1/10 - Day 56 / Day 28 Flower The nutrient deficiency appears to be getting worse. After some reading, I suspect I may have a pH issue which is causing a nutrient lockout. I gave each of my plants enough water to get some runoff that I could test. When I first tested the runoff, I was getting pH readings of around 5.6-5.8 for my 5 gallons....not good. Way too acidic. I decide to do a flush out of an abundance of caution. I ran about 8 gallons of water that ranged between a pH of 6.5 and 7.2. At a certain point, I ran out of distilled and dechlorinated tap and decided to stop flushing at that point rather than introduce chlorinated tap water. At the end of the flush, I was getting pH readings of around 6.1 and 6.2 for my 5 gallons. Not ideal but should at least mitigate any further damage. Remarkably, some of the leaves that were starting to yellow began to bounce back shortly after the flush. **************************************************** 1/11 - Day 57 / Day 29 Flower The conditions haven't dramatically improved but also haven't appear to get dramatically worse. The leaves that were already yellowing seemed to yellow a bit further but I didn't notice any new leaves yellowing. After still more reading, I think I narrowed the issue down to a magnesium issue. My leaf symptoms seem to match all of the tell tale signs - leaves were turning pale green before fading to yellow, the yellowing was showing up first around the edges but all the veins were still green. Combined with the fact that magnesium lockouts typically occur when the soil is too acidic - I think I found my culprit. Even though the soil was still wet on my 5 gallons, I decided to go ahead and provide a half gallon of distilled water with 5mg of Cal-Mag to each plant. Of course, this was before I read some of the responses to my grow question and this was the exact opposite advice suggested by @BluntZilla who I think has the correct diagnosis of my problem (calcium toxicity causing other nutrient lockouts)... :facepalm: **************************************************** 1/12 - Day 58 / Day 30 Flower Based on the symptoms I'm having, it looks like the biggest nutrient deficiency I'm having is magnesium. In an attempt to mitigate that deficiency, I made a solution combining a gallon of distilled water with two tablespoons of epsom salts and applied as a foliar spray. Started applying this today - once in the morning and once in the evening. **************************************************** 1/14 - Day 60 / Day 32 Flower Watered my plants using spring water until I could produce runoff. The runoff readings were as follows: Z51: - pH = 6.4 - TDS = 1080ppm - EC: 2.2 Z52: - pH = 6.3 - TDS = 1040ppm - EC: 2.1 While it appears my pH is back in a healthy range, my EC readings are a bit higher than I'd like. Ideally, I'm aiming for 1.8 but didn't want to continue shocking my plants with a flush. **************************************************** 1/16 - Day 62 / Day 34 Flower My plants still haven't really turned a corner with the nutrient lockout issues as new leaves continue to succumb to the same symptoms of slow yellowing. Despite these issues, my buds are continuing to develop and becoming more full and dense.

Start of week 5 today, everything seems to be going great! The Gelato OG is by far the biggest plant of the bunch so far but they all seem to be taking well to LST, HST , Topping & defoliation! Will be going in the flower tent as soon as the other ladies harvest so they will probably have atleast 2 to 3 more weeks of veg!

Week 8 update.... Plants are taking their sweet time. Hoping im doing this shit right. I trimmed some more popcorn bud branches and took out a bunch of fan leaves. Trying to utilize my light and control environment. Opened up the canopy with some pipe cleaners.... is it too early to guesstimate yield? Plants are 8 weeks, about 2 weeks into flower. . i figure i have another 50 days or so. Breeder gives 65 days for flowering. Im at around 15. Not counting the week stretch after first preflowers...... feeding about 2300 ppm. Light about 15 inches above canopy. Now it's the waiting game. Light staying where it's at. Ec staying where it's at until flush. They're shouldn't be many leaves growing back. My only thing i have to focus on is the amount of times i water a day and keeping an eye out for any cal mag deficiencies. Gave a little cal/mag/ nitrogen for the loss of leaves in tonight's feeding.

Sept 25th a.m. - fed ea. Congo and Natural Mystic 1/2 volume H2o/ Molasses mix; C 2.75L / NM 2.5L - fresh LST where needed - light survey showed an imbalance with taller autoflower in the mix. It was LST’d into a lower profile and moved deeper into the corner. Light distance for the Congo etc is now dialed-in after a bit of a shuffle. *** reminder Oct 8 is Lights-Out *** 36 hrs of darkness 26th - followed-up on yesterdays LST and put some actual direction on the Nat Mystic Branches. Its a tightly spaced unit but the branches are getting into some open air now. Look-out for what happens next 27th, - everything looks great this morning. Big feeds tonight if soil allows; 6.5L congo / 6L NM ** topping observation ** In an effort to produce a 16 cola plant using Topping methods, i am in the middle of a side by side topping experiment, and it does look like one method, Does has an advantage over the other! Waiting for each branch to grow past its first Node, and then produce a second Node, this will be the place to top, once the plant grows Past this 2nd node, on each branch. What results is that you only snip each branch Once, after the original Topping. 5 snips will produce 16 Tops. Allow each branch to grow past the 2nd node, then Top. It will produce 4 nodes naturally on each branch. Better overall spacing/symmetry The other significant feature of this response, is that the Durban Poison was a full week behind the Congo & N.M., and it has caught-up and Passed the progress of the natural mystic. Both of these plants (congo/nm) used the extra topping on the upper branch, and its required longer periods for the 4 bud-sites to develop per branch and extend away from the plant. It required more delicate fiddling than the (d)Urban Poison. **** - short video of the Tent uploaded this morning - no feed tonight, too moist 29th a.m. - soil said Go this morning; 6.5L h2o/nutes for the congo & 6L for the natural mystic - Collected details from N.M. & Congo run-off - pulled Northern Light express auto from the tent and replaced her with a 3.5 week old Green Mountain Grape. Move was done to help acclimatize to the cmh lite, ahead of Flower BONUS, you can actually see a bit of a droop on the Congo leaves… this mornings feed was 2 days overdue; the pot was actually lite & confirmed for me the condition of the soil is OK and not waterlogged. Pushed her a little bit towards a Drier Bottom since her last feed. Nice to see that as I crank it up - GMG has been super-cropped on the 28th, to help establish an even canopy - Slip, Snap, lost a Cola. Even though it was the runt, its gonna be missed 30th - OK, did a little homework last nite and the timing could not be better for me, with regards to Flushing 3 plants, ahead of the move into Flower. This stems from capturing some of the run-off after a bigger feed. What resulted is I found a high EC value on the Natural Mystic (3200) that indicates a build-up of Salts in the soil. The Volume 33% says its a bit much… i have been aggressive in my nutrient values but its been incremental. Regardless N.M. gets a quick bath to flush out this bit o History. Congo had less liquid come through but was still an elevated value (EC 2300) and will receive a Flush as well. ((d)URBAN POISON barely had any liquid come out. It will be flushed as well. Call it a tune-up, I’m in. * should anybody see something from those results that I’m missing or misinterpreted… Id be happy to hear about it. Please & Thanks pH probably has something to do with it too, but I don't care right now Effluent details: -Nat Myst released 2L out the bottom after being fed 6L : I’m going to reduce the volume of Water & Nutes fed, targeting 15% run-off. (5L next feed) -Congo released 600ml after 6.5L was fed; Which is a reasonable amount in active use; close to 10% - with height a constant issue in a tent, in my basement… i’m super happy with how low this whole grow has stayed through Veg. Kinda shocked actually… pic #23 - flushed Natural Mystic w/ 20 gallons water - (the little kids pool that I inflate, to flush-in… of course, sprouted a whole shitload of leaks in the Bottom when I was about 18 gallons in. And Yeh, the discharge hose on my electric pump DID COME OUT OF THE SINK DRAIN, 2x. I had water everywhere lol. Actually out in the garage taking care of things right now) Oct 1 - last day week 7 - re-applied the pins holding Nat Mystic in place. She is damp, Healthier & Hungry soon; target = 2 Meals b4 Lights-out. With Congo flush 100% happening… both Meal volumes tbd - been a busy week & things are about to change again. Learnings impact all the different grows. I’ve never flushed Mid-grow; and I’m liking-it !

Well, what we feared, became a reality, one of the regular XTrakush plants is a male. This is why I planted two and I'm happy it seems to be only the one. But with the canopy going nice and full it hurt to get it out. Of course, I hoped to have two females but nature went its course. Considered leaving it in, to pollinate the others, or keeping it somewhere, but I do not have the space or light for it. Thus with pain in my gut, I went about getting her out. I notice a nice developed root system, very healthy, which was very hard to get loose. After shaking the soil off I have a rootball the same size as after my whole grow last time. I could lift the whole 57 ltr bag by lifting the plant. Sturdy stem, thick solid branches. This is what I was aiming for and it works. The soil again is proving itself to be a winner. The light this low gives some higher temps as expected, but manageable within ranges. The SP-3000 is performing really well and I cant wait to see the bud development coming weeks. I'm sure it will deliver a great amount of bigger buds looking at all the flower sites and the thick branches that support them. The plants seem to take the light well on only 45 cm. I've started adding the BAC Organic Bloom Nutrition. It is designed to work with the microorganisms I added with the micro life. With this I do a little bit of Calmag, but not so much, since I don't see any evidence of shortages, again proving my soil is dialed in for growing under LED perfectly. Please hit the like button if you like what you see and ill be sure to check you out too Growmies 🌱 Week 4 of flower that week were things are starting to look gooood, i really hope the stretching has stopped because as you can see they are over 5 foot now absolutely insane 🤣🌱 I must say these Royal Queen seeds are on another level and a have been rapid all the way through… can’t wait to try there more dominant Indica strains, Just added a Co2 Bag and wacked the FC3000 up to 100% Temps around 24-28 ✅ Humidity around 50-70 ❌ Struggling a bit to keep the humidity down so will add a small dehumidifier this week, Need to lose alot of foliage but dont want to shock to much as this stage so just removing where essential, But overall happy how things are moving 👍

Day16: nutrients like plan Day 18: i added 2 secret jardin tled 42w bloom --------------------------------------------- She seems to stuck because of the heavy deflotation last week, but ok lesson learned 🤷‍♂️ Maybe someone have some experience with secret jardin tled can can tell me how far i should place them? 😅 Merry Xmas everyone 🎄🕷️

2/20 Day 38: Well guys shes definitely growing like a bush really rounded and growing really slow but good. Her color is awesome and she is already smelling a bit 😍. I truly love Gelato so I'm stoked to try this lady out and am excited to see how she looks. 🔥 Thinking I'm gonna veg her for another 4 weeks then flip her but will be playing by 👂. Oct.16 - Week 2 begins. I need to stop editing my diaries high. Oct. 18 - Looks like a slight calcium deficiency on the oldest leaves, I'll watch the newer leaves for spots before I increase CaMg though. Oct. 20 - I have been watering with 20ml twice a day, growth rate seems to have increased, but still developing spots so I will increase CaMg today. Oct. 22 - It's growing pretty well considering how sick it seems. Time lapse uploaded.

Smooth harvest, chopped just at the peak of the heatwave. Buds were solid as stone and had been for a while.
