The switch from last week to this week, veg into bloom, has gone super fast! I've done 2 waterings this week, 1st with just water and second I added bio bizz bloom 1 ml/l, root booster and cal mag. All at 1ml/l and this time i took the time to check ph and ppm. I had to lower pH (scary) for the second time from 7.1 to 6.1 and I'm seeing definate effect in the amount of white pistil growth! So much more vigorous the last grow, when I overfed.

I had suspected that these wonderful young ladies would require more time to reach peak Harvest and i was correct. Allowing these the extra week has allowed for some excellent weight gain and additionally allowing for more Trics to form and start to change color. Using my mag glass i have determined that now is the time to start my pre harvest. I have removed some of the larger leaves allowing for more light to penetrate lower down the plant, this has now allowed the lower nugs to finish of and bulk up the best they can. I feel the Harvest of the Purple Queen is imminent however finding the right moment will be more tricky. As this is the last Flowering week update i will be posting on this Strain. I would just like to say a big thank you for everyone who has been following and adding likes along the way. Hey Friends, end of week 13 from seed Buds are getting thicker Smell is getting stronger Bud structure is looking amazing, so far its been an amazing experience seeing this plant grow. I am watering every 3-4 days 1 full gallon of water mixed with nutrients. Leaves are green, looking healthy Trichomes are 98% cloudy 2% amber This week I had a tough time trying to maintain a steady humidity level, its been raining outside lately so humidity level goes up. QUESTIONS When should I begin flushing?

Beginning of week 7 in flower, only two more weeks left if they ripen like they did last time. Plants are beginning to smell, develop triches and fattening up. They're not going to get any taller but compared to my first grow they're double in size. It's getting really intense. I'm in there every day checking humidity (on the no defol side) and I'm starting to struggle keeping up with the feed. During lights off I've found the plants eat the most food. I topped up the res, added 25% more PK. I try to keep the plants at 700 ppm and in the space of four hours it dropped to 600 ppm (towards the end of lights off). I stopped directly loading with Calcium Nitrate and instead used a regular calmag. I'm about to go overboard with Calcium Nitrate again and bump the ppm up to 1k. Will see how far the ppm drops the next day. 17/02/20 Update: The plants are beginning to smell a lot more, it has that kind of fermenting pungent smell from a red paw paw but applied to a mango. Very sweet, it literally smells like I'm growing some kind of tropical fruit. Still struggling with the feed, I added close to 40g of calcium nitrate and the plants still dropped the ppm lower than when I boosted it. I find it really frustrating that Dual Fuel only sell as a pair. Part 2 is amazing for late flower. Potassium sulphate and Magnesium sulphate, it's the perfect PK boost and I don't know anyone other nutrient like it. The other PK boosters always have too much P. 18/02/20 Update: Still battling my plants and the efforts to keep up with them is still frustrating me. Ran out of potassium Sulphate and bought Bio Diesel Rhino K 0-0-15 as a substitute, talk about expensive but I was desperate. 19/02/20 Update: Uploaded how I pump calcium into my plants this late into flower. They eat more than what I showed daily. That's 100+ ppm of Ca everyday! I don't know how much pectin this plant has now but the Brix would have to be through the roof compared to my first grow. 20/02/20 Update: finally got the feed right for a twelve hour period. I'm using two times the amount of K any bloom booster recommends and I'm probably using ten times the amount of calcium easily. I'm also going to feed as minimal N from now on, I'd cut it out completely if I could but I rely on Micros for the macro nutrients. Spent $65 on that bottle of potash and I used a third of a bottle for one nutrient change, think I'll stick to using powered water soluble potassium sulfate. My main concern is that I won't be providing enough iron with the little Micro I'm giving it. Going to throw a couple of rustry nails into the res. I'm about to do a top up...dropping the Micro super low, putting minimal part 2 in. Along with all the fulvics, humics, kelp and other acids my ppm only sits at 244. Which gives me plenty of room to load up on calcium. Top up the mag cause what was in the part 2 wasn't enough then load K. 21/02/20 Update: The plants finally stalled and took a breather yesterday. Didn't upload any photos cause it looked the same as the day before. By the end of the evening it looked like the explosive growth started back up again and the photos from today will show it. The ppm was creeping up not down this time...finally over feeding them. Dropped the extra loading of calcium and potassium to regular bloom phase levels and bumped the chelators up instead. Update 22/02/20: plants aren't eating what they were. Ppm is remaining stable at 800. I won't dilute the res just yet. Still holding off to see if it goes up again. If it goes down I'll refeed the same formula as last time that has reduced calcium and potassium.

Well this week has been quite stressful ! Where I live has been humid as f...k and the RH in my tent is around 60 percent !!!! (week 5 of flower !! ) Even with a dehumidifier !! I m keeping a good airflow and low temps ( around 23 c ) hoping it will avoid bud rot or powdery mildew : //// !!! Does anybody have good tips to drop down that humidity please ? Besides that the plants are looking healthy and frosty and are starting to get bigger every day ! I've just been taking some fan leaves off now and then to expose buds to light. I hope buds are going to fatten up ! Happy growing y'all !

AVT still flowering, still going strong. Definitely has more of a Bonsai shape, which is unique and obviously due to the excessive HST I did early on. Very curious how she finishes up, but I'm guessing still about a month to go til she's ready.

i was away from week 4 - 6, they have been only watered 3 times and sprayed couple of times, was also first time leaving them outside thru the night and strong winds. Some more aggressive LST and first serious defoliation, they needed a week to really start growing again, then they exploded,

Gold sativa has been growing good. I am changing solution about once every 4 days. Which it is a gallon at a time so no biggie really. Hello Growers !! How are you ? I spent a whole week without posting updates on my girls, I got very sick, stomach problems and that made me very discouraged and having trouble making better pictures, but next week I will try to test the results !! This is the last week of the cultivation, next week I will carry out the harvest, about 5% of the trichomes are amber in color !! I already stopped with the nutrients and I won't make a flush, since my cultivation was totally organic !! I'm happy with the results and the aroma of citrus mango is wonderful! 😊

As of day 36, the Blue Dream'Matic is turning into a monster. She's the largest autoflower I've grown at her age, despite sharing my 6sqft tent with another plant. As the growth has been so healthy and the transitioning to flowering nutrients has been smooth, my main concern is how much stretch is going to occur in this early flowering stage. The new nodes that are budding are getting tighter so I'm optimistic about the quality and yield come harvest time. Blue Shark is looking fab! Still a darker green than everyone else. There are 2 videos this week, one where I explain how my plan for a tomato roof using materials I already had didn't work out, and the 2nd being about the rogue who grew in my pea bed (whom I affectionately call "Rogue One") who has been raised almost exclusively on my homemade compost. I had people who were concerned last year when I made my own compost tea from the compost in my pile. People were concerned about bacteria, nutrient profile, etc. I feel like a lot of people get really regimented in their feeding, and they sort of forget that these are plants and they can adapt. They take what they need if it's available. I moved away from using mineral salts this year because you have to be careful with so many of these fertilizers so that you don't burn the plant, you have to flush it so you don't get a harsh smoke, mineral salts causing lockout, etc. If you stick with products that are natural you don't really have to worry about nute burn. You don't have to flush for an extended period of time before harvest. You don't have salts building up in the soil that are detrimental that you have to periodically flush and then add beneficial microbes back in. There is another way.
