She suffered a serious overfertilization in the last two weeks. I thought it was a deficiency and added more nutrients, which made everything worse. The overfertilization happened because I wasn't doing a runoff, only once a week. And also a super concentrated dose. I did a flush at the beginning of the week, and the water came out almost black. She's recovering well, flowering and developing new, beautiful green leaves and flowers. She still has about 30 days to get rid of this toxicity, I hope everything goes well.

Average stem height of the big ones are 36 inches, but the mishap past week with the lights might have stressed em a bit and caused some stretching. There was also a humidity issue for a few hours, which could be the culprit for the stretching. Two stems are pushing 40 inches. However, there are no signs of light or heat stress, despite the stems getting within inches of the leds. We shall see... I’m also battling a cold Canadian winter where it hit -42 Celsius today. Plants are in a cold basement in an old house. Had to bring out an extra space heater. Can’t get the temp in my tent above 20. Tent is too packed to introduce a stand up heater. Maybe I’ll convince the plants that fall is coming and they need to bud like crazy.

There have been no trips for 2 weeks, but prevention is better 😀. Because of the neem oil, the plants look very dark and shiny, which I really like when they shimmer like that 😝. With a heavy heart I unfortunately had to sort out a phenotype for reasons of space but it is not bad because the pheno did not have to die but was allowed to see the light of a friend 😃👍 I didn't do any training these days, that will be done again the next few days 👌. it was watered twice this week with around 0.6 l per plant. WEEK 8 (04/18/2021 - 04/24/2021) Day 59: 04/18/2021 Defoliated some growth from each plant before I installed my custom-built SCRoG net made of: pvc piping, drywall screws, and jute twine for the netting. It’s slightly smaller than the tent, 41”x41” with a second level for another net. It fits perfectly, leaving plenty of room to work around the edges and move the fan around if needed. Immediately after defoliation and installing the net, I watered using ½ strength Botanicare Hydroguard. Watering was different. I used a battery-powered liquid transfer pump to help water the plants a little faster and more efficiently. Also helps to reach the plants I can’t access as easily in the corner. I am unable to test/collect any of the runoff at the moment since installing the net, which wouldn’t be an issue by itself, but my saucers are just barely large enough to fit the base of the 5 gallon pots into. I have no way of sticking a pH pen or TDS meter in the runoff. They simply won't fit between the pot and the saucer. This is extremely unfortunate, as I am now unable to monitor the ppm of the soil with each watering. Will have to pick up some larger saucers soon or think of another solution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 61: 04/20/2021 ‘Tis the season to be medicated. It’s going to be a painfully difficult task to take readings but I really need to know what the condition of the soil is right now. Will not be using any nutrients this time considering the runoff was kind of high when I fed on 4/10. This seems a little risky though since it has been 11 days since a nutrient feed, but I’d rather not burn the plants by blindly adding nutrients. Will return. Hopefully with measurements. (some amount of time later) Tap water: 245ppm, 6.1 pH (9 gallons) pH Down: 30ml JB#1 - 2730ppm, 7.0 pH JB#2 - 2290ppm, (pH pen died again on this plant) AP#1 - 2380ppm, 6.9 pH AP#2 - 3610ppm (seems extremely high), 7.0 pH GC#1 - 2320ppm, 6.9 pH GC#2 - 2340ppm, 7.1 pH I don’t know what was up with the measurements on the AP#2. The saucers the pots are sitting in are a little small so I think the ppm might have been reading high because the bottom of the fabric pot was sitting in the runoff. Maybe I’m just saying that to reassure myself. Either way, the 3000+ ppm seemed very off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 66: 04/24/2021 Defoliation + weaving/securing branches through SCRoG. I'm not 100% sure that the SCRoG was the most optimal technique of choice given the very limited space within the grow tent. Also, I almost feel like I installed the screen a little late. Maybe not? Either way, I have read about them and the potential of increased yields, which got me excited enough to build one to try out for myself. I was aware going into it that there would be some difficulties using a SCRoG. I can no longer move my pots around is the main thing. Not being able to move the pots around has increased the difficulty factor of watering/feeding. I now have to access 3 different sides of the tent to get all 6 plants. I've clipped all the ties holding the branches down from previous LST sessions. There was just no way I was going to spend hours weaving in and out of all the ties trying to water each plant while also dealing with the difficulties of a SCRoG obstructing the work space. That would also wreck my poor back. From here, things are going to get real exciting. Tomorrow (04/25) I am rescheduling the light cycle to 12/12 to initiate flowering. Another 60-70 days to go, growing buds and packing on trichomes. With that said, I'm excited to have made it through my very first full vegetative cycle. I've definitely made my fair share of mistakes, as expected, but as long as I keep learning from them future harvest will only continue to increase in quality and yield. Keeping up the feeding ppm this week as we are getting to the end. May be pushing them a little more than I should but finding out how they react for next run. Still continuing to play with the light intensity and seeing how the girls react to my environment conditions when pushed harder. Could have backed off and stayed with 100, 300, 600, 900 PAR levels at the different stages but I have trying to go a little higher in the late stages and going over 1,000 PAR. Little more detail….. Day 1 of week 7–this would make the largest plant 43 days old today. Things are going great as far as I can tell. I used very minimal nutrients during this week. Will add some flowering nutrients on the next feed. Looking to see some density on the buds in the upcoming weeks.

10 weeks from seed to harvest. The nutrient line I was using didn’t give me optimal growth, for this strain and my level of experience. Had some great growth and veg time, about 4 weeks, but when flower kicked in they got beastly. I would say I had two different phenos of this strain, and the one pheno that is unique, had slightly looser buds than the other two. This could be because of the LST/super cropping of the main cola. The other two had nice rock hard frosty buds and have similar smells and profile. The other one has more citrus, and was a bit lanky, more sativa in looks. Overall, easy enough to grow, no major surprises, and decent enough yield for 10 weeks. This is a strain that could have been better had I not had some issues with either lockout/deficiencies.

She is much prettier than she was a week ago :) I remembered that I have my first grow light, which is more compact and it will give me more space, so I changed my light, now the girl's side branches get light too:) I add a lot of video memes, because I really want to win Iphone16 pro ;) and those who don't take risks don't drink champagne:) good luck to everyone.

Since all plants are drinking slower, all were watered less, and less frequently. AK1's issues seemed to slow (not stop) this week. Most of AK2's leaves are gone, the damaged leaves haven't gotten worse and the remaining green leaves haven't been damaged as much. Since I'm seeing green on AK2, and nothing smells or looks too weird I'm going to continue growing. North is still growing strong, started the weirdest and is pulling through strong. What's weird is I think all plants including North is being affected by the same thing, but AK2 is suffering the most. Harvest tracking: - North may have about 1-2 weeks to go, most trichomes are looking cloudy and some are clear. PORTUGUÊS / BRASIL Deixei ela meio largada, vivendo por conta no sol. Ela tem pegado tempo forte, chuva forte, sol forte, frio e segue firme. Ainda estou com o mesmo problema das moscas brancas. Elas não param. Tenho pulverizado um pouco de agua com vinagre e sabão para eliminar, mas me sinto mal de estar jogando sabão. Não sei se o sabão ou o vinagre reagem com os tricomas. se você sabe, me avisa por favor. Uma coisa que tenho achado incrível dela (a primeira que plantei não ficou assim, e nem um terceira que foi plantada junto desta), ela ficou com um roxo escuro bonito demais e está começando a ficar mais densa, pesada. Nas fotos e vídeos dá pra ver as cores bem, assim como as marcas das moscas brancas em todas as folhas. Uma coisa que fiz foi adicionar um pouco de NPK 4 14 10. O motivo é que tenho outra de mesma idade e que passou por uns sufocos no início (nasceu de raiz pra cima e depois o cachorro ainda arrancou, milagre estar viva), como a colheita tava prejudicada, fiquei com menos medo e dó de testar então aqui eu adicionei bastante NPK mesmo em cima do meu solo super rico. A planta não reclamou, não torceu folhas e nem mudou coloração. Entendi como uma aprovação de que ainda posso adicionar NPK mesmo em cima do meu solo e que preciso revisar a mistura da próxima vez para colocar ainda mais nutriente. Acho que ela ainda tem fácil mais de 30 dias pela frente. Ela está com 68 dias ENGLISH I left her a bit abandoned, living on her own in the sun. It has been experiencing strong weather, heavy rain, strong sun, cold and is still going strong. I still have the same problem with whiteflies. They don't stop. I have been spraying some water with vinegar and soap to eliminate it, but I feel bad about throwing soap. I don't know if soap or vinegar react with trichomes. If you do, PLEASE let me know! One thing I've found incredible about it (the first one I planted didn't look like this, nor did a third one that was planted at the same time as this one), it turned a really beautiful dark purple and is starting to get denser, heavier. In the photos and videos you can see the colors well, as well as the whitefly marks on all the leaves. One thing I did was add a little NPK 4 14 10. The reason is that I have another girl of the same age who went through some hardships at the beginning (she was born with the roots going up and then the dog took it from the pot, it is a miracle that she's alive). My thought was that since the harvest was affected, I was less afraid and worried about testing things. So I added a lot of NPK even on top of my super rich soil. The plant did not complain, did not twist leaves or had color changes. I took it as an approval that I can still add NPK even on top of my soil and that I need to revise the mixture next time to add even more nutrients.
