Morning of day 14- tops look dry but it’s just the very surface. They took a little longer than I wanted to dry out. The weather has been cold windy and rainy, not much sun lately, and we are still about a month away from our potential last frost date. Farmer’s Almanac says last frost date is May 30th or something crazy, even though the days are normally rather warm by now. I haven’t fed as of Day 14 because they are not dry enough, there is plenty of amendments in the pot, especially towards the bottom, except I will still spoon feed a little bit. I just rehydrated the tops as they were really dry at least 1-2 inches of the tops were dry, but the bottoms are still plenty wet, so with clean water in a spray bottle, I just lightly rehydrated the top a lil, so I might be feeding tomorrow for day 15, but I don’t know yet. Keeping the tent around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and only about 25-30% RH. This helps me compensate for the lack of heat provided by the LEDs and help the plants adapt to a higher water demand. I haven’t seen the low humidity effect the seedlings, intact all the plants that grow outside in the hot bone dry climate LOVE IT! They were praising all last year. So to help keep me away from damping issues and to better prepare the little ones for the outdoors, I’m trying to match a hot and dry environment in the tent. With VPD levels way up in the red, I have yet to experience a negative impact. I have damped off enough plants in my life, it’s a lot harder for me in 60-70%RH to water the plants and get them to dry out fast enough in the tent with cold LEDs.

Week 5 of flower! I have continued to light defol this week as I do throughout the life cycle. I found some pm in the tent this week. I caught it early and hit it with my go-to spray Nuke Em, and bought a fan for the undercanopy. It cleared it right up! I have backed off on nutes a bit in the past couple days. I will be feeding light every other day.

This may be the last week for the widow. She is huge..The last week saw her swell and eat most of the leaf on the buds. This week I am feeding her water only. She was flushed through with 2L of water at 6.5 with around 600ml run of which came through at PH 6.53. I will check her trichomes over the weekend once she has drunk some of the water she had. Not much else to say. She is a tough old bastard and she has made me want to test some other white widow genetics. Any recommendations please say. Happy grows🌿🌱. Stay safe😷😷😷

The harvest is pretty small but in these conditions, I didn't expect much more. This grow was more for fun than for harvest so I'm quite happy with it :) - I didn't weight wet buds. - Drying was made around 21°C and around 55% of humidity. Veg time : 29 days. This plant has been my strongest/largest from the gate, so no surprise she was my biggest yielder! Incredibly strong/resilient from the start, however everything seemed to just go right for this plant. Lots of defoliation and attention helped cultivate dense medium-large nugs that certainly pack a punch! Very flavorful, and amazing aroma. I will definitely be growing this strain again!

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our Grandaddy Purple from Blimburn Seeds! She is looking really good this week. She still have a few of the feformed leaves that look wrinkled. From some googling, I would guess either Tobacco Mosaic Virus or just a natural deformity. She a cutting from a previous run and she has it then too. It isn't wide spread and she still put out quality medicine. Even though she wasn't very Grandaddy Purplish, she was still gassy and frosty! Other than the funky leaves, she looks super healthy with her leaves "praying" to the canna-gods! Now, let me nerd out with the deets! The girls come back inside when the weather is uncooperative. Indoor temp is around 70 and humidity around 60-65%. Otherwise pretty much the same as prior weeks.

Accidentally broke one of the main-branches. Luckily one side node was still attached :) The plant is doing really good, has big fan leaves and looks healthy overall. Topped it 3 days ago and will let it rest for a 4 more days before putting the clock on 12/12.

Day 29 - Topped both ladies at the fifth node and removed any growth below. Growth exploded since transplant and first dose of nutrients. Day 30 - Watered both ladies with around 100ml of water. They recovered from the topping and look as healthy as can be. Very happy with progress. Day 32 - Misted both ladies. Will water tomorrow with another dose of light nutrients. Day 33 - Watered both ladies with around 250ml each. Increased dosage slightly from last feed to see how they take it. Day 35 - Both ladies taking the feeding like champs. Vigorous growth showing in both, planning to top them again next week and remove any growth below the topped nodes. Misted to keep them nice and hydrated.

Nice big plant, lots of dense buds. It smells a little bit citrus, but not strong smell.

These have got so tall!! Some stress from the light as it’s only a small tent can’t get the light up any more I have moved up the fan and the light a little !

Hello! I will be harvesting in few days and I can say she was a pleasure to grow and I am amazed she still flower not too bad even if she was slowly strangled on main and side shoots except the lowest buds who grew on the only side shoots without restricted uptake and you can see it! Next time I am sure she will grow a bit bigger without this torture I inflicted to her straight from the beginning of flowering! ,she is turning yellow and some red fade colours too, I am sure I could give her one more week but I cannot wait any longer so soon she will be harvested... Next time maybe I will let her finish properly too! 😁❤️

Well not alot to report this week guys. The gals have been responding well to the 600w, the vertical height has stopped and we are just making some fat juicy buds. All the colas are really starting to develop. The very first few pistols are turning orange. Guessing we have around 3 weeks to go. The microscope is out and ready but trichomes still all glass like. Working on getting a camera with a good zoom hopefully I get one in time if not will be able to upload trichome pictures in future grows. Have been keeping the feeds at 2.7ml this week and will be 2.2ml next week until the flush period. I will upload the complete feed schedule I have done with these plants on the harvest week upload. Can see the leaves showing signs of deficiencies still but guess this is good at this stage and makes sense with the tapering off of nutes. Noticed the cool air was condensing on the intake tube and that is the reason our back right plant has a few burnt leaves etc, drops of water have been dropping on it and frying the leaf under the light. When you rub the flowers and smell your fingers get a lovely minty/chocolaty sweet kind of smell, its absolutely incredible and makes me want to smoke these juicy buds even more no... but good things come to those who wait they say!
