Hello everyone, 🇬🇷 this is my diary for the GHSC Contest...package received on 21st April...I will be growing Banana Crumble in this diary...It's a cross between Banana Punch and OG Kush, from Green House Seeds... WEEK 1:"COME OUT AND PLAY" ☠️Day 0...seeds are placed in a bowl with wet paper towels,on a heat mat... ...after 48 hours... they need more time... ☠️Day 000..after 56 hours 3 were ready to be planted,the other two seeds need more time...I planted them in coco coir.My earth is called "Coco Humus", it's a Greek product and it consists of coir, perlite and organic matter...I covered them with baggies for extra humidity...They are now under a 50 W Led light...Fingers crossed... ☠️Day 1...24/04/20...the babies have popped their first tiny leaves...their cotyledons are different than usual,they are a bit longer...the are under a 50W Led inside a cupboard..I have removed the baggies...they are still fragile and small ☠️Day 4...the babies are growing very slowly but they are OK ☠️Day 6...so they are growing very slowly...they have just popped their second pair of true leaves but they are still tiny...Our journey has begun... In week 7 the 12 plants have filled out the space inside the HOMEBOX grow-tent very nicely and therefore its time to switch to flowering. I change the timer, which I put infront of the supply of my SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs, to 12/12 hours of light/darkness. This will induce the flowering of my babies and they can start to develop buds. The BIO NOVA nutrients work very well, which can be seen in the nice healthy green color of the plants. I follow the SOIL-CULTIVATION chart from the BIO NOVA website, but use only half the recommended dose, because my tap-water already has a very high EC-value of 0,8 when it comes out of the faucet. Since I have used REGULAR seeds for THE PURPS from BC-BUD-DEPOT, I have to check for males on a regular basis. Two plants show clear male pollen-sacks already now (see above in video) and have to be culled right away. I cut the plants off at the main stem right above the soil and take away the plants and throw them into the trash right away. This way I make sure NO pollen can mature inside the male pollen-sacks and be released later and inseminate my babies on accident. In the places of the male PURPS plants, I put a MAC and KK-plant into the AUTOPOT-system, so all 12 placed are filled again. Now its time to wait until the first flowers start to appear. 👍😎

August 15th water August 16th nothing August 17th the weather is better so im not sure if i want to leave this plant on the balcony or if i will put her on the roof again, but at the moment in the 15 liter pot shes getting bigger and bigger, so maybe i will just finish this one on the balcony and accommodate the roof better August 18th first 'hairs' appeared 😁 we also watered August 19th nothing August 20th nothing: but it seems that the plant likes the guanokalong nutrients, no signs of deficiency or overfeeding! She is not a happy camper at the moment, yes I drowned nearly all my plants trying to figure it out the drip system frequency/quantity :] learning curve She is now recovering from transplanting from Solo cup to 3gal pot, roots look nice and healthy. We arrived in the third week the plants show good vigor and growth. Some cold days 17 Cº may have prevented further growth but we do not have to complain the plants demonstrate to be enjoying food and light. On the 15th the plants presented slightly wilted leaves as day 16 was the day of watering I imagined it was thirsty. But day 16 a few hours after watering the plant still had the same symptoms so I realized that the LED screen was 53 cm from the plant. I increased the distance to 65cm and the plant returned to normal both in force and I managed to correct the diagnosis. I am managing to apprehend some things finally putting into practice.

Plants took a few days to get stripped down. Missed the second week of flowering and stretching but oh well there is always next time. Very excited to see this canopy full of uniform buds its going to be a sight to behold haha.

The end of week 1 has arrived. We all know how it goes. Just playing the waiting game. At this stage these girls are just working on building their root system. The roots should be hitting the reservoir in the bottom of the buckets soon then they should take off. Got the water pumping and the lights beaming 24 hours a day. Running a low dose of maxigro. Keeping the ph around 6. Will probably be topping them around day 12. Would be amazing if I can get them ready to switch to flower at the end of week 3. But for now I'm just going to check on them 420 times a day hoping they don't die. Might be back next week if they are alive. Happy growing!

Well I was worried about my girl for most of the last week since I repotted her. But as you can see, she bounced back. Just took her about 5 days. Roots started spilling over the side so I through some soil on it. The soil will be removed during the reveal when the other roots are exposed.
