I finally decided to switch to flowering the first day of the next week, i want to see what size of colas they can generate from this size of plant. I don't wan't to try to create monsters at time, and i think my pots are small for too big plants i think. With this growing i'm just introducing myself to growing techniques and to indoor photoperiod strains. He decidido que esta va a ser la última semana de crecimiento, quiero ver que tal se forman la colas con este tamaño de planta, hay que tener en cuenta que las tengo en tiestos pequeños/medios y tampoco es mi intención crear monstruos por el momento. Con este cultivo simplemente me estoy introduciendo a las técnicas de cultivo y al cultivo de fotodependienes en interior. Background: This is a small grow in a 20" x 36"x 63" tent. Growing 2 sour diesel from seed in coco/perlite medium using General Hydroponic nutrients and primarily following feeding schedule as listed here http://gh.growgh.com/docs/Feedcharts/GH_FloraSeries-DTW_03216am.pdf . I'll be substituting "h3ad formula," i.e. 6 ml GH FloraMicro : 9 ml GH FloraBloom per gallon, for the first 3 rows in the pdf and also be skipping Diamond Nectar, FloraBlend, and FloraNectar. See pic above for nutrient list. Note: Second time attempting to grow this strain. Bud rot destroyed majority of previous grow so this is a redemption grow, hopefully. Lesson learned from previous failure - two circulation fans do not counter high humidity especially for the big buds over 3" wide. On chop day, after vegging for 3 months and flowering for 100 days, the insides of the buds closest to the stems were full of white cotton candy. Couldn't spot it from the outside at all. So lesson learned, and this time end of flower will coincide with low-humidity winter as opposed to the summer. Week 1 - Nutrient regimen: 6 ml GH FloraMicro + 9 ml GH FloraBloom per gallon. Used at 1/3 strength diluted with dechlorinated water. Solution ph'd to 5.8. 9/5/2019 (V1) - Sprouted yesterday and moved under 273 watts of vero 29 LED today, dimmed to lowest setting. Used rapid rooters for germination but would have preferred peat pellets since they stay can stay upright without support. 9/10/2019 (V6) - Fungus gnat larvae infestation! Transplanted to solo cups on 9/6 (V2) using ready mix bag of coco and perlite. Using 1/3 strength "h3ad formula" for first week and fed every other day. Growth appears stunted compared to previous grows and stems needed additional support to stay upright with circulation fan on. Feeding until runoff showed major infestation (see video #1). Can only guess coco mix bag was contaminated, since no adult gnats are visible in tent and yellow sticky card is empty. This has got to be my record for early fuckups! Attempting to treat with neem extract mix (dosed used 5 ml neem oil extract : 500 ml water) and a layer of diatomaceous earth on top (see V6 pic). Hopefully this treatment is better than not doing anything and letting those squirmy baby bastards take over. For a plant this young and without adequate root support this is a gamble. Also bumped up light a bit to 13000 lux as read on Light Meter v3.1 app by Trajkovski Labs using Samsung S6.

First week looks good for all the girls hopefully...This week has been a rain out as the last of the rainy season comes to an end full moon on 15th December 2024 rains as usual.

This strain is going to give a lot of big buds, its developing very well. It smells like sweet sour mango.

All the plants are beautiful but some are beautiful. This is the case of Red Hot Cookies, a young lady who stands out, stands out among the others and despite the 6.5 pot she is also growing and swelling well. But her strength is beauty for real, look at these flowers to believe. They are an intense red that goes towards purple which contrasts greatly with the truly wonderful white hairs. Also wonderful are the leaves that are tinged with the classic RHC color near the flower

She is off to a great start. I sprouted her right in the rockwool in the DWC. Looking forward to see what we can make this lady do for us. My tent seems to work best with mature plants in the 36” range although my setup can handle 60” in height the width becomes an issue. I plan to flower her when she is about 16” tall.

She in middle of week one flowering recieved a heavy pruning , also adjusted her lst. She started to stretch now hopefully she stretches up a foot more :) all in the end even though one made it I'm still glad :) will order more down the line for sure. Sometimes people we hit or miss with seeds!

This week I harvested these two Quebec Black Bud, it was really a great experience. Its unique appearance and these colors charm us from start to finish. Calm in vegetation but surprises us in flowering. I can't wait to see the final product 😇 Harvest : Pheno #1 day 56 flowering 119 total Pheno #2 day 60 flowering 123 total Training : They have received my hand manipulation since day 8 and this every day to force them to grow bigger and stronger until the addition of the scrog. I started my base again on a manifold. For now I'm having fun like that, let's see later 😁 I'll leave you with these beautiful photos and come back to you later. After drying and curing I realize how the color is an intense purple almost black, The genetics are not called Quebec black bud for nothing. the buds are really compact, I know that with the auto pot system I give myself a chance that they will be denser but I believe that hard training leaves its mark.

Just started this one off... Not much to say so far. This is a coco grow. I started off with an amended Coco using Gaia Green 4-4-4 and power bloom 2-8-4.

Inicio de la sexta semana y así sigue el avance de la floración. Ésta plata ha crecido a un ritmo impresionante y apesar de ser más pequeña en un inicio que su compañera de tienda, ha superado su tamaño notoriamente. Todo sigue bien y sano como se esperaba. Buenos humos! 👽

QUESTION TO EVERYONE READING THIS: My tap water is pH 8.3 (yes I know right ?!) Adding the BioBizz nutes brings it down to pH 6.2 - 6.4 depending on the amount which is great. Now, I dont really care about runoff pH that much, doesnt tell me a lot imo but I measured it twice, last time it was 6.8 this time it was 7.1. Is there anything to worry about or is that just irrelevant? Thank you guys :) Day 48: Watered the Liberty Haze with 750ml Water and 2.8ml / l BioGrow, 2.8ml / l BioBloom, 0.7ml / l TopMax which is the equivalent biobizz week 7 feeding schedule with 70% strength on BioGrow & TopMax and 90% strength on the Bloom. Therefore, dont mind the leaves hanging down, I just watered before taking pictures. Also tied down one or two branches a bit more to make the side branching even again. I dont really realize how much the plant actually stretches, the Liberty Haze seems to start budding already while the G13 Haze is still a bit behind. Day 45: I really wanted to try serious and "professional" training methods. Defoliation was obviously needed, I couldnt even see what was going on below the plant. Removed all leaves except on the top 2-3 nodes of each branch. Then I did some heavy LST to move the side branches to the outside for filling up space. I hope the center will grow some branches at some point. Unfortunately, I couldnt supercrop the main branch like I did with the G13 Haze because the stem is weakened due to the partial break. It looks a bit fouly (the break wound itself) but at the same time it looks like the plant just "abandoned" the damaged tissue and continued growing using the remaining part of the stem diameter. Sounds really weird, but it definitely makes sense considering that the plant didnt even stop growing at all. ~Watered 650ml today, too Day 44: Everything seems to go well. Apart from the snap though LOL. But seriously, it doesnt seem to have affected the plant at all :D I did some LST and was very careful ! The Liberty Haze seems to be a bit stiffer than the G13 Haze so I was extra careful which was a good choice. I decided not to train the main branch anymore at all, just the side branches to keep them even. Lets see :) Also the Liberty Haze is quite smelly for not having buds yet. If it was just the G13, it wouldnt smell AT ALL and I wouldnt even have to use my carbon filter !!!

9/16 88 days old. Beginning of the third week. She has been grown organically up to this point. Today I added some fox farm nuits for early bloom. I have it so I might as well use it. Only going to use for a few weeks. 9/21 did some defoliation and tried to spread her out. She doesn’t have a ton of leaves even though it may look it. She has a lot of branches. I took off a lot of branches before the flip and probably could have taken a lot more. Also fed her Fox Farm Open Seasme. She is growing in living soil and has been organic. However I have the Fox Farm and might as well use it. She is starting to put on some weight.

So langsam fangen beide Phenos an zu riechen. Pheno#1, die etwas größere Pflanze mit kleineren Buds, riecht leicht nach dem typischen Runtz Geruch und etwas doller als Pheno#2 mit sehr großen Buds. Beide Pflanzen sind schon gut frosty.

Week 3 has come and gone and it was a sight to see!! All the pistills came in nice and strong. I have to get in there and defoliate every couple a days a bit. This will be the last week of defoliation. Once I can see the main bud sights I will do my final trim. Started reducing the Nitrogen as the stretch faze comes to an end and up the bloom ferts. I cant raise my light much more so I hope they stop stretching this week. Im excited to see the flowers grow into these pistills and watcch the calayx swell.
