Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. This grape is a big frosty beast. I think she has the potential to put off an easy pound if she bulks up the way I think she will. I spread the plants out a little this week so they get better light and air flow. Other than that I haven't done anything besides keep the reservoir full. Still pumping nutrients 1 minute on 20 minutes off. They are getting .5 tsp maxibloom per gallon. Not going to run any boosters this round. They dont look like they want or need it.

Hey Grow Diaries fam, Welcome back to another update on our PCR adventure! We're at Week 9, which marks Week 4 of the flowering stage, and things are getting exciting! Overview The PCRs are flourishing, and the transformation is nothing short of spectacular. The tent is buzzing with energy, and every day brings new developments. The buds are swelling beautifully, and the trichome production is off the charts. This week has been all about maintaining optimal conditions and ensuring our ladies get everything they need to reach their full potential. Environment and Conditions Tent: 3x3, cleaned and prepped from top to bottom to ensure a pristine environment. Lighting: ViparSpectra P2000, delivering a perfect spectrum for this stage of growth. The balanced PAR output and efficient energy use keep our girls happy and thriving. Watering: TDS at 410, pH 5.8, and water temperature at 21°C. This ensures the nutrients are perfectly balanced and readily available. Nutrient Regimen We’ve kept up with our Aptus Holland feeding schedule, and it's paying off big time. Here's the current mix: Nutritional Spray: Aptus Holland NutriSpray to keep those leaves lush and healthy. TopBooster: Replaced StartBooster with TopBooster to promote flower development. P-Boost: Added to the mix for that extra phosphorus kick, crucial for blooming. K-Boost: a must for them to go fat as we like. The results speak for themselves – lush green foliage and robust bud formation. Defoliation At the end of this week, we performed a mass defoliation. It's always a bit nerve-wracking, but the results are worth it. Removing excess leaves ensures better light penetration and airflow, reducing the risk of mold and pests. Plus, it allows the plant to focus its energy on bud production. And let me tell you, after the defoliation, the PCRs look sexy as ever with their long legs and sculpted structure! Clones Update Our clones are thriving, showing the longest and whitest roots I've ever seen. We treated them with a water mix that included K-Boost and Mycor Mix at 1 gram per liter. This combination has worked wonders, promoting vigorous root development and overall plant health. Reflections This week has been a testament to the importance of a clean environment and precise nutrient management. The PCRs are responding exceptionally well, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with their progress. We're well on our way to an incredible harvest, and I can't wait to see these beauties in full bloom. Welcome to week 3F of growfessor theatre, 4x4 edition. The ladies are looking happy and healthy. Do-si-dos received a heavy defoliation, there were a ton of small inner branches starved for light, so they got cut. LSD, Green Crack and Mandarin dreams all received a light defo, yellowing leaves were removed. Lighting provided by Mars-Hydro TSW2000. Its been growing strong I will be tieing it down more later. I feed folllowing the week 3 bio bizz schedule so far so good, the plant seems to have responded well to topping 1 more week I think she will flower tho. As you can see in the pic there is 2 more new arrivals. So in the room now is, 2 x 420 fast bud orange sherbert, nearly done now. 1x barneys watermelon zkittles, day 24 1 x 420 fast bud purplelemonade day 1 1x barneys runtz day 1 There all autos, last lot of my seeds. After these I will be running some ethos photo periods. More pics to come Day 27, the watermelon zkittles is throwing out white pisstils now and is going into flower, I will start a new week tomorrow on day 28 as week 1 of flower. I will do a little defoloation today on it and get rid of all the inward facing and big fan leaves so she is ready for the next half of her journey. The orange sherberts are doing really well, stink of orange ice lollies, getting some purple coming thru now on them too. I have started feeding the plants 3 x a week like the biobizz schedule says, I make 4 litres to last the plant the week.

I installed a PH controller but it didn't work right and only the ph up peristaltic pump is working. I will use this over my vacation as my PH drifts down naturally so this should work until i get a replacement. I watered in my gsc and other seedlings until runoff with 850 ppm heavy in nitrogen to green them up as the organic top dressing is taking too long.will see how they respond.on week 4 day 4 They are responding well to nitrogen Gsc is taking off!!!will continue nitrogen until end of this week as needed.
