In week 6 the twelve AK-47 plants from SERIOUS SEEDS continue to THRIVE and in the meantime they have TOTALLY FILLED OUT the space in the HOMEBOX tent. Therefore on day 41 (=flowering day 13) its time to DEFOLIATE the plants and take off the biggest fan-leaves and lowest branches of each plant (see in video). In this second week of flowering they continue to get fed every watering with MILLS NUTRIENTS (following their feeding schedule from the MILLS website I changed from 1 ml START-R to 1 ml of C-4 now) and since they have a healthy dark-green color nothing further needs to be done. The SANlight LEDs are still dimmed to 60% (=one GREEN LIGHT on dimmer ON) and are appr. 70 cm above the top of the plants. The humidity inside the tent is dropping now, it went from 59% (due to bad weather outside and nothing I can change) to 41 % right now.

Ultima semana!! Esperemos asi sea jaja Bueno el engorde es notorio, la resina ha aumentado y el olor cada vez mas fuerte. Comienza el lavado, a tratar de llegar a 0 EC en el corte. Esta genetica ha presentado 2 fenotipos, uno con pistilos mas largos, cogollo mas denso y mas verde. Asi mismo tiene un aroma a citrico con un toque muy dulce. El otro feno es mas puntiagudo, el cogollo es mas violeta, pistilos mas cortos y menos cantidad. En cuanto a resina van similares. Y el olor es mas ácido, con un toque fresco.

This will be their last week in the solo cup as the start of next week I will x-plant into their final homes !! I fertilized with I49 grow 1 tbsp/gal & 2 tbsp I49 Flower. I added this as a preventive measure since I’m seeing issues with nitrogen usage in the lower leaves even though she is in super soil. AK47 must be a heavy feeder. With the extreme heat and rain, my AK-47xl. She grew a foot and is now 31 inches tall. She demonstrates resistance to fungal diseases and bug damage. In the background noise on the video is Cicadas. When they hatch, they crawl onto a tree or plant and molt. The adult has wings. This is the empty body casing. What a joy this grow has been. She was a real beauty. Absolute joy to grow...strong branches but she likes to stretch a lot. I knew wat to expect. I have grown Lemon Kush outdoors 3 times. The scrog this year was the perfect solution. I will not grow her again outdoors. This was my first time to see her finish. Seeing her flower this year, she just needs the warmth in the end. The climate here rarely offers that. I must say the dense flowers are amazing also size and yield is incredible. Update about that later. Trichomes were underdeveloped. I had to harvest early because of mould. The last 3 weeks of flower the temperatures were very low 10-15 C daytime and very very wet. I believe this stunted the plants. They made a full stop in development and exploded again in the last week. 3 days of sun did more than the 2 weeks before. Weather forecast were bad so big buds were harvested 25 september. We eventually had more sun than expected and bottom half was left until 2 october. That week made sooo much difference!! Those bottom buds finally developed some nice trichomes and turned purple. Of course I wish the big buds could have enjoyed the sunshine during that last week as well. Most of you will know, being an outdoor grower...Every year is about compromises. This year was so hot during growth and cold and wet in bloom that mould was unstoppable. After all I am very pleased with this grow and cant wait to taste some of this. Probably needs al long cure though to bring back that lemon scent. Almost seems like all that the rain washed the scent right off her😪 Keep growing y'all!

Last year I’ve tried my first Blueberry’s family strain ever, the Blue Cheese. I loved her. One of the best high I’ve ever had. Since then, I decided to try them all. I chose this strain because she is almost 100% indica and because I wanted to do a RQS only cycle, and unfortunately they didn’t have the original Blueberry (please RQS, add her to the catalog!!!). By the way, although I have two Blue Mystic, only this one has her own diary. Her sister is similar, but located at the opposide side of the box. Well, they have been the first, together with the Gorilla, to show pistils and then create the first small flowers. Couldn’t be happier, especially after the problem (with a defective digital timer) that caused the flowering phase to delay by 2 weeks. I’ve just removed some lower leaves that coudn’t get the right amount of light, and since the soil was a bit dry, I’ve given 500ml of water (and nuts) more. Because of the delay (in which I’ve started giving bloom nuts), I’ll have to give them “week 3” nuts for two more weeks, maybe reducing by 50% the B-52 and Big Bud dosages (they could be a little too much). Day 63...buds fattening up nicely...currently experiencing worst pollution on the planet with AQI of 300+ for most of the week which i fear is affecting growth..,..the buds look a lot browner in the pics, than i reality.. due to the post-apocalyptical tinge to the sky as the sun sets, though the smog
