I won't say it was a perfect growing experience, because i kept running into problems with keeping the lights a good distance away, but that was the most difficult problem I faced. It was definitely a very successful do-over. Both of these plants easily were 2 times the size (width/height) of my 1st sour stomper attempt, they yielded at least double and in Plant A's case...triple. And all by the few simple changes of using LEDs earlier in the grow, larger pots, being in a tent and having one tiny duct fan. My nutrient regimen stayed pretty low and for the most part the same as previous grow. However in my opinion one of the most crucial differences was having them in the 3 gallon pots. They didn't dry out as quickly and they were able to be soaked more effectively than the 1 gallon smart pot had been. For me this was a very important grow on grow diaries as this was basically Part 2 of my first indoor, man made grow. Learning these minimal differences in how to have plants turn out enormously better was essential to any future indoor grows I might do, even though I'm sure i just skimmed the surface on potential problems that could occur and how to fix them. The buds from this grow were not only dense enough to be worth smoking, but every piece of the plant including its leaves will be useful for pressing. The couple presses i did on this plant so far had a beautiful golden color, an amazing smell, and had zero plant byproducts inside it from using the 90 micron bags. The only downfall with the micron bags and the pucks are they retain a fair amount of the pressed rosin, the only solutions I can think of would be to add them to an edibles mixture or to stack them all up and continue repressing. All in all this was a fantastic grow, and I'm very grateful for all the support and for mephisto for making such a solid strain.

Week 1 day 4 of flower, sorry about the late update. Nothing to report just flipped the light schedule to 12/12 and fed 20g of ecothrive life cycle, kneaded into the top soil and watered in well with dechlorinated tap water. Happy growing.

Was hesitant but decided to soil drench a couple of times with CannControl to try to keep their numbers down. Plant is looking fine so I’m not too worried. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Starting to stack up nicely.

At 91 days from seed, 36 days into bloom, she is drinking about 2 liters (1/2 gal) per day. It has been a little warm in the tent which has caused her to drink more. Since she is drinking more than normal, the tips of her leaves look a little burnt. I think my nutrient levels would be fine if she weren't drinking so much. It's only slight burn though so she'll be fine. She still smells great but is actually one of the less pungent plants I've grown. So it’s a nice smell but its not overpowering. It looks like its going to be a bountiful harvest. I upped the terpinator added to the minimum recommended dose suggested by the manufacturer. Not much to do but wait and watch her put on weight.

Day one of week 4. Nutes (BioBizz Grow) 50% of recommended dose have gone in today, I will increase the dose to 1ml for the next watering in 2/3 days. Will introduce BioBizz Bloom next week if no Nutes burn this week. Will do some more LST training tomorrow after another full 18 hrs of sun.. UPDATE - 13th September: Day 2 of week 4, gave the girls a very little trim and some more LST today.. New growth coming through nicely.. UPDATE - 14th September: Day 3 of week 4, Nutes (BioBizz Grow) went in today at 1ml per litre. A little more LST and I finally topped the girls 😍.. UPDATE: 16th September: Day 5 of week 4, 3rd lot of BioBizz Grow Nutes at 1ml/l per plant. Pleased with my four ladies progress so far! Peace ✌️🏼 🍃

Week 19 for Gelato 41 by seedstockers, Shes just getting so big, she was defoliated again at the start of the week & was given a dry amendments bloom feed by greenhousefeeding. And shes being fed 10L of plain water every morning.

Day 50 last day of the dense nut the pm is at 5.8 and the ppm is at 270 all looking good put a ac in there today will run with light on for next week or so Day 51 first day of flush!!! Ppm at 50 ph at 6.0 I found other top flower with bud rot on the big plant this time humidity is to high in there 60% now don't have a dehumidifier and it's lot of wet days this week any tips to lower it with out one just more air moving? Day 55 I think it is done I'm going to gave it lots of cold from the ac and tern light out Earley tonight and cut tomorrow im thinking 🤔 Note the smell of the small plant in the back is bark purple and smells tropical so good where the other 2 smell like dank skunk and gas ⛽ so strange

This is a 5 week old from clone borderliner extreme. My personal favorite to grow and smoke. It gets huge sticky bugs, finishes in 7 to 8 weeks from flip, and gets you super stoned. You can even let it go to 9 weeks if you want a smoke that leaves you in the couch for the rest of the night. If you've never tried a properly grown borderliner extreme from AMS, you're missing out.

Been a rainy week here and things are starting to heat up. Humidity and temperature a little higher than ideal. Not really noticing too much smell yet but my house always smells like weed so who knows. There is a very pungent lemon sme when touching the leaves so we’ll see what she does!

She looks beautiful:) I cleaned her leaves, she's not big, I haven't had many photo growths, but those times were faster, but this girl really has a lot of branches,:) which makes me happy:) I'll give her another week 18/6 :) good luck to all:)
