Weekly update for these gorgeous girls. They've definitely started taking off and doubled in size over the past week. I started feeding nutes at 5ml/gal of Athena Calmag,Grow A & Grow B. Ppfd still at 350-400 at the canopy level and watered 250-500ml daily. All in all Happy Growing

Hey Friends, end of week 8 from seed :)
Many new things have occurred this week
Plant 1 is beginning to mature, its not growing in height as much as before but now its getting thicker and looking stronger.
I am slowing increasing the amount of nutrition, I don't want to burn them at this stage.
I noticed some of the leaf stems were turning red, so I decreased the light and its turning back to green.
Did some defoliation this week to give more room to the smaller leaves.
Plant was getting taller and was too close to the grow Light so I installed some netting inside the tent and it helped control the height for now, if it gets taller ill purchase a bigger grow tent 😩
Looking forward in seeing some bud formation in week 9, will keep you guys posted.

End of day 61 flower.
Both girls have been sitting in the dark since Yesterday @8pm. Will be taking them down on Thursday afternoon. Split the stem on both and flushed with florakleen for 3 days and now only on RO water. Adding a few ice cubes to the solution 2 or 3 times per day to keep the temp down. The last 12 hours remaining I will take all the water out of both buckets to let them know that the end is near and hopefully get some more frost from that. It’s been over 120 days since these two got seeded together and it’s been one hell of a journey. I got a bunch of clones off them and will have more grows on those coming up soon. I’ve learn a lot about what these girls like and hope to get a better yield with the clones. Next update will be the harvest. Take care and thanks for following along. 🤗

Las plantas responden muy bien a los nutrientes y crecen bastante bien.

📅 Dia 15: Riego con agua por inundacion con 100ml agua Ec 250 Ph 6.5
📅 Dia 16: Poda FIM a las dos plantas que destacan para nivelar altura.

No respondieron bien a los nutrientes, otra ilusion mas que me acabo de quitar, no me pasara a partir de ahora.Va alta en nutrientes y solo aplique una vez, a partir de ahora tomare nota del agua de escurrimiento y agregare nutrientes cuando la planta lo precise, el resto de veces pura agua.

Soooo im out of base nutes so the girls start to develope some nute deficiency but a package from Advanced is on the way to give them everything they need!
Already getting fatter and fatter im really really hyped for the outcome of this run.

she is continuing to develop as she should, however doesn't seem to be stretching all to much even with lower light intensities. I have therefore decided to push the ppfd to roughly 600 and let her finish her pre flower, no matter if she will fill the entire scrog or not. the roots are bit stained, however, this seems to be nutrient related, no slime or smelly roots thus far and it seems like she is constantly shooting out new ones from the net pot. She is going to be a nice little bonsai bush :)

HARVEST DAY!
162 days after the sprout, and 117 days after the switch.
It makes almost 6 months!! What a never-ending journey!
I chopped down the princess and decided to place the colas on the usual hanging net without trimming them directly.
I just couldn't. Every cola requires at least 30-40 mins to be trimmed properly. I got something like 50 or 60 colas in total.
It's a total pain in the ass believe me!!! There are layers consisting in calyx, leaf, calyx, leaf, and so on. You basically need to work between every couple of small calyxes in order to remove the leaf in the middle, while being very careful to not cut down everything. It's insane!!!!!!
So.... just wait a little more for the final harvest and the smoke report.
They will come, but definitely not now!
In the meantime I uploaded some harvest photos and videos.

Hey here we go again.. in the pics I explained how to clean the lava rocks but to make it easier I will put them here.
LAVA ROCK CLEANING.
1... fill sink with hot water and about a half bottle of hydrogen peroxide .
2 ...dump rocks into sink
3....shake out rocks from roots...I suggest you do this in another sink then add lava rock to other sink..it keeps from adding to many roots to water sink.
4....skim off all roots from top of water...now while the lava rocks sit in the water..clean the buckets.
5...take fitting from buckets and add to a cup filled with hydrogen peroxide let sit
6...clean buckets with hot water and hydrogen peroxide....dry bucket
7...take fittings out of cup clean off and clean inside fittings..then wash off and put back into buckets.
8... use a colander and add lava rock to it and run hot water over the lava rock as you move them around...then add warm..then cold water this will help make the roots brittle and easy to remove...shake off all water.
9...put rocks back into buckets
10 ...set room back up with all new lines...
