9/26 This fucking sucks. Site won't let me upload pictures. Flood warning in effect. I believe this is the fifth day of rain. Not trickles. Sheet rain and high winds. My dream catchers have been taking this like a champ. Ice cream cake was totally sideways for awhile despite vertical trellis. I came down this morning to branches bent at 90° angles. I could've taken them but if I make it through this rain today it's supposed to stop tonight. Then I'll have a week of good weather. Buds are exploding. Even the ice cream cake. That will need more time but I'm getting close with the others. They are never out of sight. I'm surprised they've held up so well so far. I made my decision it would be stupid to alter it now, seeing how the storm is ending. I was going to spray k bicarb but I'll wait until after this rain.UPDATE: Went back over and the garden was flooded. I needed to put one grow bag on top of another as one plant was in six inches of water. I drained it and added supports and pulled off any dead leaves. I tried taking a video but it was raining so hard it stopped after 7 secs. Luckily my dreamcatchers are strong AF. Took to little ones and put them under the barn under a light. It's FINALLY stopped raining. After I smoke I gotta go back over and shake buds again and check for rot. Luckily nothing was broken but it was hanging right down. Fucking sucks. Spent like two hours in sheet rain. UPDATE: Stopped raining. I went over and continued to defoliate and cut little bits of rot from the interior. Sprayed a gallon of potassium bicarbonate and dawn on ever spot of rot I could find. I've been to the patch multiple times today. Found a few earwigs. I think I've found my problem. Late stage leaf septoria with earwigs eating the rotting plant matter. Fucking sucks but at least I have an idea. Can't upload pics and phone wouldn't even work in the rain. One 7 second video. 9/27 The extra work I've been putting in has certainly helped. I got in touch with a company who will do any type of extraction I want for $200 a lb. Fucking awesome. My cousin got 250 grams love rosin last year with this same company. I am sore. I checked trichs but I'm not seeing much Amber yet. Buds are gaining density fast. At least now that I have an idea what my problem is I can address it. Plants showed signs of pm after drying out. I did a k bicarb spray and this morning there isn't a spot. I need to take care of what's hanging so that's the plan today. 9/28 I think I made the right decision.my plants are looking good. Not where I want them but it's getting close. I checked the trichs this morning. Under 24 hour surveillance till harvest. Well it has been but now I stay up every nigh watching the cctv. Went down in the middle of the night to check for nocturnal bugs. Didn't find any. I've been defoliating the yellow septoria leaves. I went through every plant and cut out any rot and removed andy sugar leaves that started to turn brown. This and the k bicarb seem to help. I think that Leaf septoria has dwarfed the growth of the smaller dream catcher. Buds don't seem to be growing much more. Even my ICC has buds almost the size of the little one. The other dreamcatcher will probably be an elbow plant. The ice cream cake has beefed up incredibly and is covered in trich's. I'm super excited but I'm cautious at the same time. I hate that fucking dog but it's an added layer of security. Soon I'll do the harvest report for DJ short blueberry. 9/29 Trich's are changing fast. Haven't been watering lately do to all the rain. Plants are real real close. Up all night watching. Dog flipped out at 4am but no one was there. I want to wait until I have a little more Amber but I'm super excited. I may end up taking some tops. May end up doing a k bicarb spray today. Haven't decided yet. I'll update as I go. I've been making head way trimming the blueberry. 9/30. Things are looking beautiful. The smell at the garden is amazing. Lots of hard work left. Plants do have septoria and slight pm so I may do a bud wash. I cut a branch from each plant. I think I'm at the point of diminishing returns. Every wet night mold and critters take more and the chances of some idiot coming to try and take my shit increases. I may end up harvesting a little earlier. I'd lie to wait but the trichs look pretty good to me. Still doing all the maintenance required. I am extremely proud of this grow. I fought everything this year. Started with mites and thrips. Powder mildew came with them too. Now I've faced every pest or disease this year. At least it seems that way. I've seen the horror stories on my local Facebook thread. Leave your comments and let me know what you think about trichome stages and whether it would be ok to harvest. 10/1 Rained last night. I was under watering quite a bit in an attempt to make sure I didn’t flush out the benes and nutrients of the super soil. Ironically, I might have killed all the benes. Lol. Either way, they’re getting about 1 gal every other day now. Growing strong. This plant got some of the most thrip damage. Just did another spinosad treatment. I haven’t seen any more thrips in the greenhouse since the first treatment 10 or so days ago. Saw a leaf hopper in there though 😡

This entire week was just rain, rain, rain. I kept the plants under the lamp. I'm really not prepared for indoor growing. But, light is light and it will work for a short time, apparently.

so far I'm only feeding them with destilated water day4: unfortunately the 4th seed grew the other way around I carefully moved it over without touching it directly day5: 24hours later it looks a little sad but I think it will get over it. the other 3 are perfectly fine and achieved a height of 7cm so far I'm watering every 2 days approximately 200ml desolated water day6: on day 2 after operation the 4th one is growing and starting to look healthy , them step is even thicker than the other 3 had at that height I think. gonna leave the cup on it of another day probably and depending on how it looks tomorrow I will take it off day7: Plants looking healthy so far, 4th one is recovering nicely day8: The 3 are growing healthy and number 2 and 3 are already showing their second pair of leaves and I think it's safe to say number 4 recovered and is now back on track:) day9: Today I put 400ml of water on the three bigger ones but on the outer area to water the soil overall without pouring 400ml directly on the Plant, number 4 is getting on track and is growing nicely after the beginning problems she had. day10: I was a bit worried since number 2 rolled their first 2 Leaves a little bit but I was told they will drop of anyway and not tot worry about them too much. besides that they are all growing nicely. day11: Last day of week 1 and so far everything is going very well.

The terpenes attack are intense, super strong citrus pungent at this stage which indicates plant is ripening its trichs. My watering is twice a week with 500ml compost tea and 1.5L water only. The frost and smell is amazing. As for the burnt off leaves, i did defo but i was lazy to trim more of the burnt leaves. So i am going to leave them there because they drop off easily and is not inside the buds

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend and happy father's day to all the dads. The Strawberry Banana is almost done stacking and almost heading to the ripening phase. I did raise her up on a 10 inch milk crate last week to ensure all plants have an even canopy. She is really starting to smell very strong, I definitely smell both strawberry and banana's on my fingers after working with her. currently have the Spectrum X running at 100% power and have upped the time on the UV/IR bars to 90 minutes just prior to lights off. I am super happy with this light so far, she puts out impressive PAR, and runs fairly cool. The only thing I would change is to have individual timers for the different spectrums. I did hear they sell a timer that does this but it does cost 0. Not much to do this week other than keep the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old. Last week transplanted the plants to their final containers. Approx 12L and 17L fabric pots. Did my best to transplant without disturbing the roots, by first placing the small container in the new container to make an hole in the dirt. And then cutting apart the small container instead of pulling out the plant. Then just fitting the root-ball into the already made hole. Root development looked pretty good when I did the transplant. Transplanted into a rather well-fertilized soil. Don't plan on fertilizing these plants during the whole grow unless I otherwise see a reason to. Also started LST last week, bending the plants somewhat extreme, but they're taking it just fine. Water here is rather alkaline, so I'm starting to control the PH of the water now. There's a clear skunk smell that started last week as well, but only when the tent has been opened. Still, it doesn't take much time to notice if you stick your head in the tent. And this is already starting in Week 2 of veg! So the charcoal filter is set up. Pretty happy with the development so far, although I've still been seeing some thrips. If they're not completely gone by next week, might end up mixing some of the spinosad into the water so the plants absorb it. Day 16 - Cut off one of the lower fan leaves on both plants. It was blocking the other nodes from receiving much light. I am already able to start noticing mandarin/tangerine undertones in the smell when I've handled the plants.

Week 7: Branching Out & Embracing the Unknown 🌱🍍 Okay, I'll admit it: This whole FIMing outdoors thing is uncharted territory, but hey, isn't that half the fun of growing? The FIMing worked like a charm! Three sturdy branches are shooting out, and the original main stem is actually the runt of the litter. 😅 I guess that's a new one for me. Normally, my outdoor girls turn into towering 2-meter trees with popcorn buds galore. But this year, I'm after quality over quantity. A few strong colas, please and thank you. Am I following any hard science? Nope. Just going with my gut and the good vibes my pineapple is giving off. She's still in veg mode, so I did some more defoliation and LST to keep her energy focused. Feeling good about this experiment so far. Who knows, maybe FIMming outdoors is my new secret weapon? Time will tell!
