It started out with the usual feed and defoliation and training. With my upcoming vacation, I am going to be hardening off these ladies to relocate to their outside location. I checked the expected weather forecast for the week. Looks good to start hardening off. Partly cloudy with temps in the low to mid 80s just like in their tent. So that’s good. Night temperatures were in the 50-60s. This is much cooler than what they are used to as our house is at 73. They need to get used to what mother nature will provide. Our summers are hot and humid. I had planned to bring the plants back in the sunroom but since conditions were similar, I let them stay outside every night. And every night but 2 it rained. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6,9, & 11 Opium is a vigorous lady. She will be my glamor girl. She is taller and has the typical sativa structure and has space between the nodes. There is not much leaf growth, so I don’t defoliation much. Her nodes are close but starting to spread out a bit. Started with four now with three one of them was a male so I had to cut it, sadly it was one of my most lush plants. Now one of the ladies is experiencing some sort of deficiency im not sure what it is. At first I thought it was some kind of mite damage but after over looking the whole plant up and down with a magnification lense I saw nothing of the sorts.

Well, this strain is surely flowering for a long time, it's still stretching. I wonder if it will stop stretching and start fattening the buds this week... Anyhow, one of the reasons why I don't defoliate much is because the plant does that by itself. When the lower leaves receive almost no light (because all the light is blocked by the thick growing canopy) they start to send their nutrients to the top. When they are donez they just fall off on their own. You see, leaves are like solar panels AND nutrient reserves! Just make sure this process is slow and the leaves that receive light are still very healthy and green. If many leaves are falling or if they fall really fast you gotta make sure is not a deficiency or nutrient lockout! ... Again just water your plant with bloom formula (and a bit of calmag) to an EC that allows you to maintain the plant heathly and the runoff not to high (in my case 1mS/cm). Remember to alternate nutrients and pHd tap water. That's pretty much all left to do from here to harvest. Obviously if you see something wrong try to correct it. Day 66 update. I dropped something on my plant. It bended one branch very badly and severed some leaves and a bud :( Well, accidents happen. Luckily cannabis is a very very resilient plant, one might be surprised at how much this plants can take. Anyhow, taped everything together loosely, pulled the most bent branches upwards with a thread and I will wait for it to heal... If everything goes well, this branches should be even stronger than the others. Let's hope that's my fate! Update day 69. Although I have been feeding with 1.0 mS/cm once, then pHd water then feed again, the run off from today measured 3.0 mS/cm ! It's climbing still. I flushed again, until the runoff was at 1.5 mS/cm. I think I understand what happened, my theory is that the plant needs a lot more water now, but not as many more nutrients. So it takes the 2.5 daily liters of water, but it might only eat the nutrients in 1lt of water, so the rest stays on the roots and accumulates, raising the EC of the soil. So far, by checking EC on the soil once every week or two I have avoided nutrient toxicity and lockout. I think there are two options, either lowering the concentration of nutrients I feed it (so 2.5 lts a day will contain less dissolved nutrients), or spacing out the feedings with more intermediate waterings of plain water. I think I am going to go with the former, next week I will try feeding an EC of 0.8 mS/cm on 3L then tap water and so on from next week on. I prefer to underfeed than to overfeed, which is what I recommend for other boobs, it's better to have some yield than to risk killing the plant. We will get better with time...

Overall, this plant was a producer! Easy to grow, no surprises and stayed healthy throughout. 11 weeks from seed to harvest. It was squat, but stacked, so airflow and humidity control were key to preventing powdery mildew or bud rot. Took the nutrients like a champ, didn’t show too many demands. I’d like to run this again to see if I can get them taller, to potentially produce more. Otherwise, a very good, potent strain choice for someone who is short on space, and would do well with a sea of green style…Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

On day 38, we topped the top shoots of the chimera again because she is getting way to gig already. Then, after 40 days in the vegetation phase, we sent them into flowering. From now on 12/12h Day-nightcycle We cut some Clones at day 47 because we had to wait until our clonex arrives.

Kicked cup over a little when watering and the seed moved to the side. Don’t really know if I should be concerned about where in the cup it sprouted, also noticed a little discoloration in the leaves turning a little purple ish, so I decided to put a heat mat in the tent and move the light a little closer at night to combat the cold also put heat mat back in tent

06/09/2020 Red Sky #2, #3, 4 are male, #1 is female #5 not showing yet. Males seem to be developing quickly, She will get two buds selectively pollinated by, male #3, and male #5 I'am growing

09/21/24 - Purple Punch 👊 & Green Crack 💚 Both these girls got the lollipop 🍭. All the winners stayed 🏆 😂. They got a bump up in the PPM, and we also increased the TPS Signal for the 3gallon dunk to now 3ml. 100% Bloom juice now. Runoffs are in the 6.3-6 4. So they thriving. 09/24/24 - Purple Punch 👊 & Green Crack 💚 Both these girls are drinking heavy, and already starting to see frost on the PP. We have them a top feed of just pH 7.2 water, to hit the 6.4 runoff.

3 days into flower, no more tucking under the net! Added an oil filled radiator and it’s keeping them dark time temps on point!! Water only untill I see signs of baby flowers! Working on getting better footage for flowering period! 🤞

Bruce Banner #3 fast is just finishing up. Probably gonna be a little on the over done side by the time I can harvest it. 8 days is plan for harvest. I turned the Hortibloom Solux 350 down to 50 percent. I will likely go to 25 percent in a few days. Just to hopefully slow the ripening if I can. It smells good, and has some nice frost on the buds. She is just waiting on her time in the cannatrol. I really need a second one for times like this. Today is the start of GC's 4th week. I started tying her down...evening up the canopy a little bit. I usually get rid of the 1st and/or 2nd node, but hers are long enough I went ahead and kept them. Her canopy really opened up nicely, and everything is pulled down pretty evenly. She is going to be really nice. I haven't introduced any nutes except what is in the FFOF soil. I will start with a small feeding in the next week or so depending on what she tells me. So far I. Super impressed with 420 Fast Buds!!!!
