I started adding some Bio Grow after spotting some nute defs. But otherwise not much to report. I have tried to keep these girls 4-6h darkness. To give them some rest. Hey everyone :-) We arrived in the last week before the harvest 😍😍😍. I can hardly wait because both are beautiful and smell extremely good 👍😃. Let's start with the weekly overview: Flowering day 56 Both were poured with 1.2 l each and checked for their health. Flowering day 57 Today the tent was cleaned and the humidifier refilled. The trichomes have been checked and are about 80% milky and 20% amber. Flowering day 58 Both were checked, and the technology was checked for functionality. Flowering day 59 Today both were checked and fresh osmosis water was left in the tank. Flowering day 60 Again, both were poured with 1 liter. Flowering day 61 Today was a pure control day. The trichomes are now 30% amber and 70% milky (a few days until harvest). Flowering day 62 Today the whole tent was cleaned. And got the darkroom ready. In the next few days we will go to the darkroom. Of course, there will be a harvest update before the last update. Oh!! I am so excited!! This little Sex panther is sneaking around and growing even though her tap root got broken!!! I didn't know if it would make it or not, but here she is killing it!! She grew 3+inches this week. And, I am using @advancenutrients for the first time. Jungle Juice is proving to be a great investment so far. @STRNGSeeds says it should "it reaches moderate heights of 90–130 cm with a sturdy, bushy frame." If you look at the attached pictures, you will see a lot of growth--tells me it will probably be very bushy just like it was described. Today, I am very pleased with Sexy Moma's growth!!

So this week the tent really started filling up, lots of new growth probably going to flip next week just giving the mac 1 time to root in a new 7 gallon bag as she was far too big for her 3 gal one and is definitely female 😀 I’m planning on just keeping all six at this point harvesting as plants/branches are ready. heavy defoliation is in order soon

NOTES: First week of flowering: pH at around 5,8-6,0 and EC at 1,5. Day50 (5.12.) Day51 (6.12.) Day52 (7.12.) Just a light defoliation of lower leaves and I also pruned a few small nodes that didn't get any light. Day53 (8.12.) I filled the tanks to the top with fresh nutrient solution. I stopped using the root stimulator, otherwise same amounts of nutrients. Day54 (9.12.) Day55 (10.12.) Light defoliation and pruning, mostly on lower parts of plants. First time using pH+ on this grow, since it is mostly needed in flowering phase. On vegetation I've basically only needed the pH-. Day56 (11.12.) More light defoliating and pruning on bottom halves of the plants. Growth had basically exploded and I was therefore forced to defoliate under the canopy to improve airflow and to prevent moisture from condensating. Overall everything looks great!

Plant is growing well. Transplanted them from a 1 gallon pot into a 3 gallon pot this week.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

Defoliation definitely happened. She was getting very bushy. However, it's hard for me to NOT defoliate LOL. I want to see her true colors. I'm hoping my swollen nodes isn't telling me it's the opposite sex from seed..
