Cette semaine 3 et 4 a été sans plus un seul bémol est que ma deuxième fille qui montrait nettement des nuances violettes sur ses pointes de têtes s’est cassé pendant un essai de LST, faute entièrement personnelle, j’assume néanmoins on continue avec quand même. La 2e s’est étiré un peu et a reçu parfaitement son LST et a même commencé à montré ses pistils de pré floraison donc on engraisse. Du coup on a profité de ces essai de LST sur les deux fifilles pour commencer les engrais BIO GROW & BIO TOP MAX et bientôt BIO BLOOM pour la phase complète de floraison. Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. No change in fertilizing behavior I performed lollipopping today, as the plant started to shed leaves that did not get enough light on its own Plants look splendid and have also handled the pruning well I hope that the stretch will calm down by the end of next week otherwise I will have problems but as I said everything is tip-top so far If you notice things that I can do better, do not hesitate to tell me, Thanks for stopping by and see you next week :)

I originally had applied to Green House Seed Co.'s Taste of the USA Contest here on Grow Diaries. Turns out I was ineligible but the good folks at GHS still had the big hearts to send me seeds anyway. So big ups to them for hooking this grower up. Welcome to the Sea of Fire 🔥 For this grow were using the Dark Phoenix seeds that GHS sent to me to create a Sea of Green. I've got 8 plants in 8 1L pots. I've decided to use Black Swallow's living soil for this grow so we won't need to add anything but water for the first 3 weeks or so. Our goal for this grow is to have these girls ready for harvest in about 20 weeks which will bring us to the beginning of November 2021. If all goes according to plan these firey buds should be filling my friends stockings this Christmas.

Week 6 has come and gone. It’s safe to say that this plant is done stretching. Quite a growth spurt from week 4 till now. Time to pack on the buds. Buds are really developing this week. Looking like they are already turning purple. Lots of frost starting in just the second week of flower which makes me very happy and excited to see what she can do in the coming weeks. This plant is sucking up the water now, I’m having to water 1.25 gallons in my 5 gallon fabric pot every 3 days. I’ve defoliated quite a bit but I think one more round will be needed this week. She has had ZERO signs of any nutrient issues thus far so I’m hitting her with 2.2EC on the next water. I’m very happy with the plant growth, although I could have tied down the two taller branches a little better. The crazy thing is they are the second branch on the plant so they started all the way at the bottom. Gotta love LST. It’s looking like I’ll have 10-12 main branches producing well.

Fed her some more fish fertilizer and bat guano for the slight yellowing pre flower. Her green is coming back. This will be my first skunk without seed.

This week they had more water and more knf soil soak , Including fish amino acid , lacto basilicas, WSK, WCAP , OHN . Bud booster this week probably bac bloom stimulatior.

64 days after i planted her seed directly in a pot outside 😱the reaper came, i hung her upside down for 6days then cut her &put her on a net to dry some more While cutting I found some little catterpillars about 5 guess that were the eggs that I found on some of the plants last week.☺️ After a few days drying on the net i weighed it:53,6gr The taste is great I'm very happy with the result catterpillars included☺️

17 Oct 2021 Today is the 45th day of flower, and according to Humboldt Seed Company, my Ladies should be ready to harvest!! I took several trichome pics of each plant today to check and see if they are ready; and they are!! Awesome! I’ll upload all the pics today for your viewing pleasure. Week 15 officially kicked off yesterday, but today is the first entry of the flush in order to get my girls ready for harvest. Each of my plants received a gallon of water with properly adjusted pH. The initial pH for C1 was 6.9, C2 was 7.0, and C3 was 7.1. I added .2ml of pH DOWN to each gallon which adjusted all of them to 6.4. The TDS going in for C1 & C2 was 85 ppm, and C2 was 84 ppm. Runoff measurements were as follows: C1 - pH: 5.8, TDS: 1796 ppm. C2 - pH: 5.7, TDS: 2086 ppm. C3 - pH: 5.6, TDS: 1979 ppm. The tent temp was 82F, and humidity was 42%. My plants are doing great, and I’ll be flushing with fresh water for the remainder of the grow until it’s time to harvest in a week or two. Hopefully they’ll be done in time for the Diary of the Month contest, but in reality, I’ll just be glad when they’re done! Happy growing everyone!! 21 Oct 2021 I have been a lazy bastard lately. I wanted to water my plants two days ago, but didn’t. Then I wanted to water them yesterday, but again, I didn’t. There isn’t any reason really other than just plain laziness. Today I’ve decided to stop being lazy and to continue the flush of my lovely plants! Each plant is getting a gallon of properly pH’ed water and nothing else. The details for each gallon are as follows: Initial pH for C1 & C2 was 7.0, and C3 was 7.1. I added 0.2 ml of pH DOWN to each gallon which adjusted the pH of all 3 gallons to 6.3. That’s what they were given; a gallon of fresh water with a pH of 6.3. The TDS level going in was 58 ppm for C1, and 86 ppm for both C2 & C3. Runoff levels were as follows: C1 - pH 5.9, TDS 1234 ppm. C2 - pH 5.8, TDS 1326 ppm. C3 - pH 5.7, TDS 1182 ppm. The TDS level for all three plants fell significantly from the first flushing a few days ago. Hopefully the levels will continue to drop quickly so the harvest can commence! My ladies are all starting to show their age now by looking at their fan leaves. Some of them have begun that late flower stage dry out, but not many. The plants are still looking great and their buds are starting to weigh down some of the branches. I’m going to get a few more support sticks to keep them from being weighed down too much and breaking. I’d hate to lose anymore branches before I cut them off on purpose. The 2nd week passed with a bit of a hitch, because the girl is still small and she doesn't emit any smell, I hadn't turned on the ventilation filter, as a result I saw that the trunk was full of condensation - 100% humidity..... but I probably noticed in time and turned on the ventilation, the humidity decreased, and everything is going smoothly now, on the 14th day the main ring was cut so that the girl wouldn't think of being taller and I wouldn't have problems with the growing space, which is already small :) good luck to everyone.

I can already tell this will be my favorite strain. The frost is just insane

Beginning of week 8. Cutting down the feed strength by half before going full flush mode week 9+. Starting to look at tricnome color to determine final day to cut. How long do you flush with rockwool?

Tag 82: Hab mich nun doch entschieden , da die Trichome wirklich zu 90% Milchig sind , die Dame am Stamm abzuhacken . (Extra ein kleines Beil gekauft (scherz)) . Dann im Stück einfach Kopfüber . Abluft ist an , Ventilator unter der Spitze . Jetzt noch 4-5 Tage warten (je nach Temp und Feuchte) . Und dann schauen wir mal was es wird .Für mich wichtig , viel Feuchtigkeit im Raum , ich will das sie auch nach dem Trocknen noch kleben . Ergo hab ich den Stoftopf drinne stehen gelassen . Tag 82-88: Kopfübertrocknung + Temperatur : 21°C - 23°C) + Lüftfeuchtigkeit : 52%rH-60%rH + VPD kleiner gleich 1.2 + 4 bis 5 Tage Ich versuche maximal einen VPD von 1.2 zu halten für ca 4-5 Tage. Tag 85: Ein Video hinzugefühgt wo ihr das Trockenzelt sehen könnt. Die LED hab ich genau unter der Abluft angebracht damit kein einseitiger Luftzug entsteht, dafür mit mehr Power . Tag 86: Video von der Kopfüberhängenden hinzugefühgt. Tag 88: 5 Tage lang getrocknet , Blüten vom Stiel getrennt und in Schalen in den Weinkühlschrank mit Silikatgel für die Feuchteregelung. Tag 90: Trichome aufgenommen. CureBoxen geschlossen nach 2 Tagen im Weinkühler Next Step: Bouveda 58% , Sauerstoffabsorbierer

Definitely happy with the grow and the quality of the smoke

Buds are forming nicely, slowly lowering moisture going to stay at 40% till last 2 weeks. The Transition to Bloom formula is now complete and they are receiving full bloom nutrients.

Topped 2 plants 8 days ago, The new growth is loving life!!! Flowering will likely start in the next several days and the plants ability to recover quickly from topping done last week is a good sign for these girls future.......5/22 pre flowering beginning!!!!
