~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 2/2- Here we go Week Nine! These ladies are past the 60 day mark since breaking ground and are in the home stretch! The 2 phenotypes are about equal in flower development. Their flowers are densely stacked and have a beautiful purple and pink hue contrasted by numerous bright orange pistils that are showing. The #2 is a beast with wide spread branching and plentiful bud sites! The #1 has had her issues and is a markedly different phenotype, but she's LOADED with some absolutely phenomenal flowers! It never fails that all the plants I've grown that experienced some sort of major issue have all turned out to be stellar! I'll keep rubbing my rabbits foot! 😎 Daily watering with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which is ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ continues as these girls stay thirsty! 2/4- Yesterday I watered today with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. I also removed some shade leaves that had begun to yellow and checked trichomes on the #2... not yet. 🔎 2/6- This evening I put the #1 phenotype in the dark after checking her trichomes which were right where I want them at this point. She'll spend 48-72hrs in the dark with a fan on her and I'll also maintain the moisture in her pot so it doesn't dry out. I watered today, removed some shade leaves from the #2's canopy and turned her pot. The 2202 testers really look absolutely AMAZING and I can't wait to see them when they finish up! 🤩💚 2/8- Well, the #1 is hanging peacefully drying slowly at 64℉ @ 60% RH and should be ready to trim in 6-8 days +/-. The #2 is absolutely beautiful with her purple coloration getting more pronounced as she fades! I'll be putting her in the dark in the next 2-3 days to spend 48-72hrs before she gets cut and hung! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Today 23/07/22 We are two days into week 5, never talked about nutrient or water’ problems I had some leaves with few yellow marks but very small one beside that I always saw my plants green and happy, here you can see the scrog I set up yesterday not sure if this will work better but I think will help the branches grow further from the others increasing the light they riceve! I made it myself I will order one for the next grown when I will get my grow box! The watermelon is already flowering but the northern light no so today I started feeding the plants with different preparations.. I kept on giving the grow booster with a bit of bloom booster and viceversa for the watermelon! If you have any tips anything you think I’m doing wrong or you see it’s not ok let me know I don’t grow in a box I grow between the curtains and my window so the environment wasn’t always the perfect one

Riego con aminoácidos solubles y un poco de PK orgánico!!! Hemos regado hoy también (7/07) con toda la gama Atami VGN + Biotabs Bactrex Ec 1.05

Desgraciadamente el cultivo se quedó estancado en altura y demás. Estoy decepcionado pero la próxima saldrá mejor, no haré tantas podas y quizás cultive automáticas para cosechar rápido

Day 71 - Starting week 11 today and starting to see a few orange and brown pistils but still plenty of healthy white ones but trichs are still clear with a few milky in there. All looks good and will be ready for some water tomorrow. Day 72 - Nothing new, noticing a bit more pistils shriveling up a bit so I’ll probably give her another week or so and then possibly start flushing her. She did get 2 gallons of plain water today. Day 74 - She’s still chunking up quite a bit and looks like the pistils are finally starting to fade a bit but a ton still nice and healthy. Another day or two and she’ll be ready for some water again. Day 75 - She’s coming down to the end with just a couple weeks left. She needs some water so gave her 2 gallons today and next watering I’ll start the pre-harvest feeding with just MagiCal and SugarDaddy. Day 76 - Nothing new today, just a forest of trees getting fat and stinky. Day 77 - The end of week 11 and still looks like she’s got a good couple weeks left, as of right now. Not gonna give her any nutes and just plain water from here on out.

The flowering stage lasted a total of 66 days, ending with harvest on April 11, 2024. Throughout this phase, we followed the most complete high nutrients program, ensuring consistent support for the plants. While most strains responded well, an old Red Sour and one Shogun showed signs of overfertilization, likely due to their sensitivity. In contrast, the Monster Seeds genetics stood out, performing excellently from the beginning of flowering to harvest — healthy, stable, and vigorous until the end.

Lots of SCROG work this week tucking the girls in. It seems to be very rewarding but takes a lot of time. The plants seem to have grown a lot in just a couple of days this week. Really happy about that 😌 It's been a good week and it feels like some of the work put in seems to be showing. We are having some issues with the pH raising in our tank. It was 6.6 today so we lowered it. Hopefully that's not the cause of the yellowing leaf tips. Will have to keep a better eye on the pH from now on. Humidity and lack of space keeps making some leaves wet, so we put a third fan under the canopy. Let's hope the air circulation is sufficient now. We are done with defoliation for now. One lonely thrip was seen flying around the grow area but they are getting less and less. We've been anticipating flipping the flower the whole week. Got a better dehumidifier at the end of the week, and did it. Humidity was finally in check and the flower was flipped on day 41 😎 Every SCROG hole was filled with a bud site before the flip. That amounts to a crazy number of 225. Let's see how they develop!
