What's good growmies! This plant REEKS Even with the air being vented outside trough a carbon filter, the room still has a weak "eau de Stracciatella" I don't have the vocabulary or nose to place the scents like some growers can, all I know is, its f-ing loud and she's only mid flower, I *cannot* wait to smell this baby when she is cured. I'm following Plagron's Feeding Shedule, I posted it a few weeks back, I dropped all organic additives, however, so no Sugar royal, no Pure Zym and sure as f no Power Roots, even though I contacted Plagron and have been told these additives work wonders in Hydro, I just can't, it makes the water black, gunk collects around my roots and pumps, if anyone has any advice or insight as to what I'm doing wrong, please let me know, But my gut is telling me I do not have the money or equipment for Organics, the fact that I'm expected to replace 50 liters of reservoir every 48 hours in and of itself is a massive deterrent. that rant aside, Green Sensation is obviously doing work, however, I noticed my EC rising all the way up to *2.4* this week! which is absolutely no bueno, a couple of fan leaves started showing some burnt tips, Luckily its DWC and a quick adjustment with a few liters of plain Ph'd water immediately stopped that. Why was my EC rising? well the logical answer is Overfeeding! plant is not taking all the food I'm giving her so as the water gets taken up, the nutrients become more concentrated, so to fix that I'm halving my Green sensation dose, DWC kicks ass when it comes to this, there is little guessing, and a lot is measured. and as we all know, what gets measured gets managed. This Diary is on cruise control, I don't think aside from watching those nuggies fatten up, there will be much change in this garden from here on out. I'm starting another Diary soon, Zamnesia send me some Runtz to grow and show the world, which is great because I was planning to grow some legendary Runtz anyway! 😉 got a closet I'll be turning into a Autoflower/Veg tent, get some babies started in there using kratky, then once the time for flower comes, drop em into RDWC Thanks for stopping by this week and observing my baby's development, she's quite a slow finisher, but I'm growing fond of her. I have a hard time adjusting the room temperature because of the air conditioner failure. I started growing with one plant, a week later I added two more, and the next week 2 more.This is why my job is really hard. AK 49s have not started blooming even though they are in their 6th week!DNA genetic seeds and I bought them 3 years ago. In my previous cultivations they flowered in 4 or 5 weeks.With the 12/12 light cycle I encourage them to bloom.Since they're all at 6 weeks of auto seeds, I've started adding the bloom fertilizers. The girls are loving their new home and enjoying the heatwave we are experiencing here in Ontario. There was a big rainfall yesterday to break the heat so that was nice treat. I did spray them with a neem oil soapy mixture as I found a few bugs on the underleaves. Could have been aphids but I'm not 100% sure. Also found a few leaves that were munched on by Japanese Beatles. I've gotten rid of 2 of those Beatles already but seems to be the time of the season as they are all over my veggie garden too. I'll probably move them closer to my garden beds next to some companion plants. Maybe it'll help with the bugs.

There as big as they can be for my space so I'm switching to 12/12 Ive also switched the IR on as it's supposed to speed up the flowering transition. It's a new light to me at the moment from geeklight it's 3000k 320w v4 lm301H with added 660nm switchable IR and UV. I've got it 40cm from the plants and have been using a lux meter app on my phone. (don't have par meter) I read online that 50000 max in veg and 65000 to70000 max in veg is about right but I'm just turning it up as I go. The plants are very compact compared to HPS. My light spread over 120x60cm is really good in comparison to a 440w HPS. If anyone has experience with quantum boards I'm open to advice?

HARVEST TIME AT DAY 55 - 06/08/21 I wanted to get these ladies cut before we go through a heat spell. they were all ready but the gelato could have used a few extra days to make some more amber trikes... oh well cut them all and hung them at 72F @ 55%RH - hopefully I can keep the temps from fluctuating too much! I did a bit of trimming before the 48 hour dark period but none today see y'all in a week or so... if i can keep the temps good then it should be more like 10 days... we'll see! THCdaddy

Another busy week with the vege. I gave it microbes, a HID lamp at 400 watts, sprayed for bugs and also covered the media with plastic wrap to get rid of 3 or 4 gnarts and of course a had another flood with the GoGro water system and I took one plant out of the garden because she is frozen in time. I still don't know why. The trellis is doing good. Lots of work.

This week went by quick but they grew a lot! I didn't do anything different than last week but just increase their water intake from 1L to 1.5L and then followed my same nutrient regiment. I use the Fish Poop then the next day I just water. Then I use the Real Growers Soil Recharge and then I just water the next day. Then I use the MaxiGrow and then I just water the next day. Then I use the Stash Blend and then I use just water the next day. You can pH (using soil) between 5.5 and 6.5 so I always pH my Nutrient Solutions at 6.2 and use my pH'd water which is a 6.8 (7.0 for soil) but I pH my H20 after adding my Nutrient Solutions. I use my H2O that's always 65 degrees! I find it's better and easier to have a bucket with pH'd water ready to go at all times. It makes it easier when watering and feeding your plants especially if you have a few to care of!
