Great week of overall growth: Branches getting a good stretch over sun leaves canopy. Pistil growth has kicked in with branches having many nodes. The canopy now takes up the diameter of the grow chamber. I tweaked the solution because leaves were growing light green and after a week of new solution mix they seem to have taken to it. Have been playing Fugazi and Nirvana on interior speaker and also raised the light 6". They also have a beautiful scent and I am wondering if the chamber will still handle covering the smell. The living room is right above my basement grow room and you could always smell it in the past but I had no problems the last to times because I used the ABLE Grow Chamber and the plants were small. The plants from this grow are twice the size I was able to achieve in my last two grow due to the upgraded COB LED and the CO2. I water them in the morning with .5L of solution and another L when I get home from work. Will keep this watering schedule till time to flush. Have counted 20 mini colas from two plants. Will defolite one final time today to clear sun leaves that are shadowing potential bud growth.

Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. Apex is frosting up nicely and her smell is popping, closest I can get to describing it is like cleaning products from a real fancy hotel…but lots of fan leaves are showing signs of deficiencies and/or lockout cuz she’s root bound really bad. Buds and sugar leaves aren’t affected, so far so good, I hope they stay that way 🤞 Gelato is fattening up real nice and has that distinct pungent aroma but not as strong as apex and not a lot of trichs. I hear this strain starts picking up in week 7+…although she’s root bound too but not as bad (I think). Lights are at 80%…they’re fricken beasts and way too much power for such a short, tiny tent. Next grow will be same strains, bigger final pots and will be in a new tent that is 6” (15cm) taller, every little bit helps :) That’s it for this week. Thanks for stopping by. 😎Week 3 8/2- Here we go into week three and I'm looking to see some explosive growth happening in the tent soon!😃 The girls are all running 2 1/2" to 4" in height with the Seedsman Gelato OG's and FastBuds Purple Lemonade currently kicking all the others butts!💪 Gave a good watering this morning 2hrs after lights on with non-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.4. I plan on maintaining that watering schedule from here on out. I refilled the humidifier with non-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.5. Love the new setup with the two HLG quantum boards, 4 plants per light, and currently running at 400w per light. I'm looking forward to some record yields with this new setup using these 650R's! Temp's/RH/VPD are where they need to be at this point with daytime temp's maxing @ 83 Deg F/ nighttime @ 68 Deg F, RH @ 55%, VPD @ 9.0😀 8/3- Started compost tea last night, ingredients were; 5g de-clorinated 7.0ph water & 5tbsp unsulfured molasses, 4 cups worm castings, 1 cup alfalfa meal, 1 cup kelp meal, 2tbsp bat guano, 1 scoop Great White mycorrhiza and 3tbsp Neptunes Harvest seaweed extract which were added after the air was turned on and the 'bag' was in the bucket. I fimmed the FastBuds Purple Lemonade #2 and Seedsman Gelato OG #1, LST'd the FastBuds Crystal Meth #1 & #2, and the Seedsman Zkittles #1. Whilst doing all that I noticed my old friends the fungus gnats so I immediately placed sticky traps in all pots....little bastards! I went online and ordered Nematoads who will have a field day with the gnats! The girls all got watered in from the top and bottom with de-chlorinated straight water ph'd to 6.6 @ 76deg 225ppm, lights still @ 36" above the soil and running @ 400w each.😎 8/4- Gave the girls compost tea for breakfast. The tea had brewed for 38hrs., had 854ppm and ph'd @ 7.1...PERFECT! I split 4g of the tea between the eight ladies @ 1/2 gallon each. I also topped the FastBuds Crystal Meth #2 and Seedsman Gelato OG #2 and checked and adjusted LST on all. Temp's, RH, and VPD all on point with the girls are showing it! 8/5- Soil felt moist so skipping water today and will feed early AM. All the ladies have taken on a deeper shade of green and are really starting to take off since receiving the compost tea yesterday and they'll be going crazy by the end of this week going into week four. The FastBuds Crystal Meth #1 & #2 are both showing early flowering signs already and are starting to get some purple coloration in new growth which looks natural, not a deficiency. I topped the FastBuds Purple Lemonade #1 and Seedsman Zkittles #1 and checked/adjusted LST on all. 8/6- Gave a good watering this morning with 4g of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8, went through, and tucked leaves on all the girls to keep exposing lower bud sites to the light so that we have a nice even canopy for flower! All the girls have either been topped, fimmed or LST'd at this point and all I'll be doing from here on out is tucking leaves and possibly some very minor defoliation if needed, 8/7- All the girls look very happy this morning and are starting to get ready for that stretch at the beginning of flower. The FastBuds Crystal Meth's are the shortest, along with the Seedsman Zkittles #1 and the CM's are already showing pistils but I'm not declaring that they're in 'flower' quite yet. 8/8- Gave all the ladies a good water in this morning with .5g each of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.9 @ 76deg. Went over all the girls and tucked shade leaves to expose bud sites, removed a couple of the ones that couldn't be tucked, and were blocking numerous bud sites. I also continued with LST on all bending branches outward to expose them to more of that HLG 650R goodness!

All fine. Start add terra bloom and green sensation. Defoliating.

Starting 3rd week , we should know soon if im lucky and my strong looking plants are females! Fingers crosed! 2 out of 4 are looking good one is a slow grower and the other one is all mesed up , i guess the rooting process did not go well for this one ☝️

At long last, the trimming has finally ended. This diary was started late in her life but the age of her was accurate at the time. We had many outdoor issues with her, some normal and some not so normal. For starters, the mildew was expected with this strain but we grew it anyway and we fought it all season long but in the end she came out of the wash looking pretty clean. It is possible that this could have to do with the fact that the raccoons had a swim in our little pool and upon leaving they tore it. This of course flooded some parts of our yard and this girl soaked up the most of it, she bleached quite a bit but she seemed to recover slowly over the following 5 weeks. Bud rot was not at all an issue and the final months of the outdoor growing season were spectacularly beautiful, most of our trimming took place in the sunshine this year. Please note- there was no time for weighing in nor is it a concern for us.

Temp, Humidity & VPD are all controlled by a Mycodo System to reach a VPD Range of 0.5 - 0.7. Light is at its lowest setting 04.04. I started to add nutrients to the water. 2.5ml of Plagron Terra Grow per 1L.

This thing just doesn't stop growing so, I'm experimenting, fired in a scrog net and I'm gonna veg it out to fill a 1.5x1.5 net, 1 plant... Should be fun if it actually is a female lol... . . More pics will be uploaded shortly as I'm just back from a holiday. The journey continues..... Plants starting to fill the scrog in nicely, I'm hoping and praying that this remains a female and doesn't hermie as it was originally purchased an auto how ever, I sexed some cutting which sprouted white hairs rather than mini sacks or nanas so, I'm remaining positive as the smell from this plant is insane, the resins coming through the stocks are sticky and have a lovely aroma also. . . Approaching the end of the week and the Gorilla is filling the net nicely 👌.. Fingers crossed now that it turns out a Fem! Pray for me lol...
