Hi 420 Family. Start of week 5 and things are looking great. These ladies have exploded... They all seem to be doing well at this point. Only problems that I can identify last week was that the stems (especially the main ones) started to wilt later in the day. They are not soft or limp, they just sort of bend slightly at the tips. I am not sure what is causing it, but about 1-2 hours after watering they seem to be fine again. I have taken off some of the larger lower leaves, like 3-4 per plant; during this process I snipped one of the main cola's mini side branches by accident... She seems to be doing okay tho. They are also starting to smell at this point and it gets a little more intense by the day. Smell is very sweet and earthy, so quite pleasant. On day 27 I gave them 700ml of water with the growing schedule nutes; yesterday they were quite dry, so I gave them 1L of plain PH'd water. This was for preparation of the pre-flowering schedule feed I will give them tomorrow. Let's see how it goes, so far so good! D32 - 8 Aug - I have taken the advice from all the comments and answers to my question; I have done some LST on all of these ladies. Only the one WW's main stem is pulled to the side, the rest already have too thick stems... For all 6 of these ladies I have pulled open the very first 4 branches from the bottom and one or two of the third set from the bottom just to open them up to more light. This was last night and the pictures are of this morning, they seem to respond very well to it. Can already see a bit more pistils and they are all facing up. Still keeping at the pre-flower nutes until the end of week 5. For now, they have had their last feeding on day 30, late the evening and I want to have them dry up a little more before I water them again - I assume by this afternoon. So far so good!! Current height: WW1 - 35CM WW2 - 35CM WW3 - 55CM PL1 - 50CM PL2 - 55CM PL3 - 58CM D35 - 11 Aug - The stretch is hopefully over soon..... They have gained about 10CM average in the past 3 days. Light is sitting at 45CM+- from tops, I have moved the tallest ones to the sides, with the shortest ones in the middle; it seems to even the distance from the light in a way. I know that I am losing a lot of light at this stage tho. Nevertheless, I have accepted my first-time-growers-fate (lol) and I can just hope for the best at this point. I have learnt a lot from this grow and I am definitely going to improve on the next one. For now, steady as it goes. Feeding approximately every 1.5 days with 1L of bloom-schedule nutes. My one Purple Lemonade has very strange leaves and some of them seem slightly deformed and lime green on the inner part of the leaves. I have flushed, and I have also done a week of just water, I reckon it is just this specific seed that was sort of bad. End of week 5 height: WW1 - 45CM WW2 - 42CM WW3 - 59CM PL1 - 60CM PL2 - 66CM PL3 - 70CM PS: In these past 4 weeks I have learnt so much from other growers here on GD, so a special thank you to each and everyone of you for guiding me thus far. :) Many blessings to everyone, stay safe and good luck with your grows.!

MAY 26TH 2024 - The gen 1 & gen 2 mom's have recently been cut back & lights have been dialed down to 35% to slow the growth down on the mom's until they are needed for cloning in a couple months. We have gotten it down to a science now with how to manicure them & cut them back then have them re-grow out again. I am VERY proud of myself as this is my first attempt at growing out mothers myself. I have always vegged out seeds & flowered from seeds with my own previous smaller ACMPR grows, Then managing other peoples grows they usually bought clones in I never had the opportunity to learn this aspect of cultivation, Until now & I feel we are doing very good ! These things are monsters and are super healthy and strong. With that said I would love any input or advice for growing out mother plants that we could use to improve even further ! I am always open to learning more. @seedsman The RUDE BOI OG seed has to be at least 5-6 years of age & it germinated no problem, I burned it with the bar LED's too close to them when they first germinated and it looked touch and go for awhile but I did not give up on her now she is going to be one of THE best moms, Wait and see ! Also, BE WARNED if you use these fabric pots that are supposed to air prune the roots for you & allow you to keep the plants in them indefinitely. The ORIGINAL set of them worked great on our first batch of mom's, BUT we almost lost the generation 2 mothers because of them failing and the roots grew right out the bottoms of the bags into the run off's from the feeds and almost messed up the generation 2 mother plant's luckily we spotted it, Transplanted them out into different fabric bags & resolved the issue. I absolutely fall in love with Gorilla Strawberry! Amazing strain ! I see 5-6 phenotypes 1. Is small indica dominant with very fast flowering 2. is dark purple I have never grown a strain with such a beautiful dark purple my favorite 3 is very resinous with big buds and looks like the main photo of Gorilla Strawberry on fast buds web site 4 Is with bright pink pistils 5. Smaller plant with very thin sativa leaves and very thick main cola 6 is a giant sativa dominant with very broad branching, which is just starting to throw flowers and I guess it will grow for at least 11 weeks Compared to Gorilla Zkytllez seems to me Genetics is a bit volatile However, they have one thing in common with a crazy amount of resin and a wonderful sweet fruity scent. I can not stop sniffing buds very pleasant smell I feel like a junkie :D I could sniff this all day But there is one minor problem for me . While one phenotype begins to bloom and needs Bud Ignitor for a larger number of flowering sites, another could be ready in about 2 weeks and needs overdrive to compaction the flower... When I compare phenotype number 1 and phenotype number 6 looks like a completely different strain, the only thing they have together is a large amount of resin and a wonderful smell. But that's just a problem with my growing style, because I mix fertilizers in a big bucket for all plants equally and I don't have time to mix for each one separately Finally, there is a photo of a thick stem that I probably burned when watering with fertilizer

week intel: its time to harvest some of plants the ones that is mature enough. indica dominant plants will done first always so we should harvest them first because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. indica dominant plants will get done 1 or 2 weeks sooner than sativa dominant plants that will often takes more than 8 weeks so be aware to harvest them sooner. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

Oct 5: Bruce is doing great. I was getting worried she wouldn’t finish in time but she’s picked up the pace and the weather is still good. Sort of. Hitting zero tonight and high of +3 C tomorrow. After that it’s sunny for two weeks with highs near 20 C. She’s turned purple the last few days and is putting on weight. 👍👍 She also broke a limb when blown over (again). Removing big fan leaves that are shading bud sites. Oct 6: she’s beautiful. Removed some large fan leaves that were shading bud. Feels weirdly warm tonight. Still using the 730 nm far red light for a few seconds at dusk as a bloom booster. Now down to just over 11 h of daylight. Oct 10: looking good this morning. Oct 11: been removing fan leaves to get as much light on the buds as possible. Sunlight is weak and low to the horizon but this month continues being unseasonably warm. We’re usually getting quite hard frosts by now but the forecast is warm for another two weeks. Some nice purple showing from the lowish overnight temps though. I just checked, and yes, it has been “extremely hot” again for the last 30 days.

Well that was fun. First time delving into the homegrown world and I’m officially hooked. Following the cocoforcannabis nutrient schedule and method, I ended up with 200 grams of dry bud and an extra 40 grams of trim/larf for edibles. I may have had them in the dry tent for a day too long, the hygrometers in the jars have settled around 54% RH, but they feel pretty damn sticky and moist to me. Been toking the larf and the high is really nice, definitely smoother than anything I’ve gotten from a dispensary. Can definitely taste the 🍇 and I’m excited to see what a little more cure will do. Already have my seeds ready for round 2, thanks for checking out the grow!

Start Week 13 - Day 85 07/27: The ladies are looking good. I believe Aaliyah has a few for weeks before she’s ready. Alexis is about a week behind and Annie is about two weeks behind. I had a few problems last week that I’m hoping don’t mess everything up. Annie took a bit of wind damage. Aaliyah has a herbal/earthy smell on her and it’s increasing, but is still pretty minimal. 07/29: Did some measuring and noticed that the ladies’s main colas all measure at about a foot long. There’s going to be a good amount of bud coming out. The burns on Annie have worsened. Now I’m thinking it might be the light, but there isn’t anything I can do about it at this point. Hopefully she pushed through.
