A great week of growth and development. Did a small defoliation, and clean of the tent. The girls are very leafy, and some of that needed to go to increase air flow and prevent issues from developing. Love this time of growing as there is not much to do, but watch the buds stack! Training > topping, defoliation, and LST, using a cage for the first time, liked a lot to model a even canopy. Girls wore grown in 15l fabric pots, I choose a higher pot so is not wide, my idea was to grow three, felt that 25l pots still ideal, the girls net bigger and have more room for the roots. She was constant feed > Watering 1 = Base Nutes + Recharge . > Watering 2 = Boosters. > Preventive Cal Mag every 15days +- . Based on my feeling, and the leafs color I released some nutes or added so this is just an Idea on my schedule, no expressive or relevant burning. — — — My LED started to fail in mid cycle, so the light intensity started to vary, and i feel the matrix is not working and full potencial anymore. At first was hard to control the RH but in a few weeks i have got a hang of it, and all went ok besides my LED. Liked a lot this cycle, was flawless, simple and rewarding, only downfall was the weight, but everything was new, the tent, the pots size, the nutrient line, so on, so i’m satisfied. Weight is compensated over quality, none the less she was not heavy flushed, without the cure she was already tasting amazing, butter smooth, and white ash. When you open the jar a very pungent sweet, berry like smell comes out mixed with a pleasant cheese cake sour end. Potency is above average, 3 hits are what I can take, a bit more and the fun is over and the experience becomes too strong for me. The effect is just perfect for a night smoke, to me is instant, I feel mainly on the body, just want to lay and relax. Just perfect for our needs home. Smoke is clean and easy to smoke, you feel the joy of the usual insense smell around, very strong, stealth smoking is not a option, taste is sweet and fruity, easy to overdo. —— UPDATE 1 Vaping is a joy, the effects are more controlled as you have the temps to do that. The terpenes profile is very pronunced with the Volcano and the Davinci IQ, Pine berryes is what i taste. At this point buds are curing woth boveda 62 for 1 1/2 weeks, then I will change the humidity pack to a dryer one.

Both got a light defoliation. The Skywalker is clearly in Preflower but the Afgahni wants to wait a bit longer... So both have a time for 8 Weeks i thinks thats not gonna happen 😅

Day 16 week 3 of flowering. Wow this girl has really stretched!!! She is up against the light & I can't raise the light anymore as the fan & filter is above the light up against the roof. Had to super crop the tallest branch & have tried to open her up some more with some serious bending & tying down carefully as the stems split pretty easily. Defoliated her & some more lolliepoping, she is going to grow some really nice big buds 👍

It's been a big week for these girls and I have a LOT of photos as well as a video. It's a lot to rearrange because I should have uploaded them in better order. Maybe I'll fix it later, but for now most of the content from 8/5 is before 8/1 On 8/1 I purchased some spent hardwood substrate blocks from a local mushroom farmer down the road. I crumbled them around the base of each plant. My main reasoning was because of the Night Nurse that's been having some problems, but in the end I think all the plants will benefit from the added mycelium, especially during this flowering phase. The mycelium will spread through the root network allowing a greater uptake of nutrients in trade for sugars, which I'm supplementing in the form of molasses. I also defoliated the fan leaves on 8/5 since we're only a couple weeks from harvest. I think it was a good sign that those leaves were strong and weren't easy to come off. We got a lot of rain that day!

Day 35 is here. We are a week into flower and most the plants are just starting to hit that flowering stretch. I have been bending them down a little every couple days, but I need to focus on cleaning up some of the bottom branches so we can keep good air flow through the plants. Will work on that through this next week. I haven't done a water change, just been topping off the reservoir with fresh nutrients as they drink it up. Feeding half and half maxigro and maxibloom. Will cut out the maxigro in a couple weeks when I notice their stretch slowing down. I had a plant overflow this week because the drain line is getting full of roots. I noticed a couple roots have made their way into the reservoir already. I set a pump timer to 1 minute on and 20 minutes off so they can drain properly. I would like to make it through the grow without having to mess with the drains, but we will see what happens. I will make some modifications if needed. Other than that everything is running smooth and I hope we have some little pistils to show by next week. Thanks for stopping by ✌️

Well my friend i have just come from my trip and the girls look oretty good exept for one she has some deficincy and overwatering symptom. My automatic irrigation system pumped alittle bit too much water but nothing to worry. So i topped girls and started to lrepare them for my forst ever scrog Happy 420

Smell off these is unbelievable

Had a hell of a week with Blue Dream 2. In the previous week I had added some molasses to the nutrient solution, 2 of the 3 plants took very well to it. However Blue Dream 2 got a real bad case of root rot. I ended up having to trim up the roots, and do a hard rinse on them. I flushed a bit with Hydrogen Peroxide and then let it soak in a resevoir with nothing but hydroguard for 36 hours. The other two had a small outbreak, but nothing near Blue Dreams 2. All in all a few days later she has recovered. Thats the biggest reason I added the tomato cages, blue dream 2, with weak stems already (got to find a silica supplement next run) she couldn't hold up the buds. After she recovered I just put the cages around all 3. I want to say 2 more weeks, but am still super green to all this, I'll post pics of the buds and tell me what you guys think. Cheers

Day 22 - Plant is 6 inches tall. Tons of roots sticking down into the water. Checked PPM 215. PAR/PPFD ranges from 200 to 270 at the height of the plant. Day 25 - Plant is 9 inches tall and 12 inches wide. Water dropped a lot. PPM was 100. Added 2 gallons of RO. Added 10 mL of CalMag. Added 10 mL of the 3 base nutes Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 5 mL of each of the additives. PPM was 515. Day 26 - Plant is 11 inches tall. Fast growth! Short and bushy. Roots are thick as spaghetti noodles and formed a thick rootball. Nearly a dozen budsites. Stem is thicker then a pencil. Day 27 - PPM is 415 in am. Afternoon PPM is 370. Plant is 12 inches tall. PAR/PPFD is 400 to 450 near the top of the plant. DLI is 27 based on 20 hours on and 4 hours off. Late night checked PPM 375. Added 10 mL of Micro Grow and Bloom nutes. PPM is 810. Day 28 - PPM is 775. The plant is getting huge. The stock is about as thick as a Bic lighter. Plant is 13 inches tall.

If somebody is thinking about their first strain this is a good start. Just try to avoid some basic mistakes and all should be just fine.

20/3/2020: Finally Im gonna try with LST because of im growing indoors in night and outdoors during day and the artificial light will be much more efficient with this technique. Probably I will let Lemon Haze grow naturally , at least at the starting. Stay tunned !!

The plants are growing fast, we forgot to check pH in this week but no problems.

My gas tax plant is looking absolutely incredible right now. It's got these massive buds that are super dense and have this awesome dark color to the leaves. I'm so excited to see how it turns out when it's finally ready to be harvested. I've been checking the height, the thickness of the stem, and the density of the buds to get an idea of how much longer I have to wait. I think I might start flushing it soon. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

Hey guys and girls :) Week 4 little update. These girls could be boys and also, I am pretty sure these are not automatic :) They take a long time to develop and grow. You can also see they developed some insufficiency, the leaves don't look god. Do you guys know what is this and can it be solved with natural solutions? I will not add any nutrients. I mean will not add anything they sale as nutes. Any "gandma's" remedy guys? Feel free to advise! Thanks for watching and will update next week!
