Week 2 starting with gsc putting out begging of pistils with others shortly behind I'm sure as it is day 10 since 12/12. on day 11 flower pistis are visable on blueberry and girlscout cookies. Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. Moinsen, Tag 7: Ich hab schon wieder Thripse im hinteren Blähton gehabt, aber Plant Diddy hat genug Neemöl am Start. 💦 Ansonsten sieht alles gut und gleichmäßig aus. Tag 10: Die Thripse habe ich in den Griff bekommen denke ich, allerdings hat die letzte Dusche dann ein paar Spuren hinterlassen. Die Blätter der ersten Nodie sehen etwas trocken und angebrannt aus. Trotzdem sind sie ordentlich gewachsen und man kann jetzt schon sehen, dass die Black Dog etwas langsamer ist, als die anderen beiden. Das führe ich darauf zurück, dass sie eine andere Auto in der Genetik hat, als die anderen beiden. Sie hat die Super Auto drin und die anderen beiden haben die XL Auto drin. Im Moment scheint das Aer-DWC die Nase minimal vorne zu haben, was sich aber noch ändern kann und vermutlich auch wird. Endlich mal die in der Mitte, die groß werden will, hoffentlich 😅 Die ersten Ein-Finger-Blätter sind ziemlich groß und sie versuchen sogar noch Finger abzuspalten. Wirkt zuerst ein wenig Ducksfoot mäßig, aber das kenne ich schon aus vorherigen Runs. Ich bin jedenfalls hoch erfreut, dass sie ohne Zusätze so gut wachsen. Ich nutze dieses Mal kein Rhizotonic und auch keinen Boost. Es bleibt bei Vega/Flores A+B, Calmag Agent, PK13/14 und Cannazym 1/2 Dosis. Das Licht läuft im 24/0 Zyklus bei ca. 350 µmol/s/m², also einem DLI von ca. 30 mol/d/m². Dadurch habe ich keine Temperatur Diff. mehr, da es ja keine Nacht in dem Sinne mehr gibt und ich kann dadurch die Lichtintensität etwas vermindern. Ich erhoffe mir dadurch weniger Lichtstress, trotz hohem DLI und absolut gleichmäßige Umgebungsbedingungen, die sich überhaupt nicht ändern. Dadurch kann ich mich genauer an die Leistungsgrenzen rantasten, da die normalerweise vorhandene Dynamik in der Optik von Tag zu Nacht so statisch bleibt, anstatt dass die Blätter im Zyklus "rudern". Mal schauen, wie dieser Test so verläuft, aber bisher auf jeden Fall schon einmal deutlich besser, als ich es erwartet habe. Aber man soll ja den Tag nicht vor dem Abend loben....😅 Tag 12: Heute habe ich ein Video gemacht und danach leider erst festgestellt, dass die Black Orchid Auto erstmal so motiviert ist, dass sie sogar an den Keimblättern noch extra Finger bekommt. Sieht zumindest so aus. Ansonsten geht es ihnen gut, sie wachsen extrem schnell und der Run wird vermutlich wieder awesome, ich hab da so ein Gefühl 💪👽👍

All has gone well for the urkle this week. She pushes close to 1.5m and is stacking flowers. Big thanks to lassos for putting me right on my high pH run off. It was the golden tree I used. Well we all know this team and there genetics are tight .. The cheese is small in size but the smell is so good .. The blacksugar is biggest by size of all plants a true beast.. all been doing great except I moved light over blacksugar 4" inches closer , over night burned top leaves .. Rookie mistake fixed and move on.. The next 2 weeks are key and they are on point with root ph stable at 6.5 very happy with this run ...

Getting near the end now. Plants are smelling magnificent! I think it'll be two more weeks until harvest. Fingers crossed the buds continue to gain weight. I'll be fully stoked if I get an ounce of nice flower off each plant.

At the start of week 2 i was feeding her 0.7 EC coco A + B. By the last 2 days of the week i slowly raised it to 1.0 EC and you can see she likes it. At day 11 i installed my auto water system, i build it myself with some hoses, pumps and automatic sec. timers. i have 2 systems so i can feed 2 different feeding schedules. The moment i install my water system i'm going to give water every day with nutrients (for now every day) a decent amount, i think it is 4 liter water at the moment. This also because i want to have a decent amount of run off water. Tomorrow i will check how much water per sec. my system gives. So here we come week 3

week 78 i woke up this morning and found my fan was fall down in my plants. My other plant had some serious damage, the glueberry OGn had also som damage, so i had to cut down a few buds. i was also started to flush last week because she is ready. So the buds i had to cut are a nice first tester. The other plant had some serious damage i head to cut down 2 branches in the end and taped some. The buds from the OG are very nice so much frost, it's a party so much glitter and glare. I tried to make some pics.

She has some strange growth I'm not sure if I'll keep it or not yet, might just throw it in a 1 gal and see how it turns out. Just want to maximize space if it's not perfectly healthy I'll try somethin else.

Día 24 de crecimiento, voy a trasplantar a macetero de 3l para ocupar todo el area de cultivo, haciendo SOG. en pocos días pasaré a floración, previa poda apical para estimular el crecimiento y aumentar la producción, debido a que las sativas del armario de floración van a tardar bastante, voy a experimentar un poco y dejarlas donde están, a ver que sucede al pasarlas a floración y como se comportan bajo luces con un espectro de crecimiento (led citizen 4000K). Cuando trasplante, usaré micorrizas para estimular la vida microbiana del sustrato y pulverizo con acti vera y Alg a Mic para que sobrelleven mejor el estrés de trasplante, buenos humos!!!👌👌😃
