Day 15 - First day in the second week of veg cycle and I am generally happy with both ladies. Cheech is looking like she is bending over a little with the weight of her leaves, so I’ve given her a bit of help to keep her steady and strong. I’ve also noticed that the roots on Cheech are sticking together and a bit darker than I would like. This could mean that the air stone left a “dead spot” where the water wasn’t circulating properly. I’ve adjusted the air stone to be more centre in the bucket and made sure that the water is cold enough to prevent potential root rot. Will need to keep a close eye for the next week or so. Lights have been not been adjusted (still at 60cm from seedlings) because there has only been about a 2cm growth in the last week. Changed the water (10L), buckets and nutrients to keep everything healthy. The tubes for the air bubblers are wiped down because the nutrients stick to the pipe. Milwaukee PH controller is running for about 1 hour to bring the PH down again from the addition of the nutrients and change in water. Day 17 and we have a clear front runner in Cheech. Her third node is open with a fourth clearly visible. Venezia has a clear third node, but it isn’t fully open yet with the fourth just barely starting. Day 20 - Cheech has a clear fourth node now and the fifth is starting to show whereas Venezia is one node behind. They are looking healthy and they will be ready to be topped in the coming week of veg

D34 Defoliation

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Growing nicely, I'm excited for a high CBD and THC strain combination. It's supposed to be a good strain well-balanced medical strain with less stoney effects but still a pain & mood management, hopeful it'll work for me.

Added a humidifier and removed the dome lid. They've been underwatered these last days and their size isn't what I would expect at this point. Update: 01/12 --> As you can tell by the look of those roots, they are ready to be transplanted into a 2 gal pot. They are starting to take off, especially the one on the left. I'll be adding Biobizz Root Juice at low doses in next waterings. Looks promising.

Day 8 - Girls starting to come on now. Looks like their roots have settled and starting to see some pokies coming out of the bottom of the root pouches so hopefully start to see some good growth beginning soon. Get them ready for training and the likes. Not changed the water this week (really should have as temp has been up a bit...into the 25's in the tank but plenty of Great White in there and no roots in water yet but...) - topping up with plain water to keep the EC level and just pH adjusting. Last weeks solution was a bit hot for my liking but no burn signs so should be good for a couple more days yet. Got some iceline procured so been cleaning/flushing/sterilising the Hailea for getting it installed (That's when the water change will happen...likely to last weeks strength & recipe). Cant wait to get that in to get tank temps down (as roots will be in the water in about 5 days by the looks of things...tops!!! Also have the Torus Hydro pH Perfect Inline run through for a couple of days so it will be ready to go in to keep the pH good for me (A grow off and my pH skills are out the window!!! 😜). Just waiting on a Sicce Syncra 3.0 to pump the chiller and the pH Perfect (Bit overkill @ 2700LpH but looking something for the URDWC I am building for next year...thought the extra pressure would help with the inline pH adjuster too). Hey everyone :-) I am so glad that all the clones are looking great again because the pump failed overnight in the last few days and everyone hung their heads the next day 😔. Once again you notice how fast it can go as soon as the electronics fail. But everything was fixed in time and, as always, I have all the parts available for replacement. They look great again and stretch their heads towards the light :-). It remains exciting to see which lady stays in the end because, as mentioned in the last diary, I will only leave a single clone to train him to a single bush with topping and ScrOG ☺️. 7.4. - Watered 💧 9.4. - I'm so dumb...wires were too tight for the main stems and it got cut in. I've carefully removed them, but I did not give enough time to recover and continued bending. Result - 2 half-broken stems (thankfully healthy and growing further) and 1 completely broken off main stem. Watered 💧 10.4. - I guess I must be very lucky this run or the genetics are really good. All plants are thriving and gaining new growth each day, leaves are so big that I am quickly loosing any free space. First buds sites are slowly starting to form, so I will defoliate a bit. Self Sabotage Is my passion but this one was unintentional as flowering was going bomb i thought they could require More nutrents as well. This one was a classical P K self inflicted shot in the cock. The small dots i interpreted as bug bites we're really p&k excess advising that i needed to shut my dick & stop snorting power point presentations. AND i didn't consider that Barrier alas i can use only on soil not spray was a heavy punch on my already fucked nutrient schema & plague support so used it a Lot too!. Thought AND Prayers on these beloved ones. As these lil green angels clings to life 420 homies!
