Girl Scout Cookies Auto was suddenly ready to get chopped - I would've like to see a few more amber trichomes, but the fan leaves started yellowing faster, and more sugar leaves got crispy tips. Also, the smell got pretty strong over the last week or so. It was a very nice grow, and I'm curious on the yield and effect after drying and curing. Yuhbar Auto still needs a little more time, and will enjoy a few more days or weeks under the (artificial) sun, giving the trichomes more time to ripen.

Start of week 6. Week 5 went really well, this Do-si-dos is packing on bud weight, size, density and she is insanely sticky! Just lightly touching her, is like touching sticky pads or glue, just crazy!!

Week 2 of veg for these clones . You can view my other grow of these clones mother's Blue Dream , Cheese and haze from my main page. All bue strains , these clones are are growing fast all rooted nicely and starting new growth. These girls love the new setup .

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Got some leaf taco ing, and a two of the plants have developed some yellow leaves, burnt tips, I don't think it's nute burn as amount of nutes watering every 2 to 3 days is very low, I thought possibly potassium deficiency, increased fish mix slightly, the yellowing is not effecting the top leaves only so I didn't think light burn, I've moved the light up a few inches to be on safe side and turned power down from 70 percent to 60 percent, using photone app to measure DLI/par intensity and reading about 700 so possibly too high. Gonna flush the two plants worse effected, PH testing RO filtered water to 6.5, also added a bit of cal mag, hopefully following the flush, should sort itself. Any advice greatly appreciated fellow growmies :)

It is so very hot now every day here. All my girls are suffering from the heat and they need to be watered very frequently. I avoid drying them out completely. She is starting to get some seriously fat colas. I currently have 6 autos growing, and this girl shows the fattest buds yet. She also smells really good - very fresh. I hope that she won´t lose her smell with the heat...

This is actually week 3 for 7 of these ladies. I started with 7 Sour Bubbly and then waited for the Northern Cheese Haze and Hubbabubbasmelloscope to come in to pop in the dirt. So in order to keep this journal for both of those start dates I'll just meet in the middle at week 2 haha.

Y aparte añadimos nutrientes de Agrobeta, que no puede faltar semejante gama. Trasplante a 7 litros definitivamente, las puntas amarillas desaparecieron, la carencia de nitrógeno fue solventada. Week 1 flower I will tie her open some in the Morning after I pull the Strawberry down Gapped her a bit! Last day week 1 flower have her1/2 tsp 20/20/20 and 1/2 10/44/10 1/4 5/24/35

She's starting to bulk up, and I've cut my nutrients back in anticipation of the flush. She is a beauty and I love the colors she is displaying. I'm starting to get a distinct smell of burnt tires and rotten organic from her, with just a hint of sweetness. I love the smell! I added some plant ties this week to hold some of her branches up. Many of her branches are starting to droop under the weight of the buds, but nothing I can't handle. No problems this week and she is looking great.

The first in breaking the shield was the pheno number 2 on this pair of jack orange! Let's see how they keep developing!! Out of the 2 seeds that I started only one was good and I decided to discard the #1 because of a deformation or a genetic fail. So I just kept #2, hope you like this strain!
