It's week 8 and all she is looking great as she progresses deeper into senescence; however, she is still a bit greener than either of her tent mates! She just seems to get frostier ❄️ by the day and her fragrance smells a bit sweeter than last time I ran her. I love her colors, the pink and yellow contrast is just beautiful! I keep checking trichomes, but still not a lot of amber. Maybe another week or more. Also, I realized my BlueLab Conductivity Meter has the option to switch to EC. Since EC is the most accurate way to measure the nutrient concentration in a solution, I will now be measuring and reporting EC readings rather than PPM. Any advice, suggestions, or constructive criticisms are always welcome. After the new branches have grown three nodes, I topped at the 3rd node to start the four branch split that will eventually allow me to top once more.

Week 8, last week of feeding. Plants look good, smell is nice, super sticky! Round 2 with this strain has been better, compare to round 1, but I still find this strain very nutrient hungry.

Week 7 of flower in the books and we’ve had to adjust to the height issues in an attempt to salvage what we can of the largest mains on the cheese. Really should’ve done this 2 weeks ago and while it’d be preferable not to supercrop this late in flower - there really wasn’t a choice. It was done early in the week and the plant is none the worse for wear. On the whole, the nute burn issue has been rectified and while the damage isn’t massive, it’s still really obvious. For all the above reasons, We’re really not going to get that late flower look with this plant. Kinda sad there. Otherwise, the plants have begun to colour up and were quickly coming in to the harvest window. At this rate it looks like the gorilla cookies and cherry Bomb will go off first, with the cheese to follow and the lemon haze last. The GC is absolutely covered in trichs. We expect a great finish for this one. She’s unlike any pheno I’ve seen on here - ducksfooted with a pineapple shape to her heads but again, got it where it counts. The cherry Bomb is similar but also true to her description - huge cherry diesel scent coming off this plant. She’s chunky and sticky too so very pleased she’s made something of herself. The lemon haze is developing And rounding out slower. Trich production is moderate and I suspect she’s got a week longer than the rest. We’re getting there - maybe a week to 10 days. Almost time for jazz hands👍😎. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Hi all another week closer to the end goal,hopefully I'll can stop paying everyone else for there shit fucking weed they sell me and I can get top shelf stuff out me shed haha.well that's the plan and by god has this been and experience.first grow so you on top off everything before it even starts sometimes making my own problems mostly but honestly it was a joy and eventful.first fan broke,2 cheap dehumidifiers not making one bit difference so keeping temps and humidity down the last 2 to 3 weeks has been crazy bought another dehumidifier a big 20 litre one great job but in tent temps would be 30 degress if left it so learned lung room important so just keeping that best i can but with no fan no carbon filter not due to arrive till 21st of may ill be smoking a blunt when it arrives so the smell is off the charts ha plus wife says she was talking to post man more times since the start of this grow than me as I've been out entertain the girls for weeks haha🤣🤣🤣 So on to plants feeding strawberry banana same as always not there yet wait another week maybe and might only do 3 days flush on her ill see but have been flushing wedding cheesecake the last nine days more than I want to as waiting on new tent hopefully here Tomorrow so chop chop she responding well anyway only fan leaves going yellow not sugar leaves as of yet so want to do it before that starts happening im actually shitting myself about it tho has anyone else felt like that on there first grow I taught my problem would be ill do to early chop to quick just saw the thing down before there was even a bud just dying to smoke it because can't wait but it's the opposite I just don't touch it now dont want to fuck it all up so I'm terrified to go near it with a cutters 😅 😅🤣wen tent arrives ill be more confident I reckon we'll ill have to no matter what she has to come down tomorrow fingers crossed all goes well Thanks again for stopping by and all the help a long the way definitely would be ready for chop without it. Smoke report! 10/10/20 tastes are tropical with a citrus hint and pine! Also tastes like it has some gas on it too can feel the power in every blast! Feels like euphoric a lot of day dream happy thoughts great for music and day smoke puts you in the best of moods! Not much to say on a negative as it tastes so good your mouth waters lol but could say makes you very very sleepy 😴 thank you for popping by check out them tones and fades 😍 Was amazing to grow! Ran into no problems along the way she literally just grew and grew! She showed her beauty from early and was shining through colours of purple/red even on the leaves! And her smell “oh my” is exclusive like sherbet and citrus and fruit and candy! I’ll add more photos after cure and also a smoke report! Want to allow this to cure about 2 weeks before I even try her!

Girls are looking good. The MBAP is going really quickly, she's flowering at an extortionate rate. I'm unsure if this is because she wasn't topped & Mainlined or if that's just her genetics, as the Sour Melon appears to be quite far behind budding wise. The MBAP really is a budding machine, I'm going to get my gf to take proper pics of them next week for everyone to see. Not much to report, most of the training has finished now on all plants, will do one more defoliation session on the Six Shooter, and 1-2 more on the younger 2, and possibly a bit of tying and tidying up on the younger ones too. Gave all 3 girls a good dose of PK tea the other day and my Bio-PK booster has just arrived from Biotabs, so I'll be adding this in with my weekly PK boost watering. Apart from that, they will be on strictly plain water all the way through to harvest. As you can see, we've got a baby Green Crack, Masszar Haze CBD & Sour Melon on the way as 1 day old babies as well, I'll be doing a separate diary for them. 12/1 update: nothing much more to report, did a defoliation on all plants, the Six Shooter for the final time, and didn't spray them with any recovery spray. The 2 younger girls are drinking several lirres of water a day. The MBAP's flowers really smells absolutely incredible. I'm disappointed by how far behind the Sour Melon is. Worryingly, there isnt much frost on the Six Shooter, who is probably about 2-3 weeks away from harvest. I'll be giving her a strong PK tea this weekend, her second-to-last one. I like to give the final one about 10 days before I harvest, as I harvest the tops and then leave the bottom half to develop for a further 3-5 days. The new girls are about 3 days old. I have started a separate diary for them.

Now using the perfect PPM worsheet made by Grow Boss.

This week things are swelling quick great ! The purple is showing up more but still only trace amounts. The black has no signs of changing colour however I already know my pheno ain’t the one ☝️ . But the purple shows promise!! Slow at cloning and a higher mortality rate then the black amnesia haze. This one almost every single clone I made all root amazingly ! Highly recommend for its yields and ease in the grow room. You can really feed it high . Still unknown why the purp has curling leaves but from others grows I see it’s fairly common . I’m guessing it prefers a slightly more alkaline PH . I’ve been using citric acid to ph correct and every time I sway a little low like 6.4-6.2-5.9 the plants leaves curl slightly more. Most mixes are in the 6.8-6.5 range however.

The stretch is real with this phenotype during the flower stage. The smell is something like guava but it also has the smell of like coffee beans. Everything seems to be going great I believe I solved the ph problem. Peyote is looking much better.

i went to work like 2-3 days not coming home and she is nearly dry out to dead but luckily i came back in time and fix it.

She has a nice balance of resin coverage on both leaves and flowers. Flowers grow nicely compact and the quality is great. She is a lovely all-rounder in many aspects. -Effect - Strong, Happy, relaxed, but not too inda-couch. -Medicinal Benefits - Great strain for pain and stress relief.
