Dear Me, I had a Growers Nightmare, An Equipment failure around 21th of Jan,24. My 3X3 Mars Hydro Kit is IMPORTED from United States. it comes with a pretty powerful grow light FC-E3000. But Unfortunately it broke only after 1 weeks of usage. The Rotating knob stopped responding to dimming function. The push button only turns lights OFF/ON. And without having the ability to control the Light intensity I was left with nothing but 100% light, 400+ PPFD and 25+ degree Temp in my Grow Tent. Hence I Disconnected the Two of the Centre Light bars and Increased the Height to maximum at about 1.3 Feet from plants. This at times was showing between 230-300 PPFD but it now it's back at showing 400 here and there. At the very least the tent temperature is 23-24. I Contacted Mars Hydro notified that I'm in different Country and that I'm helpless and I can't basically send you the Unit for a replacement since I'd killing my plants at that point so please either 1) sell me a new controller stand alone unit to my country. I'll pay upfront. or 2) send me new unit and I'll send back as soon as fresh unit arrives and I swap the malfunction unit. I'll bear shipping cost upfront for both ways. But it's been like 3-4 days no conclusion we're still figuring out and yet to get to any conclusion. Hence I ended up placing order for a AC infinity 6 inch exhaust fan which comes with AC infinity 69 Pro controller( a separate unit that can connect to Mars hydro Grow Lights using RJ45 Cable Type B Connecter). It's cool how just one thing can add a whole Semi-Automation to Grow Tent Environment. Not gonna lie I did thought at this point that I had in fact made my tent buying decision in a jiffy without looking at all the other options. I hope Mars Hydro Fixes it provided that I had invested my faith in them with my money at around 1200 usd( Tent cost about 600 USD + about 600 in Shipping and import fee). Prepared Cal-Mag Buffered Coco-Perlite Mix for Coming week. Plants are already on a Light Feed Schedule with a 3 Part series by General Hydroponics. 1st Week Nutrients Diet Per Gal Water 2ml CalMag 1 ml micro 1 ml Grow 0.5 ml Bloom Ph-6.1 TDS - 277 UPDATE : 4 February : - I learned First week starts "After" the Cotyledons when first true leaves show up. Which means I've been actually in my first week only. Putting an end to my anxiety over my current plant sizes. Also, Mars Hydro replied with a humble gesture and decided to replace the dimmer at no Additional cost, They told me I could keep the faulty unit which means I don't need to spend money on returning it. and they're directly shipping to my country without any extra fee (a cherry on top). I'm yet to get the tracking but it should arrive at the very least sometime before I hit the Flowering. My first week plants look somewhat healthy despite a little light stress in the early stage. Although the Plants heights not been upto the desirable min. so far which is mostly because light was throwing too much ppfd in the early stages. Seems to be growing nice so many budsites she’s drinking a lot 2ltr a day easy I’ve added a bit of budcandy to see how she handles it

She is getting nice and fat next few weeks and it will be harvest time. This strain should taste nice so another strain I'm looking forward to smoke

  She is incredibly supple - the transplant has taken, and she seems to have a grown about an inch. These plants are exciting! 🤩 (Today is day 22 (from sprout with green). We have two plants here. Both are G14’s. Plant #1 we topped on day 11. Plant #2 we are letting it ride out to see what it does, but with a bit of help from LSTraining. Plant #1 is measuring around 7.5 inches but that’s on an angle as pictured, next time I untie it to rearrange I’ll try to get another measurement. Plant #2 is around 5.5in. Both are just doing great and changing daily! Even from night to day we notice a difference! Both are receiving fox farm plant food and calmag each watering. I removed those super big fan leaves today so I’m hoping they do ok with that. 🤞🏼💪🏼🤩 As I’ve said in my other journals, I take a lot of pics lol. Just harvested last night so will come back on in next couple of week to review!! No estimates on yield as yet. But the smell is definitely pungent lemon and sweet smell. Can’t wait to try the end product!!

2 ever differing plants here. #1 I think is very much ready to cut and will be doing so over the next day or two. Foxtail mad plant. #2 is gonna be another week I reckon. Still very leafy and starting to foxtail more so won't leave too much longer. Could be a very heavy one depending on how much needs to be trimmed.

All good flowers are coming along nicely and getting thicker. 500ml water per day 12/12, fertilization happens on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with the mix above. All good so far I just keep removing the bottom leaves that are yellowish. Fruit Tree will be the quickest to be harvested all of them are nicely maturing needs some more time. Some more weeks and we will see.

Day 15 and things are rolling right along.Ive just been giving ph water until the pots are dry.Noticing a lot of growth last few days and they are looking good.Ive decided to go from the 24 hour straight to 20 hours on 4 off light schedule.I have never really noticed much of a difference with auto flower from 18/6,20/4,and 24 hours on the light schedule.I think it is best for the equipment to give them a short rest time.I do like the consistency of the environment with 24 hours during the winter time though :)

Hi Growmies, The plant is really sturdy and actually started stretching a bit more than before, as I have lifted the lamp a bit higher. I will give her max two more weeks to stretch under the screen and then I will flip her . Her rootball is also stretching and is starting to fill the reservoir. So far everything is going to plan, let’s hope it stays that way. Thanks for passing by and see you guys next week.

Look at the stretch 💪🏽 all the changes happing at once, I got to admit I was not expecting to see flower sites develop so early in stretch considering i only spotted pistols a day after last dairy entry, two day after that flower sites everywhere. She is incredible. I scraped back mulch layer this morning and spotted some friends. First time I’ve seen them in a while I’ve added another net just cause I’m limited to space and I’m not sure when she will stop stretching, Water is now everyday solid a little knf now and then. Other than that very little work this week, possibly will be the case from here to harvest, Until next week let’s get it 💪🏽
