawn! So no matter what, we are happy and breathe deeper 🙏
