Aug 17: she is looking happy at the start of the fifth week since I started force flowering. Buds are forming and everything is on track. Very nice plant. Aug 18: nice enough day after a small bit of rain early. Tops are progressing nicely. Aug 20: hot and sunny so extra water again despite some rain last night. Aug 23: added another Scrog layer. This seems like a really good way to stabilize the plant while holding things in place for maximum sunlight exposure.

Operation Flower of the Jungle is a Go! Second week of flower and these ladies are stretching and blooming! A part from the stretch and flowers coming out, there hasn't been much change. Which said like that seems like it's nothing but there has been a huge flower production in the past week. Were gonna have some nice jungle nuggets. Upped the nutrients 1ml/L

Ending of week 3 and beginning of week 4. I started lst a few days ago, now have the top of the plant to the edge of the pot. Just waiting on some of the branches to be able to reach. Plant seems healthy to me but this is my first time.

266 grams out of all 4 plants, roughly over half elbow. Went with grove bags. Did 5 day dry then put into totes for few days and bagged after trimmed. Sticky buds with the piney nose to it with heavy gas .

8/1 This wad the most fucked up morning ever. Didn't get much time with the girls. I was able to take a few pics when I got back amd a video this morning. Pillars are still around. I killed a couple but I probably should spray BT. I think we got rain last night. Bags are heavy. I defoliated a little bit more on the interior and found some small yellow leaves. Event horizon is still on point to flower first. I NEED to lst and add supports for flower bit I've got a lot of other things going on too. I'm going to TRY to spray BT tonight if weather permits and I should have the supports up this weekend. At least that's what I'm hoping. 8/2 Quickly watered as I had to fix a flat tire to get my wife to the doctor. Gave most a gallon but closer to 3/4 on one event horizon and the sherb pie. Half g for the 10 and I gave the 5 and the 50 a little water. I didn't give the 50 much. That holds water far longer. I'm glad I got it done. It was 90°+ and sunny all day. Earlier everything looked great. I think I'm gonna go check them and maybe add a few pictures. Hey 👻 After many months without updates, here's a little one. These are the originals mother plants, i took 100's of clones out of em and then flipped to bloom 2 months ago. Here's a few pics of different bloom stages 👆 I began flush today after aprox. 60 days of bloom, i'm looking fwd to cut in 7-10 days, depending on trichomes 👍 I'm not expecting a big harvest but at least a quality one ! Currently sitting at day 38 of flower. Forbidden Soda- Looks incredible, buds are a pinkish purple. Smell is a fruity tangerine Forbidden Dream pheno #1 - this pheno is the beat smelling and looking, started turning purple from the onset of flower, the smell is like grape soda mixed with sour patch kids. Forbidden Dream kush pheno: this was the pheno that I though hermied, it’s not possible that they were just calyxs building on the top buds. They never got bigger, didn’t release pollen, and some now have pistils thru them, but will see once harvest time. Very impressed with the forbidden Dream strain, as for the forbidden soda while it does look incredible , this was selected from 3 different 12/12 seeds where the other two were not good. The forbidden dream seems to have better phenotypes overall and buds are a lot denser..

Plant is fine, except one stormy night the weather is just fine. Heard that is gonna be a nice September, hope they are right. I plan to cut the tree on the second/third week of September. Yes some yellowing leaves, I still think is the aging process and a little bit of K deficiency, that should have decreased, and looks like it has, new growth are just fine and there is no worsening. Still watering with: Big bud, 2 ml x L CalMag 2 ml x L Bio Bloom 3 ml x L silica, one tablespoon neem oil propolis aloe

Week 16 (Harvest) 1-2 Drying day 1 Temperature: 24.5 to 19.5 degrees Humidity: 65% to 50% The girls are ready to be harvested! Before chopping them down, i took a lot of pictures. I was able to remove most of the soil from the Biscotti #2 to see the rootball. I hang the plants as a whole to have a slow dry. The exhaust fan is on setting 4. 2-2 Drying day 2 Temperature: 19.1 to 17.5 degrees Humidity: 62% to 57% I changed the exhaust fan to setting 2 because setting 4 was a bit high in my opinion. 3-2 Drying day 3 Temperature: 19.9 to 18 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% Today i checked up on the drying plants, and i see there are some buds touching other buds, so i chopped the plants in half. The buds are still to the main stem for a slow dry, but are hanging more spreaded out to prevent any budrot issues. I changed the exhaust fan to setting 1, as someone told me that it was enough air movement for drying. 4-2 Drying day 4 Temperature: 19.8 to 18.5 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% 5-2 Drying day 5 Temperature: 19.9 to 18.8 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% Today i checked on the drying plants and the buds are shrinking a bit, they are getting a little bit crispy on the outside aswell, I hope they wont dry as fast, and i aim for a 12/14 day dry. For the next grow i already germinated 2x Chemdog (GreenHouseSeeds) 2x Gorilla Kush (GanjaFarmerSeeds) and 1x Deep Candy CBD (GreenHouseSeeds) And I have some upgrades planned aswell! I bought a autopot kit with 4 15L pots, this way the plants will have water and air 24/7 whenever they need it. I have seen alot of great results using autopots so i am very exited to try it out! The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing fast, stretching long and I'm constantly tying down branches to maintain an even canopy. There's also a stronger scent of lemon already in the tent. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 3L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----prior 4 weeks updates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. Lost a branch end with 3 nodes accidentally whilst tucking away so now I'm super careful. The Sativa dominant strain is stretching nicely and bends easily. Minor defoliation of lower branches and fan leaves continues daily. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle.
