For the germination process I ,First put the seeds in distilled water ph 6.5 for 24 hours . Let them float for the first 12 hours in a warm (dark) place . I used my grow tent temperature inside was 75 degrees and 50%humidity through out the entire process . After first 12 hours I poked the seed to the bottom of the cup and let them set for the finale 12 hours . After the full 24 hours was up . I placed the seed’s on a plate with paper towel first and second I added water to the paper towel (moist not wet) and placed a seeds on top with another moist paper towel and let go back in the tent for 2 more days After two days the tap roots appeared for each seed so I potted 2-3 into there finale medium . Didn’t have enough soil for all 3. Once potted. Plants 🌱 are given 18 hours of light 💡

Au 63e jour, tout semble se dérouler sans accroc, à l'exception d'une de nos gorillas qui, de manière inattendue, a vu ses feuilles jaunir et se flétrir en seulement trois jours. Cet incident mystérieux reste inexpliqué, surtout que sa consœur, bénéficiant exactement du même traitement, prospère sans le moindre signe de mécontentement. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings. This week has been such a gift! I have learned so much about proper care for a plant I had no idea how little I knew sitting down and observing these majestic trees produce such a potent flower has really humbled me. Premium cultivars strain has shown resilient and self sustaining easy to grow traits that it is hard to mess up. (Which I’ve done a few times lol) Notice the trichomes (I put the zoom lens on and got up in there so they could be better seen the bud itself is slathered in them ! This is going to be an amazing smoke! Also looking at the structure of the bud it’s self it has volume very full bodied bracts with pistils throughout It’s just an all-around beautiful thing to observe

SECOND UPDATE - 27th of February 2020 - DRY WEIGHT & LOVE (smoke report to follow) 16. Nov. 2019 - 15. Feb. 2020 - 90 Days grown from Seed - Topped at Day 22 37g total dry weight, after I gave them a very nice trim. They started curing in glass jars on 20/2/2020 and are currently between 61-63%RH inside. Burping every other hour for couple of minutes. She's a beauty, her colors, her stickiness, everything. Her fade 😍😍😍She took well to late topping & nutrients, didn't show any overfeeding etc.; Lots of crystals started showing at the beginning of week 9; Started fading in Week 10 (might have been enhanced by Flawless Finish). Pink & Yellow leaves, orange hair, soooooooo many crystals. I’m in love whooooaaaaaaa 😍 Trimming her took me 2 days, never have I trimmed a plant that sticky, it's not hard, since only my 2nd grow, still... WOW 😍She was almost crumbling of glitter, very different experience from trimming the other plants. I tried collecting all her kief, just moving her from tray to tray, she lost a lot. I must say, collecting kief sucks, I don't have the right tools, it seems. Please share your trimming & collecting technique and tools. Also she lost a lot of calyxes, I was surprised there was still something on it 😱I collected those too hehe, who knows, maybe I decorate a Cannagar with it, this will be my next project. Day 90 - 15. Feb of 2020 - she was chopped and put in a vase full of PH water in a dark place for 48 hours. Day 92 - 17. Feb - she moved into the drying tent. Her trichomes were nicely amber with some milky and some clear, good mix. Only 3 days later - 20. Feb - I panic harvested her out of the tent. My two other plants got really dry, so I panicked and cut her stems down and put them into jars. So she had a total dry time of 6 days, if you include the 2 days in darkness. I monitored the humidity, it spiked up to 70%, that's when I took them out, spread them and aired them out for several hours. Back in the jars they sit at a comfortable 65% now, being burped and pampered every day

Trying to dial their veg in. Nutes may be too old or too high. Changed with 4ml CaMg per gallon of RO water. The rest is MaxiGrow. Ever since adding rockwool to the grow, I have struggled. I don't have the dry back timed right yet. I moved my fan to dry the top of the pot surface instead of in the root zone or at the canopy height. After about 10 days I dumped out the rockwool and have replaced with hydroton. My initial though on using rockwool was to give the roots more space during late life stages. My experience has been with hydroton and I notice that the roots eventually get bound because the hydroton is a durable material and will not crush or compact. Rockwool on the other hand will compress when squeezed so I was hoping that in the late life stages the roots would compress the rockwool and make more room in the pots. The issue was dryback. If I used chunks instead of croutons, this may help but the other reason I used them was because I had them here already. If anyone is trying to slow their dryback down, they should consider adding 10% volume of croutons to hold moisture in the medium a bit longer. Notice anything different? They are starting to adapt to their new media. Hopefully by next week I can get them to perk up. One plant has looked better than the other three. I have no idea what these plants need to “perk up”. Possibly a different grower. If a grape terpine wasn’t in the end results I would have culled these long ago. Hopefully they perk up when we get to flower. 3 look ,,,, meh, the fourth is descent. Trimmed all four back down to 12” tall. Flower next week.

Girls are thriving to the max looking like an awsome harvest coming in around 6 more weeks From the rate they are growing its going to be at least 8 ounces hopeing for close to an elbow(pound) My ppm went up to 1420 from 1160 cant get to some fresh water till tomarrow . having no sighns of stress hope it will be ok till i can bring the ppm back to the 11 hundreds .Im the one stressed atm crossing my fingers the girls dont get burnt before tomarrow

Did defoliation as usual and a little lollipoping. Did 2 complete refills of the reservoir, ph stayed stable for 1 day after the exchange but then super unstable again. Dropped the EC with the second refill to 1000 to see if it stays stable. Ori is going good, already looking frosty, NL#2 is comming aswell, NL#1 not so much.

Increased EC some more and will continue to increase it, aiming for around 2.5-3 but in slows steps. The HBSS Cross is still small but growing, slooooowly starts flowering, overall very healthy and good looking plant just takes its time I guess. The GWK Cross on the other hand still goes crazy, did some lolipoping and a little bit of supercropping as well as LST and of course the new net, this one is giving me a hard time but I think I will be rewarded, even with very high intensity of the light it still stretches towards it. This pheno is extremly light hungry, noticeable since sprout with the super leggy start. Overall a very good week and the GWK cross keeps impressing me. Values are average of the day. in the last pic i show what to me is a deficiency of potassium in the early stage. To repair this issue I'm gonna take something like big bud from advanced nutrients, what do you guys think? Apart from that I think everything is ok, the overall health is good, the leaves have a nice green, no excessive sign of pests... let's hope that doesn't change same diet as the previous weeks, I'm gonna make an update next week
