starting week 6,the wedding cheesecakes are in flower for a couple of days now and the gg are starting to flower. alot of wind and clouds and rain these past two weeks but the girls are looking good in my opinion. update:after 4 or 5 days of rain and low temperatures finally the re is sunlight so the girls have to recover a bit. but things are looking better wheatherwise. cheers!

I topped and trained them two more times. I also lolipopped them, that is cut the bottom 2 sets of leaves and branches.

Gonna top her soon. For now she can grow. She's looking good and healthy 😍✌️💚

Another excellent easy to grow strain. Early on she developed what appeared to be rust spots on the bottom half fan leaves. I implemented calmag into her feeding. It didn't appear to reverse the impact but did delay it or slow it down. Not to mention the last month she and the others have been neglected due to my schedule. She has been very resilient throughout. She is in the drying phase currently so I will definitely update when I take her for a test drive.

Sunday the 14th of May Day 18 of 12/12 defoliation done still need to clean up the lower part of the plant a bit more I just hadn’t got the time to do them I will get back in on day 21 to clean up the bottom of the plants any branches that haven’t made up past the first trellis will definitely be removed and see how it’s looking all feeding same as previous week looks like the stretch is almost done and buds starting to form front left plant doesn’t look great but the other 3 are looking good nice bud sites for day 18 of 12/12

Starting to see fatter buds, brown hairs, and lots of trichomes. When looking through the jewelers loop they are all still clear. Not long now for the Wedding Cheesecake. She is in the middle. This will be her last feeding. Then I will start flushing next two weeks until she is ready to harvest.

The budding has begun👀. Flowers are starting to mature pistols are turning to buds. Everything’s looking great! Looking forward to the buds putting on weight. Just continuing to water and added some bud candy for trichome production. The tropical cooler is super fruity dank smell if that is what you are looking for I highly recommend. The next best sent is the Super Lemon Haze x Gary Payton lemon tropical punch smell. The Blueberry Swirl has a zesty lemon smell. Fat Banana has a buttery lemon smell. Probably gonna pheno hunt Tropical Cooler later.

Today is Day 50 !! We have started flower an they are just looking amazing! We have switched up the nutrients for flower, instead of 1 tsp bloom and 3 tsp of veg , we just swap 3 tsp of bloom and 1 tsp of veg !! Can’t wait to see what these laddies do this week!!

I cut the plant after 48 hours of total darkness. To flush the best, I ran a few dozen liters of water through the jar until the one that came out below was transparent. Although the flowers failed to close, I am satisfied with the result and the smell of the buds inspires a good terpene. To dry well, I moved the grow box to the room with an air conditioner. I'm keeping the temperature around 26-27 degrees and the humidity around 50%.

Weekly update on these beautiful ladies. Did another defoliating this week as well as lollipopped them up another node. I feel it helps mature the lower flower sites and allows plenty of airflow though the leafs. I introduced bloom nutes as well as P&K. All in all Happy Growing

Day 28 of flower and I’m very happy with these two ladies atm. In both vids, you can tell which one will have the fatter nuggs. The plant in the first vid, was transplanted into Fox Farm Ocean Soil and the other was not. I can tell you right now, your grow medium definitely makes or breaks your grow. I will be using FF as medium of choice from here on out. Not much else to say other than they’re done stretching and are starting to fattening up every day. Got a little over 40 days left until it’s harvest time. 42 to be exact! But I’ll catch yall on the next update ✌️🏾

there they are , all 10 seeds have grown above the ground there is 1 that has a paler color but its still early and so anything can still happen the other 9 appaer to be healty from today we count day 1 of the growth

Well this was the last week! Had to chop her for various reasons but she’s pretty much done! I will let the pics and videos do the talking! I will update in 7 days with details of the harvest weights etc 😎

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. First grow, if you have any advice or feedback to give me go ahead :). All conditions of the plant will be what the plant is currently at in week 3. I tried to keep it as organic as possible and only cut one of the lower leafs to try to get a clone going.
