It has been a very uncomfortable week, also known as the "sheep cold". Lots of wind, lots of rain and temperatures down to 5°C at night. I'm glad I built a support frame for the large plants, otherwise a few branches would have broken off. The plants in the pots are doing well, even those planted directly in the garden soil seem to be settling in. There are no pests to speak of. I had to harvest my Blue Dream plant early due to some larger mold spots I found on the buds. To prevent the mold from spreading to my other plants, I acted quickly and made the cut. Unfortunately, this meant I couldn't give her a proper flush. Despite the abrupt end, the aroma of the buds is fantastic, and I'm optimistic about the taste. During trimming, the scissors became sticky with resin, which is a good sign of potency. I carefully harvested bud by bud to ensure I didn't miss any mold-affected areas. Unfortunately, the main bud had the worst mold spot, so I had to take it apart. It's puzzling since they were never outside during rain and only had to contend with morning dew. Overall, I'm pleased with this grow and feel humble. It was an incredible journey filled with challenges and triumphs. I'm looking forward to enjoying the fruits of my labor and learning from the experience. Thank you to all my growmies for following along and being part of this learning experience. After 9 days of drying, I brought the Blue Dream buds into my apartment for the final trim before jarring. The initial yield was 40 grams, but during my last inspection, I discovered more mold spots, this time buried deep within the buds. Unfortunately, all the larger colas were affected, forcing me to take the buds almost completely apart. In the end, I managed to salvage 21 grams of pure, healthy buds without any mildew. I also set aside 6 grams of “quarantine” buds, which I’ll dry separately. Sadly, I lost 13 grams to mildew—a tough blow, but one of the harsh realities of outdoor growing. It’s disheartening, especially since three other friends experienced similar losses this season. Honestly, I’m not sure what I could have done differently, aside from discarding the plant earlier. But even with these setbacks, if the cured buds taste as good as they smell, I’ll still consider this grow a success. The genetics from Fastbuds proved to be solid, and I recognize that the challenges I faced were largely due to environmental factors and my own decisions. This was a learning experience, and despite the issues, I'm happy with what I've achieved.

Ok let’s go! She’s doing so amazing! She’s catching up at such a fast rate! I guess that’s brand new genetics for you plus that added Zamnripper umph combined force lol I trimmed away the lower leaves off her and she loved it appreciated it and boosted up! Dynomyco is obviously doing it’s thing too helping her get to canopy! And with help of the new light TSW2000 from mars hydro it will be a better outcome! I continue to give her a little spray a few times a day only lightly but it helps with the low humidity! I am in 2 minds with the flip! Like do I wait for this to go 4 weeks at least or just go for it so I’ll decide very soon! As that’s in a few days lol so she’ll be 3.5 weeks! So should be alright!

Nematodes inoculated. Topped, I'll probably start quad-lining it soon. Clone started in soil (mulched with its own chopped leaves). The cover crops are invading this little garden. It doesn't show but it has already been trimmed last week. Radishes will be harvested in about 10 days, it'll make some more room for basil that I'm propagating for this tent. Let´s start a new week 😎👌 Day36 very sunny and warm... "Hilde 2.0" goes well 😎👍🙏 Day37 starts with massive cloudy weather but later it turns into a sunny afternoon 😏🙏 Day38 was cloudy and rainy and not so much sun around here 😳😵

This week I decided to recruit my husband to get a proper look at this girl's roots. She's gotten so damn big that it's impossible for me to get a shot otherwise. Her root ball is massive. She's large and in charge. I went through and gave her another thorough round of defoliation. What I removed was any droopy leaves in the underbrush, as well as any fan leaves that were casting shadows and blocking light from my bud sites. When I was finished, I was able to stand over my plant, look down, and visibly see through to the base of my plant and grow media. Being able to do this suggests to me that my light source is also able to penetrate down throughout the plant as well. The removal of these leaves also contributed to improved air circulation and decreased humidity - both which are important as we progress through the flowering stage. This week I also caught my first whiff of this plant's sweet aroma. I'm excited to see how her terps develop over the upcoming weeks! 😋😋😋 I cloned another branch off this plant. Flush at day 51. 10 days and I cut

Die fünfte Woche startet mit einer (Teil-)Entlaubung, das Blätterdach ist wieder sehr dicht gewachsen. Die Blätter bekommen wieder ein satteres grün. Irgendwann innerhalb der nächsten Wochen sollten sie ihr Geschlecht zu erkennen geben, noch sind sie etwas schüchtern. Ich sehe die ersten Anzeichen, kann es aber noch nicht klar deuten - abwarten und Tee trinken. Ich habe dem Wassertank meines Autopot Systems einen Luftstein hinzugefügt. Wird das einen großen Effekt bringen? - keine Ahnung. Kann es schaden? - ich denke nicht. So langsam zeigen sich die ersten weiblichen Vorblüten, ich kann aber noch nicht bei allen 13 Pflanzen mit Sicherheit das Geschlecht bestimmen.

Obama runtz x gas tax sad to say both seedlings are super crappy so far. If it was not for the gas tax parent being the best flower ever then I wld just toss these but sometimes the crappy slow growing plants end up being super dank It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

Not much to report this week. She's starting to smell more funky like that good dank stank. Before it was all pine and citrus scents. You can catch a whiff without having to rustle with it. Her buds are stacking nicely and looking THICK thick. I think the next few weeks are gonna be just that.... fattening up and ripening. Her colas are nicely shaped and even the bottom "popcorn" nugs feel dense. Def bigger than popcorn nugs I've seen. Anyways here's the update on her, I hope you enjoy following the grow!
