Harvest time! Only this time there were some problems that made me take another approach. The thrips are still active so I thought it would not be very wise to lock them up together with the bud inside a paper bag. So I’ve decided to just cut the entire top part of the plant main stem and all, and hang them inside the top of the tent. But ofcourse not before I have given them a thorough shake. Then from the lower part of the plant where still some bigger buds, which I’ve also cut, trimmed and shaken clean, before they did ended up inside the bag, leaving just the lowest part of the plant with all of the small buds I’ve intended to use to germinate and create some seeds. At this point the remaining part of the plants are inside my small garden greenhouse, and I’ll keep you posted if it’s going to succeed. Normally I’d preferred to trim the bigger leaf from the wet branches, then dry inside my paper bag and finally trimming the dry buds for bringing up the final bag appeal. Only now I’d chose to only remove the fan leaf and hang drying. I turned the ventilation almost on the lowest setting during drying. As I said with the strain review, I’m happy with the results from plant A and C. Plant B started revegging, and thus ended up with a lower end weight. A shame because it had the biggest buds. The positive thing about dry trimming is that you don’t actually have to trim anything, it takes a bit more time, but you can literally push the leafs from the bud.

Everything is on point. I’m at day 35 of flowering. I remember a while back there were a lot of Barney’s farm haters saying they only got hermaphrodites or whatever their bs. Either you just sucked as a grower or you got an absolute fluke. Everything I have ever ordered from Barney’s farm has not only been stellar. But everything I have grown from them vs the same strain from other breeders , Barney’s farm has always taken number one. Many thanks to those wonderful people at BF across the world. Keep it up. Week 3 In the beginning of Week 3 I used 1/2 teaspoon of Grow Big which was a mistake! They really just needed to be left alone! Showed the tiniest bit of nute burn on the tips and when I saw that I went straight to checking PPM which was at like 1500 (yikes) and flushed until I got it down by 300 ppm. Should have waited until the 3rd set of leaves to feed! Luckily it was caught early and they are flourishing with no further issues. The side lighting from the T5 bulb really seems to be helping. They are really going along nicely, here's hoping I can get them through the net few weeks in the same fashion :) Moved the light down from 28 inches in the beginning to 17/18 inches by the end of week 3. The plants seem to love it and aren't showing any signs of heat/light stress

Vamos familia que ya actualizamos la cosecha de estas Frosted Guava de Zamnesia. Vaya flores que se han marcado repletas de tricomas, parecen escarcha y las flores se marcan aromas muy tropicales, la verdad que únicos. Es una variedad bastante fácil de cultivar pero al tener un periodo de floración algo más largo, hay que estar pendiente de alimentarlas bien, gracias Agrobeta en mi sala es posible. Temperaturas máximas en 24 y mínimas en 20 y una humedad estable en torno al 36%. Las mantuve 10 semanas pero facilmente si se quedan 11 tampoco estaría mal, yo las vi bien maduras y ya tenía tricomas ambar así que les di matarile. Day 64. All looking good. Gave her some banana fertilizer and some Blackstrap molasses. Sprayed all the foliage around her again with safe insecticide and found some aphid nests around her too and nuked them 😎. Little defoliation of popcorn bud sites and leaves feeding into the branches and stems blocking sun from bud sites. Water only with molasses for the next 3 weeks. Weather is looking great for the next few weeks so looking forward to end result! 🤓 Day 68. She is starting to buff out 😍. Gave her some water with molasses.

Last week only watering one time and let the plant dry our for 3-4 days. There is not much to trim as the buds are rock solid and big.

Day 10F-17F (Day 10F) Everything is looking on point. I’m going to soak in a gallon of lite compost tea diluted to 400ppms on each plant except for #5. I’m still a little worried I won’t make it through the stretch but at the same time I fear N toxicity just as much. I will give one more lite tea before the end of stretch, most likely at the end of this week. (Day 12F) Ladies responded nicely to the tea except for BBB#1. It just isn’t looking as vigorous as it was last week. It’s the only one without an air hose so I guess it couldn’t hurt to grab one. The air hose does without a doubt prevent overwatering in soil and I’m surprised I don’t see more people using it. It’s cheap, effective and gives me similar results to growing in pure coco. I’m going to give one more light foliar spray of 3ml of calmag, 3ml of kelp and 2.5ml of insect frass. (Day 14) Got the air hose hooked up to all 5 plants now. I hate that I’ve been forced to defoliate so much in early flower and it is definitely reducing bud size. Last round my bbb’s had pistil clumps twice the size at this time and they were dealing with severe deficiencies. I’m hoping it’s just genetics or the fact they are larger plants. (Day 15) I’m starting to see signs of N toxicity on the some of the new growth and overall growth on all plants except #1 has slowed. It was most likely caused by the foliar spray/tea combo. No more feeding anything for the next 12 days at least. Luckily it’s still pretty early in flower but I know that N tox can hit really hard after the stretch stops. I would be pretty upset if I vegged for 80 days only to get severe N tox in mid flower. Since it’s not breaking down in the soil, I should be fine. I’m going to defoliate some more of the large bottom fan leaves as they hold large reserves of extra nutes I don’t need. Hopefully these small defoliations aren’t stressing them at all. Next round I plan to do a big strip one week before flower, at transplant and a second big strip on day 21. (Day 17) I think I was over-worrying about the seriousness of the N tox. I’ve seen it hit very hard in mid flower and can’t be too careful. It’s almost always caused by water soluble nitrogen so I’ll try to stay away from that unless I absolutely need it. My case does not look to alarming just yet. I noticed the stunting on #3 right after that last tea so I am going to stop giving the last liter of compost tea because of how unbalanced and separated at the bottom it is. It sure helped out the other 4 plants that didn’t get the granulars from the bottom of the bucket. I‘m planning to give a bloom tea around day 26 and a final top dress a few days later. #1 has now out stretched everything else in the tent. I honestly was not expecting that. If #3 didn’t get stunted this whole week I think it would be the taller/heavier plant.

12/1: She's scheduled for execution on Tuesday (maybe Wednesday) Hooray!😋 The bottom part of the closet seems empty with only 9 plants in there.. 😟 I cut the harvested plants up and put them into drying baskets in the top of my closet with a small oscillating fan on. I've got the temperature fluctuating between 68f and 75f and the RH is staying between 48% and 52%. To do that, I had to take down the small light in the top of the closet to fit the drying baskets up there. So, I moved the 3 shorter plants still up there, including the Stardawg, down to the bottom and put them on top of buckets. Now the bottom of the closet looks full again!😃 I'm anxious to finish up this grow so I can get busy growing the Fastbuds Fast Flowering Photo Testers!!! When I harvest the next 5, I'll flush the remaining plants really well and that will be all the flushing they'll get..I'll let them dry back out for a few days and harvest them. I've got to make some minor improvements to the garden (adding UV, blue and red/far red booster panels and intake fans) That should put me on track to start germinating them by mid-December if all goes well.

This week has been great! Germination on all 4 Pre 98 Bubbas and 2 Dirty Blondes was a success!! We planted them in there pots an through out the week we gave em each a very light spray down of pure water phd at 6.5 and by Friday they all popped out the soil Let’s go!!!!! Next week we will start light feed on nutrients , so y’all keep them eyes peeled for next updates an I appreciate y’all for following my grow !!😶‍🌫️💨💨💨🙏🏻💚💯🤙🏻

Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and getting chunky. Hopefully she keeps growing well until the end. Thanks for the views…keep calm and grow on!

The two larger (and older) CBD Cracks are looking very good, the younger one needs to kick it's butt into gear! We have a heat wave going through right now so hopefully they'll like it😎 I went out to water early this morning so they got a little lime water. I was hoping for a little more growth this week but hopefully the lime will do it's trick and help them along. They have plenty of nutes in the soil to use up and I don't want to mess with them too much early on. And yes, I did put tomato cages in their bags because my evil, spiteful cat was trying to dig in there and take a 💩 and I really don't need that...
