Update: All 3 seeds broke ground on May 20. Ready to see these babies grow big and beautiful. Germ Day 1: Today I decided to plant 3 Fast Buds Afghan Kush Auto. I mixed the Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4 with a couple tbsp of mychorrizae and crushed egg shells into 5 gal of sunshine #4 which is predominantly a peat based media. I watered around the seed thoroughly. I am using the sponsored Vipar Spectra XS2000 and think it will be awesome for these auto flowers. It’s a super strong light with an awesome spectrum. I have it set at 30% at 34”. I’m excited to see how this combo works. I’ve seen great things from each part and looking forward to a great result together. Happy Growing 🌱

This girl is growing like a sword – tall, slender, and cutting through the canopy with style 😅 She's stretched quite a bit, and down below she’s rocking four tiny side shoots that I’m honestly not sure what to think of yet. But hey, I’m letting her do her thing. Stretch seems to be slowing down now, and I'm starting to spot the very first trichomes glistening under the light, always an exciting moment! Another week in vegetation to open the branches a little more. I've done an error cropping too much on plant #1 and now I've a 5 way LST... 😳

4/15/25 This plant is blowing my freaking mind. Long stacked colas. Even the lower buds are plumping up like golf balls. This is an exceptional plant so far. Shes starting to show the classic "sherbert" purple that ive noticed shows up with anything that has sunset sherbert in the lineage. Some of the leaves are starting to fade slightly and the purple is coming in. The rs11 that this seed came from, produced the most from a single plant out of all plants ive grown and trained and kept that small. She yielded 3.5 ounces or a 1/4lb of top nugs from a plant that was only about 18 inches tall and vegged for 6 weeks before flip. Once i start to clear out all of the fan leaves later on in flower, its just going to be buds running the length of the stems 4/18/25 I really believe this may be a keeper. She is absolutely stunning. Just everything is perfect. She has super long stacking of buds up and down the stems. Im actually super stoked to see how she finishes up. One of the craziest parts is that shes in a plastic 2 or 3 gallon pot and this plant is going to yield insane.

Here we are, ready, after a week of truly fruitful germination we have 20 beautiful plants all marked with the Z of Zamnesia. We have moved on to autoflowering, unlike many growers I have no prejudices about this type of plant, it is true that they are the easiest to make but it is also true that they have improved a lot in terms of flower quality and if once ease meant lower quality now even the most presumptuous old school flower children growers struggle to understand if a flower is autoflowering or a normal photoperiod plant. There are people who claim to recognize it by the flavor but then never succeed, it's funny how it works. I enjoy making them strip their heads with these magnificent new autoflowering. This one in particular is not brand new but it has always kept up with the times and has the strength of the name and the stability of the historic strains of Zamnesia this is nothing universal strains this is one of the spearheads of the house: Sticky Beast autoflowering. It's really a great plant already grown in the past by me and some of my friends have always loved it like crazy. Week 9 D66. Mad how far she is behind. She only started first signs of stigma, (flowering, pistons, white hairs) 14-18 days ago. So by right you should give any auto up to 55 days of flowering. I know some say 70days from seed-harvest but you start counting once you see signs of flowering, no auto will be done under 40 days, has to have at the very very least 40days and even then she still more than likely could still happily bake for 14days and not bend a leaf in unhappiness. You always wanna go by the trichomes either way. Am pushing the PPM up by a couple 100, she can take it. Am going to give her another 20days on this mix 3 weeks and then change it up by dropping nutes and cutting the PPM at least by half a week before the 2 week flush, (when I say flush, I just mean just flawless finish with no run-off and let the plant finish up on that. This being the course if nothing comes up. But you never know with autos. RH is steady at 65% in the tent and 55-58% in the room temp is 21 with lights off and on its 26c. 15/3/22 Taking a lovely overall shape. Going to have some nice long colas hopefully. 12/12, Fertilization goes on the same days with the nutrients above and water intake approx 300 ml per plant per day. Ventilation on at the same time also. They are crazily stretching:)

Defoiled alot of leaves underneath and some of the leaves that put shade on budsites Also defoiled for reducing RH and increasing airflow

I believe #2 is ready to pull now. Gonna do that on Monday. #1 still has a while to go but is flowering faster than the true photoperiod plants. Maybe auto genetics speeds it up even though I had to flip to 12-12. Smells sweet and is very sticky to the touch. Any advice for keeping its smell during drying and curing? Last few have always lost their smell before it's ready :(

Week 11: Final Countdown Light Mold Issues: Despite careful management, I encountered some light mold issues on both plants. Fortunately, I discovered the mold spots early and was able to remove them without significant losses. This underscores the importance of vigilance during these final weeks. Tangie: Tangie’s buds continue to swell and mature beautifully. The aroma of fresh orange peels is more pronounced, and the smell is fantastic. While not as frosty with resin as Gorilla Cookies, Tangie makes up for it with her delightful scent. Currently, about 20% of the trichomes are still clear, with the rest turning cloudy. I'm aiming for all cloudy and very few amber trichomes to achieve an uplifting effect. Tangie will receive one more feeding with Finalpart before starting the flushing process. Gorilla Cookies: For Gorilla Cookies, I plan to feed her with Finalpart only one more time, and then it’s flushing time. The trichomes are mostly cloudy, with no amber trichomes yet. Unlike Tangie, Gorilla Cookies is covered in resin, with a strong skunky aroma that intensifies daily. Pest Management and Plant Health: The sticky traps have been effective in keeping thrips at bay, and there have been no new issues with aphids. Overall, both plants appear healthy and vibrant, showing no signs of stress as they approach harvest. Environmental Conditions: The weather remains hot but humid. While the plants are receiving less light on the balcony compared to the garden, this hasn’t significantly affected the ripening process. Having them on the balcony makes it much easier to monitor them daily, reducing the risk of mildew and significant losses. Final Thoughts: As harvest time approaches, I'm excited for the final results. Everything is prepared for harvest, and the weather will stay perfect for the last few days. I plan to give the plants as much time as needed to reach their full potential. Update 08.08 During my morning inspection, I found mildew on both plants. For the Gorilla Cookies, I had to remove some larger mold spots inside the buds. I carefully disassembled parts of the plant to ensure I didn’t miss any mold and ultimately decided to harvest it. Although I couldn’t let it fully ripen as planned, the trichomes were about 90% cloudy and 10% clear. That most be good enough. For Tangie, the compact and bushy growth led to some mold issues. I took the largest colas off and gave them a thorough inspection to make sure no mold was left behind. So far, I've harvested about 70% of the plant. Since most of the pistils on the remaining parts are still white, I'm giving them a bit more time to mature. I'll keep feeding with Finalpart at a slightly lower dosage and see if we can squeeze out a bit more potential from these final buds! Update 12.08: Final Countdown We’re almost there! Most of the trichomes are now cloudy, with a few amber ones starting to show up on the top buds—signaling that she’s nearly ready for harvest. Today, I gave her the final dose of Finalpart. I’m convinced that Finalpart has made a significant impact, boosting resin production and speeding up the ripening process. The buds are looking absolutely fantastic. Once the coco dries out, I’ll give her a thorough flush to eliminate any remaining minerals from the grow medium. I’m optimistic that this will further enhance the aroma and flavor, making the final product even more exceptional.
