D64. A new week starts, and the stretch continues. Sigh. The first girl stopped at 80 cm, while the second is over 130 cm and still stretching. If she doesn't stop soon, I'll be in real trouble. Quite frustrating since it will affect both yield and quality. I added a few sachets with predatory Cucumeris mites to the girls. There are no problems, and I haven't scouted any bugs, but since I had thrips in the tent in the previous grow, I want to be proactive in case some bugs survived. I gave the second girl 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.5, with bokashi and fermented fruit juice. ------------------------------ D67. The second girl stretched even more to a point where one of the tops touched a light. To combat this problem, I removed the first girl and put her in my small drying tent since my LSD-25 was just done drying. It's a wee bit tight, and I had to add some side-lighting to get enough photons to her, but it should work out. The yield will take a hit, but I suspect the second girl will more than make up for it. I moved the second girl into the middle of the tent and thus could bend the tops outward, creating more space to the light. I also removed additional foliage in her lower canopy. The second girl is massive, by far the largest auto I've grown, and she drinks a lot and requires daily watering. Considering her size, I am concerned that she will run out of nutrients, so I need to devise a strategy for keeping her fed. Topdressing will be tricky as the pot is already quite full, but I will add as much as possible and then feed compost teas often. ------------------------------ D70. We're at the end of the sixth week of flower, and the second girl is still stretching. She has slowed down, but one of the tops I already had bent hit the light, so I had to bend it even more. I top-dressed the second girl today to give her a boost, considering her size. I used kelp powder, rock dust, neem meal, calcified seaweed, and worm castings. She then got 2 liters of water @ pH 6.5, with fulvic and humic acid. ------------------------------

17 weeks of flowering, the plant is more than 3.5 meters, sticks out from all sides, I hide it as best I can, the inflorescences increase every day, I water it with zero water through a water filter, I expect a good result, but the heat outside, it seems to me that the resinousness is not enough, but the weather will soon change and I hope my plant will have time to take root, I turn on the fans at night.

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Hi everyone, I feed this little beast twice a day 1.1 gallon (total 2.2 gallon) per day with the shown above nutrients every time. for my next run i think i will go way less nutrients, with all the above but with a lot less in quantities to compare. - Always on a 18/6 Daylight schedule . - Gives me a runout of 1/L . - Use Coco Coir an perlite only. - This week final defoliation before flush and harvest. - Probably last week before flush week. Lil youngin on their way home should be home for 4/20 along with 2 of their mother...as for the breeding project pollination is a success also been harvesting pollen(feminized) for later use Mothers are growing well jus to continue cut and set aiming for about 1000 already cut 3 and got 100...happy growing

The ladies are opening up nicely after 48hs of planted (2 days) as normal, the pheno #1 has opened first let's see how they keep developing!

Yesterday she was cut, run off ppms had been at zero for at least 4 days. For what this plant went through in terms of heat and humidity, I believe the outcome of roughly a kg wet is not too bad. Bud have a certain density to them but far away from what I prefer. However the presents of an abundance of Reepes is undeniable. ATM she smells very sweet with a hint of Creme and a bit of pine. She must be quite mold resistant, as the other plant in the tent with her was quite mold riddled and the Afghan didn’t catch anything in that tiny growspace.

Growing with alot of flowers all over the plant might get about 2 ounces out of this plant . Smells a bit pungent I havent added that much ferilizer just the natures organic living soil that cost me about 15 dollars pretty good super soil ill add. Thought about transplanting into a 2 gallon or 3 though the plant has gotten too tall and is needing backbudding in order for the crown to still get light so i cracked it and bent it in order for it to still stick around and get light.
