I have installed door netting and recently left open all day and night now so they can condition over night in colder temps. All are doing well, one overdose slightly behind and looking ABIT swifted. Notice oh level was low. Only around 5.6ph. So I adjusted the feeds oh to 7.0ph, hopefully it helps get the soils oh back up. **Edit Transplanted Today.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. 17 sept Maroc was chopped this week. The girl suffered from the endles rain we had last 10 days, enevitably she got mould. Not fully ripe, another week would have been best. Still some nice trichs and i will probably end up making hashish from this one. As do all off the female seed strains this year. The combination of early flower and the september rain this year took its toll. Biggest buds were harvested on wednesday and rest of plant saturday. Drying now in less than ideal conditions. Fingers crossed. Hoping for better weather for the weeks to come. Lemon kush and the others really needs some more sunshine to finish

Week 7 – Day 51 (BT27) A quiet week for RedPure#4 – mostly just watering, observing, and removing an occasional leaf 🍃 The stretch seems to be coming to an end. Height is stable at 40 cm, and space is still manageable 😅 Her buds continue to swell and look very promising 🍇 However, the drain pH remains low at 5.7, which might explain some of the issues she’s showing. After some digging, I suspect the combination of BioBizz soil and Advanced Nutrients is the cause. BioBizz relies on microbes for pH buffering, unlike Plagron or Canna, which use dolomite lime. On top of that, I’m feeding the microbes with Bud Candy – which likely lowers the pH even further 🔬 📌 Takeaway: If you're using Advanced Nutrients, a substrate like Plagron Growmix or Canna Terra might be more compatible. With BioBizz, the pH in runoff stays constantly low despite using water with pH 6.6. RedPure remains the most sensitive strain in the tent – but also one of the most aromatic 🌸💜

Shes actually already pre flowering the bud sites are already purple so I'm super excited to see how dark this one gets. I've seen this variety almost turn black it's so dark purple. I went heavy with LST and lightly defoliated. I hope you enjoy the diaries as much as I do! Check back next week to see just how fast she buds & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!!!

Day 29, Too many bugs! Mini grasshoppers and one of those leaf tunneling bugs, as well as a respiratory bug within myself! I’ve taken care of the bug inside myself, now time for the Diatomaceous Earth!!!! And to get that bug out of that leaf! Still feeding a little cal mag. I think it’s necessary. Day 31 - Day 1F Going to ramp it up from 1mg to 3mg per Gal of CalMag OAC. I will top dress something special, maybe the mother earth acid mix, or maybe I will do a seabird guano with insect frass and top it off with an Epsom Salt solution feed. I’m trying to practice using less of a branded store-bought approach. But to source everything is so much easier out of a store bought package, so for now, I might just do a small amount of seabird and insect frass, maybe just a super small sprinkle on the soil surface, not in water. Day 5 of flower: and WTF is up with this foul weather. Only 46 degrees Fahrenheit! (7.8 C) Cloudy with 15-20 mph winds. Gonna drop to 29 tonight… this is ridiculous. I don’t have access to the tent at this time, so it’s cold weather today. I could bring her inside where it’s warmer, and there is no light! Or those house lights put out only a few candelas worth, not exactly light for a plant. Do she would just stretch and go hungry inside. I’m leaving her outside. Bringing her in over night obviously! But not much growth is expected. Just gotta roll with the punches. I thought we were flowering this week, but barely small preflower development. So this is switched back to a Veg week.
