Very nice smell coming from this buds guys! Very good strain to grow, let's see how those buds keep developing, they still have a long way to go! I just cannot wait to see this flowers in a couple of weeks more, I'm only watering using pure water, the FLO Living soil blend provides everything the plant needs and you only have to apply h2o and that's it!. ######################################### HARVEST (Day 93 / June 4) ######################################### ----------------------------------------------------------- GROW SUMMARY ----------------------------------------------------------- Grown in 4x4 tent - but I only used 2x2 space because of heater and dehumidification and other plants (Outlier Z). This plant used a dedicated CMH 315 light. The plant was grown in hydroponics using a custom single-site PA hydroponics clone RDWC system with Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco line, Microbial Mass and Orca for beneficials. I also experimented with Rapid start in the RDWC system, but I didn't see explosive root growth relying on Rapid Start as an additive to the system verse using it when starting in rapid rooters which worked well. All around a pretty easy grow and things went very well. Topped twice for a mainline structure and she really spread out. Sparkling golf ball size nugs down the branches and spaced out nicely. The scent off her was like burned rubber/tires or maybe fresh blacktop. A single water change which was only performed when switching to bloom nutrients around week 7. ----------------------------------------------------------- HARVEST ----------------------------------------------------------- No dark period and no flush. On day 93 she was chopped and hung to dry. ----------------------------------------------------------- DRYING ----------------------------------------------------------- Entire plant hung upside down for 15 days. The temps were dialed in at 60F by using the S6 intake fan pulling air from the AC through intake vent on side of the tent. Humidity was dialed in at 63%/60F for 24hr, 62%/60F for the next 48hr. Then 60%/60F for the third day and onward. AC Infinity T6/S6 exhaust and intake fans were on the setting of '2' during drying until day 7, then I could turn down to a setting of '1' once the plants were not transpiring excess moisture. Trimmed on day 18. Then the jars were left open in the tent for another 12 more days for a full 30 day dry at 60%/60F while rolling the jars frequently. Also ran dehumidifier in the tent but it only ran for 1-2 minutes every hour because the AC was doing most of the dehumidification on the intake. ----------------------------------------------------------- TRIMMING ----------------------------------------------------------- Trimming was an absolute breeze. All swelled nuggets, very little sugar leafs left to trim. ----------------------------------------------------------- CURING ----------------------------------------------------------- Flower product was transferred to 1L mason jars averaging 35g of product per jar. I added a mini hygrometer to each jar and chose not to use a boveda this time. The RH averaged 62-64% when trimmed flowers went in jars. Jars were left open in the tent for a total dry time of 30 days from harvest keeping the tent at 60%/60F. Once closed, the jars were burped once a day for the first seven days, once every other day for the next seven days, rolling jars often. The burp was only for 3-5 second for air exchange until a. 62% was maintained in the jar. ----------------------------------------------------------- YIELD ----------------------------------------------------------- * Weight calculated at 62% humidity after 30-day dry and 14-day cure. ============================== FLOWER PRODUCT ============================== 180.41g (6.44oz) ============================== TRIM PRODUCT ============================== 57g (2.03oz) ** All major fan leaves, stems, and branches removed from trim product. ============================== TOTAL OVERALL YIELD ============================== Total: 238.41g (8.51oz) ============================== SPACE YIELD ============================== 238.41g / 4 sqft (2x2 canopy) = 59.60g per sqft ============================== WATTAGE YIELD ============================== 315 Watts / 4 Square Foot (3x4 canopy) = 78.75 watts per sqft. 238.41g / 315 watts = 0.76 grams per watt ----------------------------------------------------------- PRODUCT TEST ----------------------------------------------------------- Bag appeal is top-notch. Trichome covered, with aromas of that unique 'kush' you can quickly identify based on experience. Best OG Kush I've ever tried, hands down! The flavour is kushy, smoke is smooth and definitely my favorite strain in my tote of cured harvests at the moment. I can't keep my hands off of the jars. Definitely not a daytime strain, even for experienced users, although I'll use it in the afternoon when life is throwing curve balls. The effects rise you up, then sets you right down and will wash away all that anxiety after a long day. Put it this way....if I puff a few hours before bed, I still feel it the next morning when I peel my eyes open. No joke. I'll definitely be growing this one again, maybe even next run because I'll be sad when I run out. ----------------------------------------------------------- REGRETS ----------------------------------------------------------- Not running more of this amazing plant. ----------------------------------------------------------- NEXT RUN ----------------------------------------------------------- This was the first run at my new residence so it will take some time to get it dialed in. I had some calibration issues which are now fixed. I'm going to be shooting for 1gram per watt on the next run. ----------------------------------------------------------- FINAL THOUGHTS ----------------------------------------------------------- DarkOwl is the best autoflower I've grown yet. Week 5 for Fuel D.OG by seedsman, She's doing so well in her 5L pot she's drinking water with FPJ & some aptus regulator for better nutrition uptake, about 3 times a week. Atm she will be staying in this 5L pot until i have another 25L pot available. She was also topped again a 2nd time. 😛

Commencing week 5/Day 29: on Nov 21st Day 29 All is doing well now and a few more plants have roots in water but tomorrow is going to be well below freezing as well as the humidity has dipped very low Day 32 Still growing steady the cold temps and low humidity haven't hurt or slowed them down too much Day 34 Happy to say 6 out of 8 girls have pretty massive root masses developed in past week into bucket. I have been very lightly foliar feeding every day a slightly acidic low ppm solution. Lights were put back on timer since the temp and humidity are going back up I don't need the lights for heat. pH has remained steady for past two days in low to mid 5.8s. Is this too steady I wonder 🤔 I put on fans today today as well as under lighting LED strip. D35 Am check-in and all is going well. All 3 Gorilla Zkittlez are absolutely killing it, way bigger than the rest of the bunch. Although the 818 Headbands and the Raspberry Diesel are not far behind. Unfortunately both the Boss Hoggs seems to be runt-ish. One especially is really funny looking. But I always cheer for the under dog in the fight so who knows 😎 Turned off under lighting. Raised overhead LED Panels up 3-6 inches and re-oriented (angled) towards girls. *I've decided to break off the barely mentioned personal crosses into their own journal in the next few weeks in case anyone was watching or wondering, it's coming. I'll be editing this journal accordingly when the time comes to be more accurate and useful. Lastly I am adding a new journal today for "🍋🍰" aka Lemon Cake by Moxie. It's terpalicious 👅. super sugary and lemony on the nose. Does anyone from the US or elsewhere know what's "Country-Time" lemonade mix is?? 8/31: I fed today..8 gallons split between the 15 plants. Now that the 3 autos are out of the closet, they've all got a little more elbow room. 9/1: Lotsa frost and aromas now.. 9/4: Fed today, rotated edge plants, plucked off some yellow and dead leaves, and sniffed them up really well..😋 I started germinating the next batch of beans today, so these bitches need to get busy... 9/6: One of the FFT4's is starting to ripen up and show some senescence, and one of them is showing some potassium deficiency... I'm switching over to Cha Ching and will be reducing the dosage of ONE at the next feed. I lowered the lights to be at about 12" on the taller ones and 14" on the shorter ones shooting for maximum PAR for a few days...they'll either blow up really big or burn up really bad 😬

The harvest of my dear Stella was supposed to happen on August 4th, but didn’t begin actually until August 9th. I decided to allow her to dry out a bit before beginning the harvest, but I had some other difficulties which made her dry out a whole lot before I ever even got started. You can tell how dry by looking at the pics and video. Luckily, the dryness was limited to her larger leaves. She was already quite dry on the 9th when I started, and was more so by the 12th when I finished. Even after the advanced drying, her wet trimmed weight was still quite a bit. I’ll list the weights all together in a bit. It took 4 days to get the whole plant trimmed, weighed, and hung up for final drying. She was hung up from August 12th till Friday, August 19th. I got busy harvesting another plant while she was hanging up, and just let her be. On August 19th I took all of her branches down and removed the buds to get the true harvest weight of her buds alone. Let’s get to the weight of the whole thing. The overall wet-trimmed weight of the plant was 18.329 ounces with the buds and branches combined. I was a forgetful idiot and forgot to get the weight of the dry buds on the branches before removing the buds. So all we’re left with is the actual harvest weight of the dry buds alone. The overall dry bud weight, or actual “true” harvest weight of the smokable bud is: 7.317 ounces. That’s a wonderful amount of freshly harvested bud to cure. All of the buds were put into 8 quart sized jars filled roughly 3/4 full, and 1 pint sized jar, also 3/4 full. Each jar has a hygrometer as well as 58% bóveda packs to help aid the curing process. This is the 2nd DarkStar plant I’ve harvested, and both were very large plants. I used a scrog method the first time with a net that spread the whole plant out taking up the entire 4x4 area of the tent. This time I wanted to let her grow more naturally. She got so large that I had to bend almost all of her taller branches over using HST methods. I had to bend 3-5 branches over more than once. By doing that, once her buds began to fatten up she got too heavy and needed to be supported just to stand upright. Toward the end she had to literally be tied up to the side of the tent. Stella (DarkStar) was a wonder to grow, and she gave me a good amount of clones that will soon be harvested themselves. It has been a journey with Stella, and I’m happy that the journey is now complete. Happy growing everyone!

Such an easy trim tooo like it's wild when there's nothing but dank fat dense coals your trimming is easy. Hey..next week the plant get the 35liter pot with same mix as the start pot...i add little helper seeds in the big pot to prevent some things like bugs and dry out to much from wind and sun....hope the sun gets brighter the next time...but for this hard conditions i would say..nice start. thanks ..... 4/25: It was extremely cold tonight, so I took the opportunity and took this time lapse shot over 3 hours... after 1 hour I added a drop of remaining osmosis water... and lo and behold, ten minutes later Calimero laid down his eggshell ... .now we can get started and I have that great shot that I've always wanted to take...sorry for the outside interruption, I couldn't miss it....in the evining after my work i kick her as instant out.....

I'm pretty sure I either overwatered a bit or gave them to much supplements. I think in the future i'll skip calmag and rapidstart in bushdoctor. also water every other day. These ladies are GREAT!!!! I think after that first set of leaves the plants takes a few days to grow that tap root THEN pushes that leaf growth!!!! Nearing the end of the week I couldn't be happier with things!!! I added a ghetto DIY humidifier to to get tent up till I can water plants a bit more, but this new tent is working out AWESOME! I'm hoping my time lapse is working now too so we will have a nice little treat when things are done!

However, progress has been damn good. Recovery from topping is over and the plants have adjusted to the new pot sizes.
