🌿🌸 Week 4 Flowering Update! 🌸🌿 We have officially entered week 4 of the flowering phase, a crucial period where things can get a little nerve-wracking. However, I'm happy to share that everything is looking great so far! 🎉 First off, let me express my relief that I haven't encountered any hermaphroditism issues like some unfortunate growers have experienced. I've been extra vigilant in checking my plants for any signs of bananas or seeds, and thankfully, all is going smoothly on that front. Fingers crossed, and let's hope it stays that way. 🤞 Now, let's talk about the progress of these beauties. The plants are thriving, exhibiting vigorous growth and magnificent stretching. 🌱✨ Maintaining the well-being of my plants remains my top priority. They're displaying a healthy thirst, as each plant continues to drink around 2 liters of water every two days. I've been closely monitoring the pH level of the nutrient solution, which has been steady at 6.11. This ensures optimal nutrient uptake and keeps the plants in their prime condition. Moreover, the TDS range is consistently between 1050 and 1150, providing them with the ideal nutrient balance. ⚖️💧 Speaking of the plants, I must mention how amazing they smell! The aroma is becoming more intense with each passing day. Today, I conducted a smell test for the OG and Oreo strains. The OG emitted a super strong smell of OG/Skywalker, while the Oreo strain has a unique and captivating scent that is difficult to describe but absolutely amazing. I can't wait to smoke that one! Tomorrow, I'll do a smell test for the Queen strain as well. 🌿👃🔥 As we progress through this crucial stage, I'll continue to provide the best care possible to ensure a successful harvest. Today (Day 22) marks the last day of foliar feeding with Bud Factor X, an essential step to maximize THC development and quality. Week 3 of Flower for the FX3 #1 and Lucky 13, the FX3 #2 and Sergeant Sherbert have just started flowering this week after moving from the Veg Tent Into the new 150x150 tent. The Greenhouse food has been amazing completly stress free and the plants look amazing especially in combination with the Autopots! Gonna do a good defoliation and clean up the lower a bit. Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Going to let it ride until morning! Please feel better! [END OF WEEK 02]

Неделя пролитела почти не заметно, назревают соцветья, с каждым днём заметно прирост, по листу заметно что чутка переборщил с удобрением, но сильного стресса не наблюдается На этой недели сильно тренировками не нагружал и дал резкий рост и набрал объём самих ветвей, некоторые стали такой же толщиной что и основной ствол😁

Well there’s 6 weeks of veg down, tonight will be the first night of 12/12 with HPS bulbs in. I’m going to be running the lights from 9pm to 9am due to summer heat and hopefully the tent will run cooler at night. Everything was super cropped today to limit the stretch a little bit, she’s 95% indica so might not get to much stretch, I also don’t have a clue as this is my first photo run with the HPS. All light leaks to the room have been addressed with green bulbs in the room. I’m at least hoping to get an ounce per plant if more great just not really sure what to expect. I feel as tho there is still lots of N in the pots but maybe over the next two week they’ll chew right thru it. Maybe I should have lowered the lights but I’m just going to leave em at the top of the tent..... well that’s it for now, I leave tomorrow for work so the next time we see em they should have some bud starting hopefully!

Semana #2 La catástrofe. Al llegar a mi casa, encuentro este triste escenario.No cerré bien una de las entradas del indoor y una de mis gatas entraron. Murieron tres plantas.Dos Auto Brooklyn Sunrise y una Xtrem Haze. Sentía que este cultivo tenia que ser desechado por todos los problemas iniciales, pero decidí continuar para ver que tanto pueden aguantar las plantas y por la inversion en estas semillas. Las sovrevivientes se veian un poco torcidas, pero veremos que tal siguen. Por todo esto, a las sobrevivientes (3 Auto Mazar y 2 Xtrem) no les haré ningún tipo de técnica y trataré de abonar con lo mínimo un par de semanas.

Day 77 - Was her last day. To be truthful she wasn't 100% ready going on the trichomes but needs must and the other photoperiod girls need their space now. It's crazy how my own personal ability has changed over the years. Blackberry is a strain I've grown every 12 months roughly, GrowDiaries is a fab place to track your learning. Looking back through my old grows I must have been mad to think they were ready to harvest! Way too early! Maybe that's the biggest thing I've learned - patience. Don't be too eager to chop, there is a lot to be gained extending by 2 or 3 weeks... Anyway, back to this girl. She has been chopped and trimmed. Have a look thru the pics, if you see a piece of black tape on the stem the apex bud on that branch was BACKBUILT. I have to say the technique REALLY does work. Those buds look fatter and denser than the others that have been left natural. It seems effective to be done about halfway through flowering, but no later than 3/4 of the way. FINAL UPDATE: So after 2 weeks in the drying net she weighed out to 87.81g. Not a great deal but she was compromised by the photoperiod plants she shared the tent with. It wasn't the full purple phenotype like I had twice before but still she looks pretty.

Day 65 - Maria got some needed defoliation to expose lower nodes to light and increase air circulation through the canopy. She is growing bushy with short internodes. Juanita's new growth looks slightly better, even though growth has slowed down and is very stretchy. Thinking of putting her soul to rest, she's turning out to be a headache in the current tent situation. Day 66 - Maria's growth exploded after yesterday's defoliation. Both plants showed pre-flowers and are both confirmed ladies. 🙂 Day 70 - Both ladies got 1 litre each of plain water. Maria got her lower skirt lollipopped. Also defoliated her from top to expose lower growth to more light. She is still growing very dense. Juanita is showing signs of recovery, new growth is green and purple stems are slowly turning green again I don't like the way she is growing though, internodes are too long. Will have to see what to do with her.

Still a cold April this year but the HPS makes it more warm 🔥 Happy 420 to all the growers here 💚

Day 101. 22 hour dark period. Day 102 chop and hang.

Début de la 1ère semaine officiellement le 10 Septembre, les deux graines de BB ont fait leurs petites plantules en quasiment 1 jour après la mise en terre. J’ai effectué la technique avec le verre d’eau et ça a fonctionné en 1-2j. Semaine 1 demain. À très bientôt ! Once again these girls don’t really need much just watering when dry but other than that we are on cruise mode. I have been checking trichomes for about a week now and man is she almost there I should be giving them lights out with in another week or two can’t wait

Switching to full flower nutrients, she loved the transplant, starting with half the recommended doses, growing some hairs so its te perfect moment to apply some Big One 1ml/l + TopBloom 2ml/l twice a week, to boost hairs growing and to create more bud spots. She really is turning in to a little bush i really like the structure ^^

Alright so last week is here, finally... After smelling this girl you literally want to bite the plant and eat it 🤗🍭🍬, this thing smells like candy and all kind of sweet fruit loops and things, its a world of happiness and unicorns in a plant! Basically she didn't get that big but this was expected as the plant only gets some hours of direct sunlight, maybe 6 or 7 + we had several weeks of rain and now we have an heatwave (this fuc*ing weather is amazing) the good news is that the worms learned their lesson and didn't appear again (they know this hood is mine now!) For the rest, cant wait to harvest and start another grow, as mentioned in my previous balcony grow i would like to put around 6 or something like that, even if i get only 10-15g per plant its still worth it, sunlight is free and its just a little balcony, they dont disturb nobody there

End of Week 4 Trying to make sure the soil stays nice and moist to keep the microbes happy and letting the top 3 cm of the topsoil dry before each watering. . Turned the wattage up on my ballasts to 600W each. The ladies have gained some strength and they can handle the extra wattage. I also performed LST by tucking fan leaves and softly pinching and bending some of the bud sites also used some tie downs and topped here and there whilst keeping the stress at a minimal.

Day 122 Flower 59 Remaining 16!??! so close to flush!!!! OK so I think everything is going great! I'm guessing/ hoping the yellowing leaves is just the plant nearing the end. Though why is just the one plant starting to yellow already? Had to use about 12 yo yo's to help the leaning buds. Some of these poor branches are barely holding on under the weight hahaha Gonna get a little 24x24x48 drying tent. I'll move the carbon filter there for a couple weeks. wont need it in the big tent for a few days. Hope I'm not forgetting anything here. I'll go over the comments I'm sure its in there, but if its not, how do I know when to start the flush??! and do you only give water? I use RO, do you check the PH and adjust that and thats it? You can see in a couple pics the plant on the right is much shorter and the colas are all rounded. weird. My plan for harvest. was planning on using that drying tent...... with a osculating fan at the bottom? or not needed? At harvest I was gonna cut off branch, trim the fan leaves only then hang upside down in the tent. trimming the sugar leaves after drying before curing. All G??

start the second week of flowering ... continue to gain weight visibly, the branches becoming thicker and begin to glimpse the first glasses ..... let's go

She is very generous ... she has 126 days and her shoots are very heavy for the branches .. I feel satisfied for what this automatic gives me ...I believe that today or tomorrow I will cut it ... today I will dedicate myself to cprtar the tangerine ...

Day 15 transplanted to a 10 gal container and 3×3 tent. Day 30 transitioning to flower. She's measuring 24 inches across definitely bushy and stout. Plan on scrogging through the upcoming weeks.
