Evening fellow growers. Hope all is well and you’re all doing great! This has got to be one of the hardest grows i have done. I always knew starting this early in the year was going to be hard and it’s proving that way. And again a massive shout to James and the team at RQS for supporting me and supplying me with the seeds. 🙌 Here we are week 6 the start of the second week of flower. These ladies are moving along alright (I think) although the cold weather is back and has not been to kind over the last couple days. They are still stretching out which is good, just signs of cold which isn’t the best. The bud sites are forming slowly and the structure of these plants looks good. Let’s see what this week brings. ✌️ Day 37, watered 500mil with some nutrients. Held of on them for the last week so just adding them in slowly. Hoping they pick up a little. Took a few fan leafs off that are covering bud sites but other than that just leaving them to it. No pics as it’s very cold and don’t want them out the tent too long. ✌️ Day 38, warmer today and these girls seem to be ok. Nothing done just a couple photos and a video. ✌️ Day 39, watered tonight with 500mil and a little feed. ✌️

My Sticky Rice plant is one of the smaller ones in the bunch, but don't let its size fool you! It's got these incredibly healthy, vibrant leaves that just scream 'good genetics.' I've got a feeling this little one's gonna surprise me – it might be small now, but I bet it's gonna pack a punch!" This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!

Green House Feeded one is enjoying life and keeps stretching. Advanced Nutrients one moved to left top corner and she seems to be doing better than last week. Light intensisty is at 90% in 50 cm distance.

What’s up, Growmie! 🌱🔥 Since it was getting crowded in the grow space, I defoliated for better ventilation and lighting. I kept it conservative — not more than 10% of the leaf mass. While at it, I kept an eye on future bud sites and rerouted a few twigs with some LST using bonsai wire. Still looking good! 💪 Stats so far: 💧 Watering: 1,5L every other day 💦 Humidity: ~70% RH 🌡️ Temp (lights on): 26–28°C 🌡️ Temp (lights off): 20–22°C 📈 Avg. VPD (lights on): ~1.0 kPa

Tag 21 - Ende der 3. Woche. In dieser Woche habe ich den Wachstumsdünger nochmal ein bisschen erhöht. Die Pflanze entwickelt sich sehr gut und voraussichtlich werde ich im laufe der nächsten Woche das Licht auf 12/12 umstellen und die Pflanze in die Blüte schicken. An Tag 15 wurde die Pflanze gedüngt. Nährstofflösung: 2 ml/l - B-52 Advanced Nutrients. 2 ml/l - Voodoo Juice Advanced Nutrients. 2 ml/l - pH Perfect Sensi Grow Part A 2 ml/l - pH Perfect Sensi Grow Part B Davon hat die Pflanze 500ml an Tag 15 erhalten.

June 22: morning foliar spray with Extreme Blend and FPJ made from cannabis tops and brown sugar. June 23: bit of a rough day today. I broke one ot the main stems this morning while trying to bend it a bit. It had grown to the point where I should be supercropping and not just using LST to get the 8 colas properly separated. Need to buy some proper floral tape and the only thing I could find in a hurry was clear packing tape. Not ideal but might still work. Or I’m down two colas. Also found a caterpillar in the act of munching on the leaves which mostly explains the minor leaf damage. Not a big deal and she is looking good for the solstice time of year. June 24: now have floral tape (great $5 grow tip) so I supercropped and taped the undamaged stem. This keeps all 8 grow tips at same height so one doesn’t take apical dominance. This way all should grow evenly. The broken stem looks like it will recover. Watered for first time since rain with molasses, Cal-Mag and Nature’s Source. June 25: morning foliar spray with FPJ and potassium silicate. Started another lazy compost tea in 5 gallon bucket. Two handfuls compost, molasses, Extreme Blend, kelp extract, bit of vinegar to get pH to about 7, and a bit of Dr Bronners peppermint soap to help solubilize things (surfactant or wetting agent). Also decided to add a handful of shredded coco coir to give the bacteria some media to grow on (“fiber”). Leave 24-36 h to incubate. June 26: looks good…used compost tea after 27C day. June 28: replaced clear plastic with floral tape. Five days to heal well enough to re-tape. Removed lower growth tips as part of the manifolding to focus growth on the 8 top spots for now.

The ladies are starting to stretch and flower. We also did a defoliation and lollipop session at the end of week 2 flower. Canopy and bud sites look good and are a plenty. Looking forward to next couple of weeks.

End of Week 9 flower! Smell ist getting crazy. Buds are not quite big but rock solid! Gonna keep this running for another 3 days and then start a 48h period of darkness before chopping the plants. Been reducing the temperature from 26 to 22deg over the last week.

Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Here’s the breakdown: • Whites: Running at 77% to maintain robust overall growth and trichome density. • Deep Reds, Far Reds, and UV: Maxed out at 100% to mimic the end-of-season spectrum, signaling the plants to finish strong. • Deep Reds: Enhance photosynthesis efficiency through the Emerson effect. • Far Reds: Promote stretch and flowering hormone production. • UV: Stimulates trichome production for an extra boost of frost! We’ve also added a timing twist: • Reds & UV start 15 minutes before whites to simulate sunrise. • Reds & UV finish 15 minutes after whites to mimic sunset, creating a more natural light transition. These subtle timing tricks help reduce stress while optimizing light absorption, ensuring every photon counts! 🌞 Environmental Conditions: Precision is Key Here are the dialed-in parameters for the week: • Temps: 26.3°C • RH: 70.1% • CO2: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.03 kPa With these numbers, the ladies are thriving in their sweet spot, absorbing nutrients efficiently while maximizing trichome development. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden. Ich bevorzuge sie nass zu Trimmen und sie in in ihre einzelnen Buds zu zerlegen um sie für die nächsten Tage in das abgedunkelte Zelt in einem Trocknungsnetz zu hängen! Bei einer Temperatur aktuell von 20Grad und einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von ca 55-60% Hier liegen die Buds erstmal für die nächsten 10-14Tage Trockengewicht lag bei 37g Happy Growing

Week 8 Flower Last full week of flush (plus a couple days). She was taken down on Day 58 Flower after she'd faded enough. Most of her fans had died off and been plucked. I always cut them down approx half hour before the light is due to turn on. This is so the chlorophyll production is at its minimum, giving you the best flavour and smoke. She's a stunning girl with fat juicy fruity cola's! 🍇🍓 Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Day 92: what’s happening guys! Week 14 is here. Temps have been okay and humidity has been okay. I’ve got the 400w hps set up and it’s dropped temps slightly and slightly raised humidity which is what I wanted. In my opinion she’s looking ready for the chop! I’m seeing plenty of cloudy trichomes and a few ambers and I’m going for less of a couch lock so I’m thinking around now she is ready. I started plain water 6 days ago and she’s recieved 2L,1L and then 1L again today. All leaves have started yellowing, I imagine this is the plant pulling the nitrogen from the leaves as there’s none at the roots. How much longer does she need to be fed plain water for before she is ready for the chop? Thanks! Stay safe and happy growing✌️🌱🍁 End of the day edit: I decided to harvest the majority of her. The bottoms just a bit under developed so I’ll leave it going a bit longer. After chopping and taking photos out of the hps light the nugs are looking a tinge purple although I can’t see it as strong with my eyes. Hopefully I’ll get a wet weight later so I can add it to the diary later on. Temp is around 24c and humidity is 45-55. How does that sound? I’ve got extractor at the top and a fan at the bottom. We’ll see how long it takes to dry, hoping to go for atleast 5 days. With the virus going around I’m really making use of what I have at home so hopefully the climate will hold up🤞 any tips and advice about drying and curing etc is hugely appreciated🙏 I’ll be back with the harvest update once she’s dried out✌️many thanks happy growing!🍁🌱 She weighed in wet at 110 grams. This is going to be my very first grow. very excited :D As soil I'm using Biobizz light mix mixed with 20% Cocos Brickx from Plagron. No nutrients in this stage just water. Light schedule 18/6 Day 5 - 4 out of 5 seeds have sprouted. still have a little bit of hope for the last one. let's wait a little bit more. Day 6 - Seed # 5 I assume is dead. it was still completely intact decided to try a revive on it by putting it in paper towels (wet) but that didn't do it. the worst thing is that I had my time lapse camera on this seed 😭. The other lady's doing well growing at the same pace. let's do 1 more night before we hop on to the next week of this story. Happy days friends 😀
