11/5 -- They now have 2 weeks of 12/12 under their belts and it's truly been a tale of 3 plants for the past week and a half. GZ2- This one has the opportunity to meet its full potential. It has stretched to give me this beautiful canopy and very few signs of over feed or stress in it. Hopefully she stays this way. Moby- look like it may have been developing some deficiencies. I fed it a few days ago and it seemed to respond well. Some leaves have gotten yellow but the plant is do thick and dense I'm not worried about a few falling off. All in all, it's been steady eddy for Moby Dick that I now believe is also a Barney's Farm Freebie(the seed is now listed where I buy mine from) I'm not going to change it but if you're keeping track, this is most likely a tent full of Barney's Farm. Gz1- and now the music gets a little more serious. I really started recognizing problems with her right at flip. She has lost a lot of fan leaves due to yellowing,, dark stems and I can tell her branching has suffered because of it. Growth at the bottom looks weak and even wrinkled in some spots. She has burn spots and signs of deficiency galore. But also VERY dark fan leaves. I've just come to the conclusion that flushing was probably my best move. She can still have a week of solid growing. If I can get it corrected now, this plant will still be respectable but the trend is disturbing and alarming to someone who knows how fast they can decline. So in conclusion, things are getting a little hairy. Flowering always brings on a new set of challenges and I'm still learning every single time. Week 13 and 3rd week of flower started today 8/29. I did some Schwazzing last night! They were definitely ready!!! Starting to get that beautiful aroma 🙃 It's hurricane season so we'll have some rain coming up but I'm only 3 weeks in flower so that will be gone come crucial time. Temps outside are starting to go down so it's looking like a nice, gradual transition! You don't want to immediately adjust your temps, rh, etc. You have to ease it all down during early flower 😉 That's about it for now, just wanted to share my vibes with yall. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Hi guys, so I chopped the little gelatocake 3 days ago and its hanging in 55% humidity and 15°f, I have taken a sample bud, you no how it is lol. Sherbert mimosa are struggling along and going purple 💜 bit cold here lately, starting to fatten up a bit now, the baby photos are growing fast but need repoting. Happy growing guys 💜💚💪

If I didn't have the pictures from each week, I'd have a hard time believing they are growing so fast! Pistils have formed on almost all the plants, with Gelat.OG being the furthest along.

Developing into a nice stout indica structure.. I’ll do some dry backs on this one to build up the root zone ✌️🏼

I decided to do a partial harvest on this lady as im still trying to decide if I like the heavy high or the upper highs. So ... and I love this .. I picked some bananas .. they made my fingers smell amazing and I put them up to dry. Normally I like to hang the whole plant but this time I'm trying to do a trim and then hang the plant later. I'm excited to say that the new humidifier made all the difference in the world and I've actually got the humidity where it needs to be. The only issue is that it's rather warm and will only get warmer as the Temps outside rise. I grabbed a little portable cooler thing to try out ... hopefully I can get a good smoke out of this girl!

We have had another very hot week. All my girls are suffering and display some ugly looking leaves. But so far the buds are doing well. Especially Plant 2, the mainlined plant, is producing some seriously fat buds. The smell is very interesting. Plant 1 measures 59 cm and Plant 2 is 73 cm tall.

Oct.29 - We transplanted the girls into soil since they are moving into vegetation phase Nov.4 - Watered each plant 250mL, 0.25mL of each nutrient for each girl

Entering the last 2 weeks of nutrients before flush. Still looking very healthy to me. Growth of buds look a bit slower now but other than that all good here! :) This pollen is getting me supeeer excited 😍 🖖🏽🖖🏽

Day 64 - Starting week 10 today and she was dried out and read for water so she got two gallons of plain pH’d water. Other than that, there’s not much to speak of other than I’ll do a little defoliating on Thursday so a couple lower bud sites will be opened up more. Day 68 - All looking good still and looking like she doesn’t have much more time left, she’s finishing quicker than I thought. Her trichs are about 75% milky and 25% clear so I think she’s got about 2 weeks or so left. She was pretty dry so she got one more round of nutes and then will be just plain water till the end. Day 69 - She’s still chugging along nicely. No issues from her feeding of nutes yesterday and she’s still fattening up each day. Couple little spots where she could definitely still fill in but she’s got a little bit of time left so I’m sure she will. Day 70 - The end of week 10 and looking over the trichs today, she’s just about all milky, was pretty hard to find any clear and picked out a couple amber in there. So it’s looking like she’s got a week or a little more left but will make my decision to chop when she has the amber I’m looking for, about 25-30%.

Empezamos la segunda semana. Ayer día 5 de Febrero se realizo un trasplante de las 9 plantas con mejor aspecto a tiestos de 6-7 L que tenia por casa que he decidido aprovechar. Son las 9 que quedan en el armario y con las que trabajare, de las 13 con las que empecé. En cuanto a la iluminación la semana pasada la acabamos con 50W, para esta semana en adelante y durante todo el crecimiento la dejaremos en 100W. Ciclos de 18 horas de luz y 6 horas apagado. Pocos riegos de momento solo con Rhizotonic ñ, 0,5 ml por litro. Empezaremos a añadir Plagron Alga Grow durante esta semana y pulverizaremos con Plagron Vita Race. Too Tall, Almost touching LEDs and lightburn is becoming an issue as well as the outer parts receiving too little light. After some more desperate attempts at LST and even fumbling the scrog net on top again..... The girls need to move out of the budget home and get something proper! Never thought the additional growth during flowering is this much x)

The weather is really bad for her flowering stage. All these rains may push me to an esrly harvest. I will have to clear up the land and setup a greenhouse with solar-powered fans for the humidity.
