Welcome to week 1 of my CBD Medi Kush Diary! I have 2 - CBD Medi Kush by Spliff Seeds going in the same tent with 14 other plants (full details on all of the other plants can be found on my "Dude's New Diary to Rule Them All" diary, check it out). But with the CBD Medi Kush I'm also growing 3 - DinaMed CBD+ by DinaFem, 1 - Critical+ by DinaFem, 3 - Cream & Cheese CBD by Seedsman and 7 - Cherry Blossom CBD Hemp by Elevator Supply Co. The 2 CBD Medi Kush plants and 2 of the DinaMed CBD+'s were all started from seed at the same time (all other plants are clones). Once all surviving clones/seedlings were healthy enough I transplanted from dixie cups to small pots (I guess around 1 litre). They were transplanted into soil I had been composting and turning for 3-4 weeks. They really responded well to the transplanting and the new soil. Noticeable growth in 48 hours. The pictures in week 1 were taken right after transplanting (check week 2 and you will see a very noticeable change all around). My plan this grow is to go organic (or as organic as possible). While the soil was composting I added old fan leaves to the mix as well as Recharge, Mr B's Green Trees 'Growth', and Jobe's Organic granular fertilizer. I know, I know, everyone says don't use time release nutes with cannabis. BUT, The Rev said it was fine in his "True Living Organics" book. He actually recommends putting spikes in the flowering pots prior to transplant (I'm planning on trying that too). Recharge and Mr B's Green Trees don't claim to be organic specifically for whatever reason, but the ingredients include pretty much everything The Rev recommends adding to composting soil. Plus I love Recharge, that stuff is great! Organic or not I'll be using Recharge along the way. Here's the setup... First of all, I'll let you know my grow area is in my attic. The previous owners finished the attic with walls lights and even carpeting, but for some reason kept the folding attic stairs. Its pretty a pretty good space, we divide the attic in half. One side for my plants, they other for attic type storage. I have 2 2x4 tents and a larger flowering area (10x12'ish). One of the tents I use for drying only, the other is where I have these babies growing. The babies are currently under a single Viparspectra V300 300W LED. I'm having really good results with Viparspectra LED's. Bang for the buck, Viparspectra is hard to beat. I have a 2nd 300W Viparspectra which is a R300 (more reds) which is better for flowering. I may stick the R300 in the tent as well at some point, but for now the single V300 is doing a great job. In the flowering area I'm running 1000W HPS. The HPS has been kicking ass with the plants in flower now and I'm expecting more of the same with these girls when they are ready for the big time. Side note: I'm running a separate diary for all of these girls. In this diary I'm just going to focus on the CBD Medi Kush specifically. But I did start the CBD Medi Kush and DinaMed CBD+ seeds at exactly the same time. So, in the other diary I will do some comparisons and contrasts between the 2 strains as they grow. So far the DinaMed is taller, but the CBD Medi Kush has beautifully stacked node structure. This looks like its going to be a win-win. Please follow and comment away!!! les 2 petites sont dans la serre 😀. le maintien du climat est plus facile que je ne le croyais, j'ai commencé les nuits et j'ai ramarqué que le taux d'humidité relative est plus simple a stabiliser. la nothern lignts est plus grande en taille que la stress killer et rattrape un peu son retard. j'ai fait 2 essais différents, pour la pousse, la stress killer est dans son pot definitif. La nothern light est dans un gobelet en carton pré-percé : pour constater, ce qui est le plus efficace. Mes doutes maintenant, se porte sur l'arrossage, j'ai peur du surarrosage. Et je me doute que si il n'y a pas assez d'eau que ça cause un retard de croissance. donc je mets peu d'eau. la temperature extérieur monte espérons que ça le fasse^^

2018-04-03 Week 14 Day 1 Not much to say, there isn't much drama going on in growroom 2, the only things I do is giving them water and nutes 2 - 3 times/week and making sure that the lamp don't burn the girls. I gave them 4 liters today, and since they live in smartpots I can see when the pot gets wet when watering the girls, but you could hardly notice that. They are getting thirsty 😛 The flowers are developing very good, they look really healthy and their colors are fine. Sour Ripper nr 1 is 78 cm Sour Ripper nr 2 is 78 cm 2018-04-04 Raised the lamp to it’s highest level and turned all girls 1/4 turn, it’s really hard to get in to the ladies in the back, I need to push the girls up against the walls on each side and crawl on the floor to be able to turn them and give them water/nutes. Been a good week explosive growth first signs off early stages of flower few plants come out with spotting and few yellow leafs tent is starting to get cramped tried to spread um out as even as possible with the space we have , first dose of nutrients solo soil nutes we’ve gone with as recommended by the local grow shop

Probably sleep one of the plants in darkness for a couple of days and harvest midweek. The other plant can wait another week. Both plants smell lovely.

The Cookies ladies have been growing along side the Betty’s, doing their thing ❤️ The 2x4 is coming along, not quite as big and plump as my big tent, but producing some nice nugs nonetheless. The frost is starting! These girls were not as early producers, but seem to be responding well to the wind and light stress! The second trellis was definitely needed, even though they are not quite as tall as their grow mates. They have been keeping to the same schedule of needing to be watered every 72 hours. I will be switching from cal/Mag to Mag/Sulphur supplements later this week. I ❤️ how readily available these Advanced Nutrients are. 😎 The nutrient burn on some of the tips has not spread or gotten worse. The feed range seems to be the 700-750 range. Still keeping to the feed, water, feed schedule, with the 2nd feed being a much lighter dose of nutrients. I’ve increased the light intensity of the SF 4000 to 90% and will probably be stopping there. The temps have been getting as high as 81 degrees, and low as 73 at night. I’ve decreased the humidity to fluctuate around 50% , giving a reasonable VPD for most of the time, thanks to the automation of the in-line exhaust fan. Still have 4-5 weeks for these babies, I’m hoping they continue to plump up, they are showing some great promise. Happy Gardening 🤗❤️👊🇨🇦

Been a great couple months. Lol. Coast of Maine feed has been great with a smidge of Gaia green powerbloom. She's fed about every two weeks. The tsp per gallon is of soil she's in. Not really an exact measurement because I just kinda grab some with my hand and mix it with my homemade horse compost and top her off. She seems to be happy though.

Another week almost over, the girls are beautiful and smell great. Apparently everything is under control, I'm really looking forward to the results. Happy growing! 🌱🌱🌱
