Finalmente el día de cosecha, la producción no fue de las más abundantes pero suficiente para mi consumo personal, bastante entretenido el cultivo en DWC, lo repetiré en mi siguiente cultivo pero con una semilla automática.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Week 1 Dance Monkey Week 2 Gotye Week 3 AC/DC Week 4 INXS Week 5 Dire straits Week 6 Yothu yindi and Midnight oil Week 7 Divinyls Week 8 Was Request week where I asked growers to pick and because only 3 growers put in a request I decided to choose all three which were Kylie Minogue , Flume & Airbourne Week 9 Paul Kelly Week 10 Daddy Cool Week 11 Cold chisel Week 12 Jimmy Barnes Week 13 The Angels Week 14 Crowded House Hoodoo gurus Mental as Anything Week 15 Empire of the sun Big Pig , Silverchair , Peking duk Grinspoon , Hilltop hoods and the White stripes And Finally for the last lot of music videos I have chosen another multi list bonanza of Aussie Music with the artist/s name and Youtube link below. So in no particular order here are my last choices for this Diary its been a fun grow with a steep learning curve. John Williamson True Blue https://youtu.be/ceWKrsJX9N4 Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue Where the wild roses grow https://youtu.be/lDpnjE1LUvE John Farnham Your the Voice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbkOZTSvrHs Powderfinger Pick you up https://youtu.be/4Ha-dtNXTM8 Slim Dusty Pub with no beer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8E0aZ387M_I Men At Work Down Under https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfR9iY5y94s Icehouse Great southern land https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mkidP2OUCk Before I go I'd like to thank all of you who read & like my diary updateseach week you are all awesome!! Week 4 Looking healthy, transplanted to 5gal pot, added recharge to the soil and root ball. Considering that transplanting stresses her out, I’ll defoliate and spread her out week 5. Happy growing!

Still just a waiting on the light shift, lol. This is what's left, Black Widow! My neighbor took the Banner and botched it. The Skywalker in the ground died. This is all that's left, lol. I hope it turns out decent! I been cultivating, with my wife, some Early Miss, Wedding Cake, Gelato, Fucking Incredible. We've harvested 1 early miss, 1 wedding cake, and 1 gelato so far. We have 1 fucking incredible coming down in a few weeks and waiting on 4 more early miss, 1 gelato, 2 fucking incredible, and 1 wedding cake. Obviously plus the widow.

Mexican Airlines is starting to fatten up nicely. I'm still quite impressed by the amount of great looking bud sites. Also, the dominant cola seems to be coming from what would have been the lowest branch if she was not bent over. Very interesting, to me at least. Feeding her with Recharge and Big Bloom, she seems to like it. 👍

Seguimos creciendo fuerte!💪

Day 92: Moved the lights to a different hanging formation to get a few more inches up, was at 16" distance in most areas. I probably only have one more trick up my sleeve to get another inch or two if I need it. Video to give a full view. Day 93: Fed with 1Gal of purified water, 6.65 Ph. Day 94: Seems to be filling out, both leaves yet again, and buds now too. Day 95: Power outage yesterday about 3hrs before typical lights out. Battery backup to the timer function in the power strip is probably dead or jostled out of place. It wasn't notice until it had been off for 90 mins, so we choose to leave the light off for the rest of the day as I didn't want to stress anything out by having the lights off for 90m on for 90m and then off again for 12h. Day 96: Well I certainly understand the fruity smell growers referenced. Shout out to RockyRidger for the heads up - the smell is pervasive in the room even with the carbon filter in the tent. Wonderfully fruity and less musky, a bit diesel or citrus if you really get in there. I did another short round of defoliation, much less and more cautious than before. She has little crystals everywhere (better seen in white light tomorrow) near the buds and pistils. I can't seem to get the stickiness off my hands now and I've washed them three times with degreasing soap! Pics in the red spec as I kept just red on for 5 mins longer than normal as I finished up and fed her and wanted to get at least a pic or two in for today. Fed with 1Gal purified water. 2tsp FFBB, 1tsp FFGB, 1.5tsp FFTB, 2ml AN B-52. 6.71pH / 825ppm in, 6.52pH / 1200 ppm out. Day 97: Better shots of some of the glitter we've got going on. Day 98: 🎶 ooo, that smell 🎶 (Day 28 Flowering)

We’re in the second week of flowering, and the plants are really starting to stretch! 🌿 They’ve gained good height, especially the one without LST, which has grown tall very quickly. It’s been exciting to watch them reach upward as they prepare for the bud development phase. Everything is looking good overall, and I’m happy with the progress so far. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the buds will start forming in the next few weeks! 😁✨

30.06.25 Now it's clear that both plants are in flower mode. The Amnesia is behaving as I wished and developing buds after reaching 1m in hight. The Lemon Kix will remain the short bud on a stick I hoped to avoid by replacing the cream cookies. They received some of the fertilizer Tea their photo companions got, but not much.

They really took off I was doubting the size of em a few weeks ago 😁 Really struggling with RH tho, not done much defoliation, didn't wanna upset em had herms the last 2 runs so treading lightly. A fair bit of air movement in there hoping that'll keep mold away 🤞

Week 2 Flower – Gelonade Run (Week 6 from Seed) The Gelonade girls are stepping gracefully into flower, evolving beautifully despite a very busy week on my end. Fewer photos this round, but I did capture a full-room video and some detailed shots of their stunning leaves, because even if time is short, the magic in the tent keeps on shining. Growth & Morphology Both phenos are showing their character. Gelonade #1 is vigorous and balanced, while Gelonade #2 is still carrying that special leaf mutation we talked about, leaves that open like a hand folding back into itself. I couldn’t resist photographing them again. They’re not just leaves, they’re little works of art. This week also saw the first defoliation of some of those big solar panels, just enough to keep airflow moving while still letting the girls power themselves. They took it in stride, no stress, only progression. Nutrient Program – Experiment in Motion The recipe shifted this week as we build momentum into flower. Start Booster is now replaced by Top Booster, and alongside Aptus staples (Regulator + CalMag Boost), I introduced a Plagron trio at 1 ml/L each: • Power Buds – to push flower initiation • Sugar Royal – to stimulate metabolism and resin potential • Green Sensation – a trusted all-in-one bloom enhancer The All-In-One Liquid remains on pause since the super soil and pellets are still carrying base NPK. Improvising? Yes. But with intention. I’ve had excellent results before with Plagron, and now I’m curious to see how their boosters synergize with Aptus. Environmental Conditions Temperatures are running a bit high (peaking at 34°C on hot days) and humidity has reached 60–70% at times. That pushes VPD to around 1.89 – not textbook perfect, but the Gelonades are adapting with grace. The TrolMaster WCS Substrate Sensor has been a game-changer here: it gives me live readouts of soil EC, moisture, and balance, all piped into the Tent-X brain. Watering is happening when moisture drops around 19–20%, promoting healthy wet/dry cycles and deeper root activity. Lighting & Room Setup The room is alive with tech. • Future of Grow Black Series 600 • ThinkGrow Model 1s • Lumatek Zeus 465w Compact Pro (newly added!) All tied into the TrolMaster ecosystem, letting me control light, extraction, sensors, and environment as one living system. Air exchange is handled by dual 6-inch extractors with carbon filters, plus a 6-inch intake, keeping fresh air circulating and smells contained. Looking Back, Looking Forward From a seed to now the Gelonades have been nothing but joy. Strong roots, vigorous structure, and personalities shining through. Flower initiation is just beginning, so no dramatic bud sites yet, but the stretch and structural shift are in full swing. Next week, I expect clear signs of pre-flowers stacking in. And because life in the garden always connects back to nature: this week I also captured a photo of a bee pollinating a flower outdoors. Bees are the true keepers of fertility on Earth, and just like them, we as growers are here to assist life in expressing itself fully. A little fairytale touch to remind us: without bees, there would be no Gelonade. ⸻ Plant Stats – Week 2 Flower / Week 6 from Seed • Height: ~50 cm • Temperature: 28–34°C • Humidity: 50–70% • VPD: ~1.89 kPa • EC: 0.6 • pH: 6.1 • Light: PPFD range 700–800 µmol/m²/s ⸻ ✨ The Gelonades are thriving. The leaves tell their own stories, the room hums with technology, and flower season is officially underway.
