Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it. Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances. I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress. When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+- The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches. The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like. Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment. Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough. 5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated. Crystal candy XL auto ordered x10 Gorilla glue, Pineapple Express and Cali Kush waiting in the wings. I have these already If I can be anymore help to anyone let me know. After defoliating both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants after week 11 they now develop more and amore flower clusters, since the light can penetrate deeper int the canopy now. The plants are producing trichomes like crazy, even the bigger sugar leaves are covered in them! VERY FROSTY PLANTS! The flower clusters clearly form colas now along all side branches and both plants fill up nicely. The smell is now strong and sweet with a clear peach aroma to it, it makes me smile every time I look into the tent. The plants love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and are getting the recommended dose every watering.

The week ends Mar-31, being day 91 - week 12 of flowering since flipping the lights / day 75 since from first pistils shown. This strain is expected to flower 60-70 days. Harvested the plant in 2 stages over a 10 day period. Lower buds got exposed to more light and definitely seem to have ripened further since the tops were harvested. Fertigation was resumed using GHE Ripen for first 5 days followed by a flush and water only (no pH adjustments) for the last 5 days. The remainder of the plant was trimmed, manicured and separated into A, B grades and trim/larf buds. The buds and sugar leaves are completely covered in resin glands - glistening away in every angle. This last harvest was done after an extended period of darkness (24hrs). Trichomes across the board looked good and ready with 70% cloudy, 10% amber and 20% clear. The water consumption definitely was slowing down in the last week. The drying buds have a very strong strawberry smell after being hung, whilst during the harvest and trimming there was no noticeable scent of weed. Really great stealth type of plant for harvesting :) Using the tent now as a drying area maintaining a higher humidity of 50-60% between 17-19*C, hopefully to extend the drying period whilst hung. Buds are placed in jars once dry to touch then managed until in the curing zone. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. Harvest day for 2 plants , I forgot to take a picture of the 1st plant when pre trimmed , both are pretty huge , the 1st plant I expected her to be a lot smaller than what I got in my hand once cut down, the second plant was huge from the start , there is still a monster finishing her buds in the tent left so I I left this grow unfinished due to that for the moment

Ambers came in quickly overnight. So i decided to chop her. She looks good and smells great. A fresh sweet lemony scent. Overal happy with how she turned out. Cant wait to smoke her. 4/4: all trimmed and in grove bags.

Having just started a Sweet seeds + speed Auto, Red poison auto from sweet seeds was next on my list to be grown with Jack 47 in my arsenal after that. I'm already growing some sensible seeds strains so I didn't want to dip into them. I considered buying a seed for the 'one girl one cup challenge' aka Solo cup competition but knew I'd send myself crazy deciding which I should use. I had half decided I wanted to go Indica dominant as an entry for their shorter size anyway so...... after looking at images online of the Red Poison, I thought it would actually be a good choice. "....So a 16oz cup is a what now?" pint - no litre- no half pint - no 500ml - nope 473ml - yes, ah ha! 473ml = Nothing, the size doesn't exist in the UK. online I can get 10 delivers fow a few quid. I'm not paying that, I'll find something..... Closest ( It's near perfect to be honest) I found was an, ahem... recent... 30 and fab cup. I've videoed it's contents as proof I'm thinking as Indica she's gonna drink a lot (compared to sativas in my opinion) but I also have no drainage. Even though I think she may be a big drinker, I'm not worried about her drying out so much, she'll quickly bounce back from a drying out with a drink. I'm more worried of Over watering I still need to (at time of writing this) actually make a homemade tent first, buy some (probably 2) cheap bulb fixtures, I've still got some foil blanket left from other tents I've made and I've got some spare house hold LEDs I'll bang something together......

Had a bit of a cat-tastrophy this week. I left my tent open to go and fill a bucket of water, came back and zipped it up. What I didn't know is that the cat got in. Not 5 minutes later I can hear all sorts of shit moving around so I came in to find I had zipped him and and he went bonkers and bent almost every branch on the Skunk. So I had to do emergency tie jobs, but I ended up losing 2 medium colas and 1 small one. Could have been much worse if the skrog net wasn't there to stop them from snapping. Injuries look like bent plastic straws, so I'm going to be watching her closely to see if she herms from that massive amount of stress. Some of the pics have cat hair in them, thank the little brat. Anyway, Skunk is a 45-50 day finisher so I'm going another week and then she gets the chop. Lots of microscope videos today and finally found an amoeba. Also something moving in an egg...what is it? That's at 400x so I think it's a nematode egg based on what I found online. If you look closely at the super zoomed in trichome shot, you can see the reflections of other trichomes...just fucking epic.👏 All the food stops now, too much in the soil for her to start senescence. Nothing but water and FFJ now. New pistils are still coming in so who knows, maybe she'll keep going a few more weeks.

Week 9 started, nothing much has changed from week 8, just looking at buds and trying to notice the changes in size and just checking in. Plants look well, mostly buds, some lower leaves arent that healthy but probably due to light. Still adding flower nutriens, because I think harvest could be one or two weeks away, could flush later. Not sure if I should add even more water? Cant really tell from plants. Hoping this week buds will get bigger in size, currently they seem pretty small still. Week 9 ended, plant 1 has nice big bugs, some brown-ish flowers, sad that it outgrew space, some top buds were burnt by light, plant no 2 which was under secondary light also have nice big buds (this light has more red color i think), also this plant outgrew its space and had burnt top buds from light, but it looks almost ready, lots of brown flowers, also it has leaves with marks and issues, so already started to flush it, plant no 3 has nice frosty buds, but they are smaller in size, either lightning setup didnt reach it or maybe it was because of all the stress it recieved in vegetation weeks. Defoliated plants, which I think now is kind of mistake, should remove only the big fan leaves, no the small ones, perhaps thats why plant no 3 has smaller buds, because it recieved lots of defolation lately. Changed up lightning setup and moved plants around for better light conditions. Plant no 1 or no 2 could actually be ready for harvest or in few days, im not really sure, Im waiting on all plants for harvest, because will use grow space for drying and curing. Also I've shoulde started flushing somewhere this week, now Im going to start flushing only at end of week which could be too late.

Last week, instead of 2 g of GHSC Powder Feeding, I only gave 1.5 g p l of substrate so that I can give you another 1 g per l of substrate next week so that it lasts until the end :-). It is developing very well and the buds are starting to grow :-). The week was poured 3 times with 1.1 l each time. once of them GHSC Enhancer was added :-). The bottom shoots have now also been removed :-). As always, the humidifier was refilled every day and the lady was checked for her health. I hope you enjoy the update.
