This week they came out of the nursery and started to absorb light from their leaves instead of water. Growth is slower with the Northern Lights vs. the Cookies Gelato. “Cookie” is a monster so I will name it “Cookie Monster”, and The Northern Lights is called “Noel” because she will be ready around Christmas… When I was young we used to get “Christmas Buds” around the second half of December, which was Original Northern Lights. It’s a childhood dream of mine to grow Northern Lights, so I’m so excited for her to grow up big and strong.😛

Love this 1st grow. Even though its small. Hope I got good weight out of this. Smells great whenever I open my cupboard. Cant wait for my next grow green gelato auto. 😁

She’s been flowering for 4 maybe 5 weeks now initially I thought she was taking long because my 12/12 was a couple mins off giving it more light but corrected that n it just looks like it’ll be a long finish her but it’ll be worth it 😎

Ich bin sehr zufrieden, unsere Pflanzen sind mittlerweile alle so groß, dass sie im Gewächshaus eine Etage nach unten ziehen müssen. Der Geruch wird täglich intensiver. Das Wetter bleibt durchwachsen bis schlecht, ich bin mir nicht sicher ob das 50W Zusatzlämpchen bei 6 Pflanzen noch wirklich einen Unterschied macht... An Tag 40 gab es ein weiteres mal Dünger, diesmal einen ganzen Liter. An Tag 41 habe ich nochmal ihre Höhe gemessen, sie hat einen Stretch von über 20cm in fünf Tagen gemacht😊zwei große Fächerblätter habe ich entfernt, da sie (zukünftigen) Blüten das Licht nehmen.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. All nutrition comes to an end. They are now rinsed for a few more weeks. Just a little longer and then they can be harvested. The pineapple poison and lava freeze have beautiful colors. 😁

WEEK 2 DAY 14 Since last week the babies have taken off! They didn’t have much light until yesterday when I added another 100w led and since then I’ve seen a huge difference ! They are looking super healthy the roots said fuck the pot and grew right through it I’m actually super interested in seeing how these grow up.. The 3 clones that were separate last week are now moved into one single pot to further develop the experiment. They are on the same feed as the mother with flora grow/micro/bloom and cal-mag . And In the last picture you can see my ghettos man way of cloning .. going to see which 2 out of 4 are better rooted and I will move those to a pot in about a week or so. We are at the beginning of the 9th week of flowering. The trichomes are slowly beginning to change color. I'm now going on vacation for 9 days, I couldn't have planned it any shittier. But anyway, I've decided to keep them growing and then probably harvest them straight after my vacation.

This girl is a little behind her big sister. But she is looking great.

The hulk is swelling up at a rapid clip I think she'll have some big buds on her. Started giving less grow down to 2 ml per gal and more bloom. Added in some TNB co2 as well which I usually only use on the autos. Instead of feeding on the previous feed I gave them the enhancer from green house feeding just humic acids and enzymes and they responded very well as I think there was beginning to be a build up. I'm happy with how they look right now.

8 week We have 12 strong plants and one skinny one. They start drinking more then 1.5 l with one application of water. Smells really sweetly and fruity. I really love it!

A few more weeks for the strawberry banana I’ll start pulling the Tropicana cookies and the wedding glue down this week

Hey ihr Lieben! Nach 10 Tagen Trocknung habe ich das Curing begonnen. Die Äste haben geknackt und mir signalisiert, dass sie bereit sind. Nach 5h Handarbeit war ich dann fertig. Mega anstrengend :P! Aber hat sich sehr gelohnt :). Trotz das ich dieses Mal anstatt mit mineralischem Dünger mit einem ein Komponenten-Dünger gedüngt habe (Hesi Bio-Bloom), habe ich sogar mehr herausbekommen... Bin sehr zufrieden :). Nach dem Curing habe ich das Material in die Terplocbags gepackt und lasse sie nun dort schön fermentieren - das hat letztes Mal sehr gut geklappt und kann ich nur empfehlen. Danke an alle die mich bei meinem 2ten Run begleitet haben, ihr seid die Besten! Mir hat es auch mega Spaß gemacht und ich freue mich schon darauf, meinen 3ten Run mit euch zu teilen - mehr Infos dazu kommen bald.
