Hey hey growmies! another longer week, as I wanted to show these girls bouncing back from some problems I ran into with my Kratky experiment. about halfway through the week my plants started drooping and showing signs of overwatering, my guess is either the plant outgrew her air roots or the reservoir was too hot, inhibiting the plants ability to take up oxygen. either way, a quick peek at the roots showed some very healthy looking noodles, so I decided to not take any chances and come up with a solution that would solve both those problems. I took a 3 litre container, put a coat of primer and black paint on it to keep light out, then a layer of plumbers tape to bounce some of the grow lights off of the container, theoretically keeping the heat out, some other things I could have done was paint it white, or put some wall insulation around it. I could have also kept my jars and tried some troubleshooting, fill them less and more often. but I am happy with the roots created by Kratky, that's the nice thing about that system, it forces the roots to grow more horizontally, the roots have now created a sturdy foundation for low stress training and are perfect for placing into DWC. so that's what I did, I added a tiny pump and air stone, and for now both plants will sit in this tiny container, The Runtz will be moved to the tent as soon as possible, hopefully before these girl's roots get entangled, If that does happen, I will have to trim back some of the Runtz roots, I don't want to hurt the autoflower. now you've likely wondered what is up with the host of deficiencies the plants are showing, honestly that's just neglect on my part. I can tell there's damage from overwatering, pH fluctuations and even some lockouts. I am more on top of it now, the pH is more stable, the plants are getting oxygen and will recover plenty before flower. Plus I get to show off how hardy ruderalis is, look at the auto-flower compared to the photo period, she barely cares about the high temps, pH fluctuations all she appears to want is more food, so I have increased the ec to 1 ms, but most importantly, ill keep the pH in a range where they can actually take up the nutrients now That's it for now Growmies, Thanks for checking out my diary. Update every Monday. Enjoy!! Main plant just been LST it to get it all to the edge of the pot. Then I'm going to let it grow upwards. The clone decided to go hydro with it. 1st attempt at this. I researched it and watched a lot of videos on YouTube. So I'm going to give it a try. Been a week doing it in a 1 gal jug (fruit punch jug) and it looks good. So I made a 2 gal bucket for my hydro setup. Bucket, air stone and air pump. Got the bucket setup Sunday.. Feeding Calmag 3ml Flora blend 1tsp Grow big power 3/4 tsp Tiger bloom 1tsp Rapid roots starter 6 drops. 3 gal mix Ph 6.0 for hydro.. 6.5 for pot Ppm tds 660ish

Week 7 for White widow by greenhouseseedco, Shes looking stunning to be honest... surprised to not have any roots growing through the pot holes, compared to the space panda but cant really complain as this girl is doing wayyyy better 😂 Ill be topping her again in a few days for 16 mains... but will also be transplanting her in a 2 weeks probably.

I took the tiny plant out of the tent due to state laws. She is happily sitting in a window... we'll see what happens with her! Massive growth for both plants this week! They both doubled in size! I don't know whether to call my plants vegging, pre-flowering or flowering. I figured this was the last week of veg and next week is full on flowering!! They both stink! Gassy for sure! I'll need to turn start using my carbon filter soon... I caught a few cool time lapse videos this week. Especially after feeding them last night!! I fed them twice this week. The first time was at a third recommended dose and I jumped it to half yesterday. The leaves are clawing at the top of the plants... I think it is a lack of phosphorus due to me only watering them the last 2 weeks. Any thoughts out there? I'd love advice about defoliating... I have a couple massive fan leaves I could remove to open the canopy for flowers... I just don't want to stunt the plant or rob the main cola of a major energy source... Thoughts are definitely welcome! I tried my hand at LST... I think a few are working and a few aren't doing the job... Definitely need to figure this out! Again advice is welcome! start of week 2 veg, i put an aquarium heater in my res to keep the temp 21 celcius also added an extra airpump in the res with the waterpump roots are already in the water i used CFL so far i might hang my led above them now

Start week

I am pleasantly surprised with this grow. This is my second time growing Cream Cookies and my yields have increased by 400%. Cream Cookies #2 was the heaviest yielder coming in at 224.04 grams wet. Coming in at almost a quarter POUND for one plant just makes me grin from ear to ear. Im so extremely happy with how ive been taking care of them. It seems that proper and methodical defoliation is the key to massive yields. Cutting fan leaves which block out a significant portion of the available light to the lower and developing bud sites proved to be a great choice. The plants look a little 'skinny' after defoliation, but the newly exposed bud sites explode into the canopy. Im just so very happy with how everything went. Haven't smoked yet its curing now, will update in two weeks!

Stretch period

Everything's in flush mode, didnt take any pics this week we had alot of work to do with the flush and harvest of the big citradellic and everything is so close to the chop I figured I would just wait until the day of to get the final pics. The video is from Tuesday which is when the harvest happened. The fades are coming in hot and the aromas are heavy filling the tent. Over the next week they will be coming down and will do another update.

I'm now on vacation for 2 weeks so all photos will be from my security camera. From what I can tell my new clones are greening up and putting out some new growth. My blumats had a runaway on day 3... luckily my neighbor was around and was able to slow the drip rate down on my one plant which was starting to flood my box. It has now stopped dripping and my hope is there will be no more hiccups..I will be watching closely over my vacation. 😅🙏

La fin se rapproche pour la bannana x purple punch (je vien de lui donné sont premier rincage;) C est une plante vraiment facile à faire pousser elle peut encaisser de gros EC Et elle n à pas trop de feuille (facile à trimer ;) je pense donc que même un débutant peut avoir de très bon résultats avec cette souche il faudra juste la nourrir correctement (pas besoin de lst ou autre technique, juste lui laisser assez de place pour grandir (en hauteur comme pour les racines = big roots = big fruits ;) Pour la WEST COAST OG c est pareil on dirais elle sont en pilot automatique (tellement je n ai rien a faire a part arroser ) J ai au début mis 2 anneaux (technique que j aime bien quand j fais pousser une plante la première fois, au cas où il faudrait écarté les branches etc) mais la on en aurait presque pas besoin pareil que pour ka bannana il faut juste lui laisser assez de place pour les racines et lui laisser assez de place (largeur hauteur ) et des bon nutriment à bonne dose et normalement vous devriez avoir le même résultat que moi ;) Je doit dire que la west coast a une odeur magnifique et les photos pour toutes seul pour se qui est de la cristallisation :) Voilà les amis je m arrêt ici pour cette semaine on se retrouve pour la recolte de la bannana (la west coast à besoin de bien 10 jours encore avant le rincage)
