Harvest starts today on Day 56. 36 Hours of darkness begins now. Watered yesterday. Don't have time to upload/process photos, will do so later. For now just the one video of trichomes. You can also see an unwelcome guest at the beginning, although I'm not sure if it's a spider mite. Not taking any chances though, and the trichomes have begun to decay anyways, so harvest time it is. I'm kind of in shock about reaching this point in the grow 😨 Day 57 - Harvest early tomorrow :) Going to control the humidity to be about 55%. Day 58 - Harvest. And oh my god that smell. Is...Grape soda, which has been sweetened a little too much. It's overpowering when smelling it, but it doesn't get the room too smelly (also have decent ventilation though). I'll post harvest and effects later, after it has dried for a few days and then cured for a week or two. Yield won't be much I think, somewhere between 20-30 grams. Wet weight with stems is around 75.

First day of week 4 flower day 22- Took some shots of a few bud sites, that are looking well and that should start to frost up pretty heavy once in full gear. Increasing the EC slightly 1.6/1.7 around 800ppm for those that don't know. Trying not to overfeed but get to the sweet spot of tlwhat the plants want and require. Respectfully it is my first run with this strain and Breeder but nothing but good things so far. I managed to take some clones so that I can push the strain better the next run and incase I get a special pheno! But so far so good. The buds should start to go through a fattening period once the flower stretch is completely out the way. Will be back to report and show some more pics/videos as the week goes on. Week 1 Flower (2/28/22 - 3/06/22) Switched to flower on 3/01/22

******** Week 9 - Feb 3 to 9/20 (Days 57 - 63 from seed popping out) She has continued to swell this week and stacking her buds. The hairs are turning this week. Kind of a boring week in a way because she has been such an awesome girl to grow!! Have not spent anytime looking at Trich colour this week.....too early anyway. Trying to keep her environment correct so she is happy and those buds swell. Continue to reduce the temperature slightly during the day and night as well as lowering the humidity. She is a very pretty girl and has certainly impressed me now at weeks 7 to 9.......this is a learning grow though because I was not sure what to expect in weeks 3 to 5 but now understand the genetics better. Growing another girl in a 1 gal pot at the same time, just short of 2 weeks behind, and learning from that girl as well so we know the best way to run the last 4 seeds. Hint......I don’t feel 1 gal pot will be the winner and suspect a 3 gal might be the one for me and my style. What I have reflected on is that this girl has been very impressive to grow even though I have thrown curve balls at her. A little more attention to the LST ensuring a more even canopy and lighten the feedings, this girl can impress!😍 She didn’t like the light intensity in early weeks and preferred a lower pH. Given that she was slow growing at the start I was unsure of how far to push LST and obviously should have tied down her main cola but she was more resilient than I gave her credit for. On bigger branches I would clip off another one of the lower nodes than I did to give a little more energy to fill in the tops. Not sure this girls top cola will fill in as much as one would like but her side branches are making up for it and will definatley add to the weight.........take your time girl😀 Much debate this week over how long she will run in order to determine her last feed.🤪 She had her last feed three times😃 but it was finally Saturday Feb 8, Day 62 as the last day of feed. Plan it to just flush with water and Rezin & Liquid Weight to the end.....or early 70’s anyway if she will hold out that long🤞 She still has several nice white hairs but the red guys, drying, did happen a fair bit this week. She is ripening up. Almost picking up speed but hard to say.....my guessing so far has been off when trying to read this girl so “I am just along for the ride” hope she has a couple more weeks in her yet.😁 The long lanky grows often have you wishing they would have stayed just another 6” shorter.😀 Had to keep the lights higher in the tent to accommodate this girl and now tough to raise as high as I would like for Skywalker. It’s all good though as she is filling in along with the other girls👍She has pretty buds to look at but they are not swelling as much as I would like yet. Hope that comes soon and will continue to lower the temps. Environment is getting colder at night. Crystal production has been strong and very impressive! Changed the light schedule again this week. Moved her to 19.5 hours of light because she is still not falling to sleep at lights out. Given she has been very green and tips were burnt a fair bit, will likely use Flawless Finish to flush the medium. Little more detail: Feb 3/20 - Day 57 - Water feed today. Runoff in tray was 5.95pH from yesterday. - 3L plain water with Sensyzime @ 1.5ml/L. 100ppm and 6.4pH going in. - still trying to raise the medium slightly to over 6.0. Sensyzime to clean up the roots and eat the waste making more food. - Her red hairs are coming out pretty prominent now on some buds. Feb 4/20 - Day 58 - Full feed today. Pot still had some weight. - 3L off full feed with 1125ppm and 6.05pH - Runoff water in tray before feed: 800ppm and 6.1pH - Runoff water in tray after feed: 1000ppm 6.0and pH - Heavy leaf strip today. Almost anything with a stem was removed. Feb 5/20 - Day 59 - nothing today. - She is ripening more now. She is happy and her tips are up:) - Red hairs continue to come out towards the top of the girl. - Light cycle changed to 19.5hrs on and 4.5hrs off. Feb 6/20 - Day 60 - Verify medium today....close to flush - 3L feed of Sensyzime and Rezin @ 2ml/L and Liquid Weight @ 1.5ml/L. = 100ppm and 5.8pH - Runoff was 1050ppm and 6.05pH. Feb 7/20 - Day 61 - Nothing today, still heavy. - She appears to be swelling more on her buds. Feb 8/20 - Day 62 - ********Last Feed******** - Giving a bit of a flush with Sensyzime, Rezin, and Liquid weight @ 2ml. - 6L feed with 100ppm and 5.8pH going in. - Runoff - 600ppm and 6.15pH. Good numbers but wouldn’t mind the ppm around 1,000. - Evening giver her last full strength feed as listed for the week. - 2L feed going in was 5.7pH. Want to try and keep it around the 6.0pH mark as she seems happy slightly lower pH. - Medium got a good soak and good runoff amount - That will be it. Hope she goes 10 to 14 more days.... Feb 9/20 - Day 63 - Dry out day - raised the light a bit.....will use lower pH water in flush thinking 5.8. - She has some nice buds. She has fattened up and her buds are forming “tips” now. - Again....frosty frosty girl. Ending week 5. Paradiso is finishing the fastest and has the biggest nugs. Banana clipz is taking the longest to flower. Banana clipz is greasy feeling and smells alot Diesel started to smell like cheese and funk but the sour lemon smell is still there. Lung Buster is the frosiest. Turnt smells the most and the smell changed a bit to more of a sweet berry smell. The peppery garlic funk is still strongly there.

Hello hello! This past week was filled with explosive new growth; these clones certainly live up to the standards set by their mother. So much so, in fact, that I decided to take two more cuttings. We'll see if they root. This will be either the final or the second-to-last week of veg for these plants as they've nearly filled the space completely and are beginning to shoot upwards. A lesson I learned with Carl&UKBS 1 was the "perfect window" of veg time- filling the space and maximizing yield while still allowing airflow to prevent mold. HST and LST will continue into flower, HST will stop at F7. LST will continue until harvest as I'm not scrogging the plants this time around. -9/20- Tomorrow the new week will begin and the clones will be flipped to flower. Wish me luck!

Day 70-77 (Day 71) Not exactly sure why but node spacing on bbb 6&7 is super tight still. Their stems are also harder and less bendy, almost like they’re root bound. Bbb #5 in my veg tent is looking bizarre and I’m at a loss for what to do. I’ve been looking up and asking around about the leaf crinkle and no one seems to know what’s wrong. Trashing a pheno of this would hurt. It could be a keeper too as I don’t think the problem is genetic. It’s definitely root bound but that doesn’t cause contorted new growth like that. I’ve concluded that it’s my dense soil coupled with root bound issues, overwatering and high RH. (Day 72) Later tonight I’m going to give bbb 5 a bath tub flush until it’s reading 200ppms, drain it well and then transplant into a 3g pot with lightly amended soil. I’m also going to give it a light defoliation. I don’t mind stressing the shit out of this plant right now because I won’t be flipping for another week at least. With the small container it will run out of amended nutes mid flower so I will hit it with a few synthetic feedings around then to test out the smokabilty and taste compared to organic nutrients. I might as well give the rest a good defoliation on the rest of the plants too. I will try to get most of what is under the trellis. (Day 73) I definitely defoliated #7 waaay too much. Since it’s tucked away in the corner and a really bushy plant I can’t train it as well as the others. I cut most of the sucker branches and the majority of the lower fans. This should prevent the need to defoliate at all until week 3 of flower. (Day 74) I’ve been reading that higher temperatures with a high RH can affect growth big time. It could be what’s causing all the crinkling and twisting. And now that the plants are in very late veg they could probably benefit from a lower RH. When I was running my temps around 74-78F and 70% RH I was in the perfect range. Now that I’m around 82-86F with the same 70% RH that could be what’s causing it. Hotter air holds more moisture than cooler air and proper vpd at 84F is around 75-80%. I’m going to turn up the speed on my carbon filter and set my controller to 75%. If I don’t see a difference or it gets worse I will drop to 65 and go from there. (Day 76) I finally got the lights raised up another 4 inches or so. It’s not much but it should help reduce the intensity and stretch the nodes more. I’m starting to think the super tight node spacing and droopy/contorted growth has more to do with something I’ve been reading about called ‘soil compaction’. Apparently farmers often deal with compacted soil in fields from running tractors over it all day. When I potted the plants I gave them a good little jiggle to compact the soil down further so I could fit a bit more in the container. I think this could be the culprit as they don’t seem to be drying out evenly. Even the plants in my other room are not drying out like they should and it’s probably from compacting too. With the addition of rock dust and dry amendments the soil can become sandy/clay like and retain a lot more moisture. Wish I would have added a few more liters of perlite and packed the soil a bit looser. Either way I need to get this problem sorted ASAP before I get root rot. Earlier in the season when I overwatered, I stuck a fish tank air pump into the soil and it aerated the soil enough to prevent overwatering. The only reason I discontinued it is because it didn’t have much effect in the 1.7g pots. I just ordered a 36w 6 way fish tank pump that is way more powerful. It was 50 bucks and I’m willing to take a gamble on it. It seems to be my only option at the moment because I can’t just repot. Worst case scenario I can use it for brewing compost teas if it doesn’t work. I’m not sure how well this will work in a giant fabric pot but it’s worth a shot. I’ve heard of people supplementing additional air into raised garden beds with great results. I’m picking off some of the new auxiliary branches to try and widen the node spacing. Growth is definitely slow and stunted but no signs of deficiencies. I just thought of another theory on the node spacing... and the more I think about it, the more I think it’s the mystery problem. I’ve been foliar spraying with 1-1-1 VeloKelp at pretty high concentrations 2-3 times per week. I have heard in passing that kelp and seaweed can somehow reduce stretch. A quick google search reveals that Ascophyllum Nodosum Seaweed and other marine algae extracts contain large amounts of hormones and auxins that reduce plant height and stretch. *facepalm* Guess I’ll stop that for the rest of the cycle. As far as I know there is nothing I can really do but wait for the plant to use up all those excess hormones and nutes. The recent 0-0-15 seaweed extract and 1-0-3 kelp meal I bought is derived from the same kind as the velokelp. I guess I won’t use it again until week 3 or 4 in flower. Tight nodes are very useful in flower but aren’t desirable at all in when trying to scrog in veg. Especially when they’re like a half inch apart. It slows the shit out of a grow. Vietnamese and biker gangs in my area used to grow SOG style and use a synthetic PGR hormone (meant for bonsai trees) called ‘paclobutrazol’ that would make the weed rock hard dense so they wouldn’t have to pay people as much to trim it. I’ve heard that in recent years they have made the switch to using kelp extracts because paclo is getting harder find and is not meant for food crops let alone smokeable crops. I’m ashamed of it but I have smoked pounds of PGR weed long before I knew what a PGR was. 🤷‍♂️ (Day 77) One more theory. Ever since raising up the plants up onto that shelf the root zone is probably significantly warmer and the bottom of the pot (where most of the roots are) drys out way quicker. It’s possible that the warmer root zone could not be holding dissolved oxygen at the proper rate resulting in that over/underwatered look. Or it could be that I’m not watering enough at once to reach the bottom of the pot where the roots are and it’s indeed under watered. I’m going to water in a gallon when I get my new air pump and see if that makes any positive change. If I see the new air pump making a difference, I will flip on the 21st of April. If I don’t see a difference, I will carefully untangle the plants from the scrog net and remove the shelf. That extra foot should make a massive difference with ppfd and will cool down the roots significantly too. I’m thinking about grabbing a simple soil/compost thermometer to check the temp of the medium. Better safe than sorry. Rough week. Hopefully everything get smoothed out in the next little while before I flip.

Week 10 for Black Lebanon by SSSC She's looking a lot nicer after she's adjusted to the training the previous week. Unfortunately its been way too hot😥 She did end up getting a little leaf burn here & there but not much. Its a little hard figuring out when these 250L pots need to be watered/how much water they actually need😅 I gave her 7L of water yesterday afternoon but the temps are staying in the low 40's this upcoming week so ill be giving her more water this evening too. She's really turning into a big monster😂 Really enjoying this plant.

Halftime! Cleaned the tent, added a yellow sticky trap, no complications. But it looks like some plants have Mag deficiency, too bright, or maybe the light ist to hard for them. Will add Mineral Water till i get the CalMag

3rd week now about to setup filter and extractor fan also will be starting LST in a day or 2. Everything is going well so far for a first grow hope it stays that way. Also added the humidifier at the weekend which has upped the humidity 15-20%

Day 42. She’s flowering and looking beautiful. I defoliated her so she could get more light penetration to the lower bud sites. She’s drinking pretty consistently and eating heavy and she seems to be green and happy with life. Really excited to watch her book and see how big she will truly get.
